Hey everyone.

I was wondering if there has been any information written down on the properties of magic.
I.e
-How do casters channel its power?
-Is it a type of mystical energy ? I.e like chakra or spiritual energy?
-Where does this energy stem from in the first place?
-How is this energy woven and shaped into the specific effects desired by the caster? Like how does one shape this energy into a heal spell or lightning bolt for example?

Does anyone have any insight on these questions prehaps?

Hey guys.
I'am looking to create a Gnome Sorcerer of whom has a very strong personality and spirit (i.e great at spell casting) yet is somewhat anti social, bad at telling lies and lacks charisma in a social sense.

How would one go about representing this?

Mabye have his Charisma score of normally 17 but give him a penality to this score when rolling for skills like Bluff and Diplomancy?

Hey guys.

Whilst reading through topics about sauropods and the square/cube law it got me to thinking most creatures of golarion (those of ogre size or more) would be quite impractical (not including magic as a factor of course) if you go by the square/cube law. For example a storm giant or even a measly hill giant would most likey be crushed by its own weight.

Granted I know its fantasy and its ment to stretch the fields of belief but still I'm curious if Golarion has different laws of physics that allow it to better support gargantuan life. Again not including magic as a factor.

Hey guys I was just reading up on gnomes in golarion and from what I understand they can't crossbreed with other races. So since sorcery is inherit magic does this mean fluff wise gnomes are restricted to only the fey bloodline (being desendent from them)? How could they inherit a different bloodline (like stormborn or draconic for example) if they can't crossbreed?

Hey guys reading up blood of angels I noticed that half-orc aasimars is an acutal possibility. I was wondering how these half orcs would differ to normal half-orcs relation and personality wise as i'd expect them to become more accepted with humanoid races due to their angelic heritage.

I'd say most would still hold a fairly chaotic alignment but tend more toward good over neutral. Plus they'd probably have a more cheerful and kind outlook if they were more accepted into human society.

One last thing how would one determine the ageing process for a half-orc aasimar as it say's they usually live abit longer then normal half-orcs.

Hey guys just started writing up some background for a stone giant NPC that the PC's could meet. The basic idea is that he's a uniquely freespirited, good natured and wanderlusting giant, looking to adventure and explore the world. He has since returned to varisia after a long absence and after hearing from the PC's of the terror's the stone giants are causing he immediately decides to aid in stopping the giants, so disgusted he is in their behavour.

Here's the basic background for Gorik, the Oddball

Occupation: Traveling Adventurer

Race: Stone Giant

Deity: ??

Alignment: Chaotic Good

Class: Sorcerer/Fighter

Character

1) Gorik is an adventuring Stone Giant. He is a skilled sorcerer/fighter Battle sorcerer of Chaotic Good alignment.

2) When one thinks of a stone giant they think of close knitted, reclusive and neutral. Such is not the case with Pharos for he is a curious, kind-hearted, adventurous and wander lusting individual. Once of age Gorik left the confines of his tribe and set out to explore the world. He has since grown to become a well renowned adventurer, much to the shame of his traditionalistic parents.

3) Marked from birth with magical inheritance Gorik has grown to be a strongly potent sorcerer, wielding the powers of the very earth itself with great efficiency.

4) Unlike most stone giants Gorik is a good-natured, carefree and adventurous individual. His personality can be described as cheerful, curious, somewhat simple minded, carefree and free spirited. He also tends to be quite rash, and impetuous, commonly charging in without any consideration of the dangers or consequences.

Goals

Overall Main Goal Gorik isn’t looking to change the world. He simply wants the freedom to adventure, explore, and to enjoy life as best he can.

Physical features

Height: Gorik is a partially short stone giant standing at only 9’10’

Weight: 1000lbs

Skin Color: Stony texture and hue
Build:Well Toned and light

What do you think? Pretty basic so far but it should give the general idea.

Hey guys I was reading through the background regard giants and their cultures and was wondering how they would adapt being raised within a human society?

For example say a baby stone giant was saved from the ruins of a now lost stone giant tribe (Barbarian attack of whatever) and was adopted into a good natured human society. Would the giant adapt well into this different society becoming one akin to the humans, just as if he were a human born himself or would he become distant and long for other giants of his kind once he becomes of age?

Greetings guys.
Being a big pathfinder and tolkien fan I was interested in trying a campaign set in middle-earth. However I want the premise to be the PC's of Golarion travel across the planes and prehaps by mere accident end up in the lusious world of middle-earth.

Now obviously with pathfinder your imagaination is your only limit but being the lore nerd I'am I'd like middle-earth to work well as a possible planet residing within the cosmos. I.e even though its mechanics for magic and divine are quite different, plus the whole creation thing with Illuvatar and the Valar it can still be believeable that middle earth and golarion could coexist within the same universe.

Greetings everyone.

I am curently interested in creating an Ifrit Pc as I love characters with rash, destructive and free personalities, plus fire and who doesn't like fire?

Reading the ARG It seems most are either neutral or evil aligned but what of good aligned, specifically chaotic good (My personal favourite alignment. Basically still an impetuous, independent, free and destructive individual but possessing a good heart and concience, cares for his friends and companions and has some sense of justice.

The problem is however that even the best-natured ifrits tend to view others as tools to use which too me doesn't bode well for a good aligned character. This is where my dilema is because I want to have my ifrit good aligned but still stay true to the fluff.

Any thoughts?

Greetings guys.

First and foremost I apologies if this is in the wrong section but I am really not sure where the approriate place to post art in this forum would be so if this isn't the right place please feel free to move this thread.

I just finished designing my PC and would like to showcase it to the good people on the forum and see what their opnions where of it. I went for a quick simple outline and colour for this one.

Here's the image site.

http://grimgorironhide.deviantart.com/#/d59hozc

He's an Aasimar Sorcerer of Azata heritage and is of CG alignment.
He's a free spirited and joyous individual looking to adventure and explore the world. His freedom is very important to him. He's also quite optimistic.

He is a follower of Cayden Caliean and though he rarely turns down a good ol pint of ale he is unfortunetly quite terrible at holding his liquor, leading to some amusing situations.

Greetings guys.

I was just flicking through the NPC guide and came across Shensen a character which I've always had a liking for (Loved her artwork). One thing I was wondering though was why she didn't have the amphibious trait as I assumed that since normal aquatic elves had it half-elves would gain the trait as well? Prehaps the trait varies from child to child, some have it whilst more human like HE's don't?

Any thoughts on this?

Greetings guys.

Reading through the Inner Sea Guide I found stats for Aquatic elves which I was quite curious about however I don't believe any stats have been published for Half-elf Aquatics.

I plan on making a stat block for them but am worried about making them the superior of half-elves due to their aquatic traits which I found to be the problem with normal Aquatic elves.

So its pretty much the standard Half-elf stat block with the Aquatic sub type, Amphibious rule, proficiencey with spears, tridents, etc and a not yet determined swim speed.

What traits would be a good trade out for these abilities? So far I was thinking of just trading out multitalented?

Thoughts?

Greetings everyone.

Reading through the ARG section for Aasimar I get the impression that most Aasimar tend towards the LG/NG moral scale. I was thinking for a change to have a more chaotic Aasimar adventurer of whom favor's Cayden Caliean. He's not out to change the world, he doesnt care for destiny, he just wants to seek out new experiences, have fun and just explore world at his own discretion.

Greetings everyone.

I am interested in creation a Half-elf character born from an aquatic elf. I was planning on just using the half elf template, give him the amphibous rule, aquatic sub type, 30-ft swim spd and be done with it. However adding these rules without and penalties seems abit overpowered as he is pretty much superior to normal half-elves which ever way you look at it.

Does anyone have any ideas of what I could do to help balance him out? Mabye a racial penalty to str or something?

Greetings everyone.

I am planning on creating an aquatic Half-elf and was wondering where I could find any good information in regards to aquatic-half elves in golarion. I.e what physical traits they have, sea coloured skin, webbed hands etc? Are they be amphibious? What's their relationship with other races stuff like that really.

Greetings everyone.

I am curious on the Undine and what their prefered living habitations would be considering being water touched and all. I can see many would prefer life under the sea but what of ones raised upon land from birth? Would they be happy to live their lives under the light of the sun or would they deep down desire to live their lives under the ocean's depths due to their aquatic natures?

Greetings everyone.

I'm not sure if this is the right place to post this so please move if necessary.

I'm going about designing an Ifrit Sorcerer character to use in a ROTR campaign and am having trouble thinking of a good background for him (I'm terrible at this lol). I was hoping to see if the good people from the pathfinder community could help me with so ideas for backgrounds and the like.

He're's the basic skeletal structure I have for him.

-He was raised in the town of Sandpoint (I wanted him here as I see sandpoint as the most popular starting point for aspiring adventurers).

-His one true love and passion is that of adventure. He lives a live of adventure, questing, travel, exploration etc.

-He is CG in nature

-He is a sorcerer first and foremost but he will get some levels of fighter as he improves.

-As with all ifrit he is a strong adorer of fire in all its forms. Most of his spells are fire based.

-He has a cheerful and lively personality

-His melee weapon of choice is the spear

Greetings everyone.

I'm planning on using a Lizardman sorcerer/barbarian and was wondering what a good life span for the race would be as it is not really mentioned anywhere.

As serpent folk live to 500 I was thinking either human or half-elf age length depending upon lizardspecies in question as different lizards have different mortality rates.

Greetings all.

I was curious on whether cloud dragons are supoosed to be native from the plane of air as in The Great Beyond book it says unlike the other planes the plane of air hosts no native draconic species?

Is this information out of date?

Greetings everyone.

I was just reading through the Gunslinger Lirianne's background and was thinking of trying her character out for fun. However being the magic lover that I am I want to give her some sorcerer levels in addition to gunslinger but need a reason to explain how she got her recently founded powers.

I read up the elemental bloodline and it states that it can also come from being exposed to a powerful elemental force so prehaps she could have gained her magic from when she was struck by the arcane lightning during the primal magic storm? Would that work?

Greeting everyone.

I have a quick question regarding Iomadean Paladins and their duty to seek out evil and bring them too justice (usually by the sword edge). Though they pursue this cause as their duty to their goddess do they truely enjoy hunting down evil-doers or do they do it just because they see it as something that needs to be done, whether they like it or not?

Greetings all.

It seems with all the metallics they (even at birth) are as smart if not smarter than moderately intelligent humans. Is this a general rule for all dragons or can metallics produce offspring with more subpar intelligence. I.e Silver's base In is 14, could you have one who started a bid of a dunce like int 6? Mabye he can make up for that with greater predatory and physical traits? I think it would be quite interesting to see how other metallics would view him as unlike whites he is good-aligned and a proper metallic despite his subpar intellect.

Greetings all.

Whilst reading rotr #4 a little tibit caught my eye, that being of speckled white dragons. Is there any more info regarding these extremely rare occurances as I am quite interested in learning more about them. I'm assuming they are like the black sheep of whites to put it in a way especially if sages are correct in that they are the good aligned counterpart of whites. Pity there are none that live past a few months though.

Greetings everyone.

I've been reading up on stone giant culture from #4 RotR and was thinking of how they treat oddities within their society. I.e mabye a giant who has a strong sense of wanderlust and wants to adventure and explore the world?
Mabye one who has a strong sense of justice and wants to help good folk in need and fight for just causes (Like a Paladin)?
Mabye one who wants to make his own way in life not bound by ways of his people? He feels a strong sense of freedom(May be a worshiper of Cayden)

Greetings everyone.

Me and my gaming group are doing a campaign using monsterous PC's for a change (Savage species as a guide). I love giants and thus out of the giants to pick from I decided on the storm giant as I feel the stone giant is too unlikely to take up a life of travelling and adventure and the others i.e frost and fire are too evil to fit in our good/neutral group. Clouds giants are a no because I want my character to be a fairly humble being and they believe themselves superior to all others.

I was thinking of making a Storm giant whom has decided to dedicate his life to hunting out evil doers where ever they may lie and ridding the world of their presense.

He's a being strongly opposed to evil he is a strong believer in actions speak louder than words.

He believes that the more evil removed the better future the world will hold and he remains true to this philosophy.

Though his body is now covered with scars he wears them proudly for they are his trophies of his many hard fought battles.

Now I am not sure how old he should be for I want him to still be young but at the same time experienced. All I know is that storm giants live to be up to 600 yrs.

P.S I'm not sure on how to get my giant interacting with other adventurers as Storm giants by nature are reclusive creatures and thus are used to doing things on their own.

Greetings everyone

Whilst browsing through my bestiary 1 I noticed that the silver dragon adult and ancient example have heal spells like cure light and moderate wounds.
I was wondering how they can learn these spells as It states they know and cast spells as a sorcerer of the indicated level yet the heal spells arn't available to sorcerers? Am I missing something?

Greetings everyone.
I am working on a simple background for my Silver Dragon PC that I plan on including in our groups next campaign (10th level) and would like to see what everyone thought of it and if it is believable and non-contradictory. The dragons in our game use the D&D draconomicon as a reference guide even though we are playing in Golarion

Place and date of birth

Pharos hatched within his mother’s lair, located somewhere within the mountainous regions of Andoran on the 12th of Erastus 4671.

Background

Pharos is a Juvenile Silver Dragon of Lawful Good alignment and has now recently past his fortieth year. Older silver’s pass him off as another youthful (to a dragon) idealist, but Pharos sees himself as something more akin to a Paladin (In relation to hunting down evil and aiding good).
He hates evil creatures (particularly demons and devils) and despises evil dragons. Those whom worship evil deities also earn his resentment and righteous fury. Though many of his scales are now chipped and scared Pharos bears them proudly and views them as trophies for his many hard fought victories against countless evil foes.

While he is grim and relentless in the pursuit of evil, Pharos is generally lighthearted and cheerful and laughs aloud when deeply amused.

Habits

-Because of his mobile lifestyle Pharos favors magical containers that hold more that their size would indicate i.e like bags of holding, handy haversacks, portable holes and the like. These items allow Pharos to carry his more valuable treasures with him.

-Though lawful and good, Pharos is not one to care for hierarchies and formal authority. He believes that living a moral life involves doing good deeds and taking no actions that bring undeserved harm to other beings.

-Pharos enjoys the company of good-aligned humans and other humanoids. Whilst in their company, Pharos usually assumes a humanoid form, both as a practical matter and to keep the humanoids at ease.

-He is a fairly avid collector of items with magical properties, specifically those that aid his cause against evil, and he will commonly adorn himself with them.

What do you think?

Greetings everyone.

I've never myself created a sorcerer character and as such am not sure how to write in a decent background for them. I want him to have a Celestial bloodline as I've always been a fan of Celestials. Any ideas on how I should go about creating a simple background that would fit well with my prefered personality for him?

I wish for his powers to be of an ancestor azata for I want his personality to one of wandering, independence,a love of hunting out evil and aiding good and is always looking to further develop his powers. I want his alignment to be either CG or NG.

Greetings.

Just another thing I was curious on with regards to paladins and their personalities. Now I've always assumed since they live by their code of conduct and duties that they would commonly maintain a quite serious personality, even when relaxing with fellows which I would find quite boring. Could you have Paladins whom still remains devoted to their code and duties yet maintain a fun, unique and enjoyable personality, only becoming serious when the need calls.

For example, the company just finished a quest and the Paladin of Iomedae of whom loves a strong pint of ale decides they should go celebrate a couple ales at the local tavern.

My main question overall is how flexible can one be with a Paladin's personality and outside duty life-style.

Greetings everyone.

It is known that Valeros, the fighter iconic is an avid lover of the god Cayden for his views on life and freedom. Now what I'm curious with the background and personality he has would having Cayden cleric levels in addition to his fighter levels be in or out of character for him?

This worry mainly stems down to the fact that clerics are a rare class for Cayden due to them being too focused, and can often pass up enjoyment of this life in favor of the next as noted in faiths of purity.

Greetings all.

I'm curious on how proficent a dragon in humanoid form would fight for since they lack their natural weapons they would have to resort to human weapons to fight in combat. Do they have any proficency in simple martial weapons for since most would be experts in the use of their natural ones would the change to using humanoid weapons hamper them?

Prehaps they could adapt weapons which replicate they natural fighting styple like clawed gauntlets or the like?

Greetings

As it is well known dragons can mate with almost anything so I would think that them mating with a different coloured mate wouldn't be a truely uncommon occurance. Now what I'm curious about is the genetics involved with this. For example if say a F Bronze was to mate with a M Brass and the Bronze fell pregnant would the wyrmlings always be bronzes or could they have an equal chance of being brasses?

Also regardless of what species they become would they inherit traits from both parents regardless of type? I.e A Bronze dragon inherits some of his fathers light-heartedness and more chaotic nature?

Greetings everyone.

Now as I'm reading the first bestiary it is noted that Archons all start off as Lanterns or lesser servitor spirits and gain power and prestige through aiding the cause of good. Also with angels it is a similar process with deva's and planetars sometimes being promoted to solar.

Now with the Azata's is does not state on if like Archons they all start as a basic form and move up or if they prehaps become a certain type right off the bat. How do Azata's progress and grow in power is what I'm curious about. Do they get stronger through the act of good like archons or do they just grow in power like mortals do, learning from experience and training themselves both physically and spiritally?

Greetings everyone.

Now my favourite type of outsiders are the azata as they embody the ideals of freedom, adventure, travel and independence. As such I would like to try incorporating one into Golarion as it is my main setting for adventuring. However I've never as of yet tried to incorporate an outsider into the setting as I'm not sure how he would fit and interact with mortals.

I would like something like an azata Ghaele of whom takes the appearance of a idealized human as to better fit in. He is a kind hearted crusader who take joy in the thrill of adventure and questing, the hunting out of evil creatures and helping out of those in need.

He has taken residence in Golarion for the past few decades for he finds the people and the world as a whole very intriging. It is also a good hunting ground for knightly crusading as the world is populated by many terrible beasts and creatures.

Now back to the original question how say would he interract with an adventuring group of whom he has recently decided to accompany? Would he be the subject of envy or jealousy? How would he communicate as he wouldn't know the common tongue, mabye he picked it up during his years there?

1 person marked this as a favorite.

Greetings everyone.

Having read both the Draconomcion book of Dragons (D&D) and dragons revised(PF)I find I personally prefer how the metallic dragons are presented in the Draconomicon over those in the revised. Especially Silvers as I was never personally a big fan of their immense paladin esque theme and prefer the Draconomicons defining of them.

Does anyone have any suggestions on how I should best incorporate the Draconomicon definings of them without having to alter the background too much?

Greetings.

I have a question in regards to a dragons ability to alternate its form. I've looked up the rules for polymorph and alter self and I'm unclear as to if the dragon maintains or loses its original stats or abilities or mabye lose only some like the ability to fly?

How does this work exactly. I.e would a dragon in human form have human physical stats but maintain its normal mental? Can it still water breathe etc?

Greetings everyone.

As a great fan of all things draconic, I've decided on creating a Bronze dragon PC using the guideline presented in Draconomicon. Now I have what I want for his personality, habits and goals but the actual background story isn't my strong point. If anyone has any good background ideas that mesh in well with his personality, goals and the like I would greatly appreciate it.

Here are the details I have for my Juvenile Bronze so as to help with any ideas you may have.

-He spends much of its time in an assumed form, usually that of a well toned, athletic humanoid. This charade serves his adventurous nature by allowing him a chance to explore the world without drawing attention to himself or disrupting the flow of events. He values moral order, kindness, generosity and loyalty. He is always willing to help those in need.

-He enjoys the company of humans and other humanoids. Unlike other dragons he considers them to be just as deserving of survival and happiness as himself. When in the company of humanoids, he will usually assume his humanoid form, both as a practical matter and to keep the humanoids at ease.

-He loves to read and collect knowledge as is shown by his immense amount books and libraries within his lair.

-He is adventurous by nature, he enjoys travel and seeing the world and all its wonders.

-He can't stand the acts of evil and injustice.

-He is a believes in a swift death to evildoers, for he belives no one, no matter how evil deserves to suffer.

-When forced to fight he prefers up close for he loves the rush and thrill of close combat.

Now just a little problem in regards to his lair and treasure hoard for as he is a frequent traveler and adventurer and is rarely found within his lair it could very easily be robbed and pilaged. Should I have him set up traps and guards as I want him to be an adventurous dragon of whom is almost always on the move. What other ways could I get around this?

Greetings everyone.

I've read a fair amount on pathfinder dragons and from what it says they don't put much thought or emphisis into religion or worship (Though they do revere Aspu, few actually practice divine magic). Now this is understandable as they have immense power and arrogance.

However what if say a Bronze dragon(arguably the most humble)of whom hung out frequently with humanoids felt the desire to worship and follow a deity he believed suited his persona and ideals besides the obvious one being Aspu. I.e say his main desire in life was to snuff out evil where ever it may lie and protect the good from its malice, could he decide to worship Iomedae or Sarenrae?

Or say unlike most dragons he belived in living for the moment, travelling and having a good time. Could he prehaps be draw to Caydens views?

cheers.

Greetings everyone.

I have been pondering over introducing a half-dragon character to our PC group for a long time, not for the benfits the template grants but because I have always had a strange liking for draconic humanoids.

Now I want him to be a paladin type character that has made it his goal in life to purge out evil where ever it may lie.
I want him to be religious for I want him to have reason behind his goals and was thinking either iomedae or sarenrae for a deity as I believe they would be the best for a crusading character.

Now the problem I'm having is how I should go about his birth and raising as I'm sure many people would look up him with discust or fear. I was thinking of him being left upon the door step of the local church in which he would be raised with the right morals and hopefully feel accepted by the community. I'm sure the church of Sarenrae or Iomedae wouldn't discriminate him, well I hope at least.

Do you think this idea could work or if not what ideas would be good for having a half-dragon raised to become a crusader and also become accepted by humanity?

cheers.

Greetings

I've been looking upon things in regards to souls, solar angels and the like and from what I've read half-celestial can either be created by the union of a Solar and a human (Just human im not sure) or through powerful holy magic. It says it can either be inherited or acquired by any living creature.

This got me wondering on how a mortal could go about aquiring half-celestial status, if he didn't inherit it? Could he aquire it through some great deed or service to his god, or is their another way in which one goes on aquiring it?

cheers.

Greetings everyone.

I've been wondering if background wise you could have a PC cleric of whom had his/her bloodline blessed by celestal power through divine intervention. I.e Having a 3rd level Cleric of Sarenrae who has celestal resistance and heavenly fire abilities?

I.e could I have a say a Cleric of Sarenrae that gains the abilites of the celestal bloodline from the sorceror class in addition to the normal abilites a cleric of Sarenrae would gain? It will require some tweaking otherwise it may be a bit overpowered.

cheers.

Greetings everyone.

I was wondering as Golarion is a magic heavy world, with near infinate possibilites is it possible for humanoid races to bypass the physical limits of their bodies and possess physical powers beyond those we could never realistically achieve in the modern world from physical training alone?
I.e whether by training, magic or divinly gifts could say a Fighter become strong enough to match a Gorilla in strength or could a Human be able to out run a cheetah?

cheers.

Greetings everyone.

I have a new Cleric PC of whom worships Sarenrae and I am unsure as to when I gain a new level of spells do I gain all the spells that clerics of that level gain besides the wrongly aligned spells or only spells that suit the deity the caster worships? I havent found any rules against knowing all the rightly aligned spells but I want to make sure.

I.e could my PC for instance gain access to spells like Air Walk, Water breathing etc even though he is a Sarenrae worshipper and has the healing and sun domain?

cheers.

Greetings.

I am curious on the mechanics regarding magical healing and the requirements to use it.

For instance does the caster require strong knowledge of the human anatomy or of herbalism and medicine when magically healing an injury or even regenerating a lost limb. Also if yes would a divine caster need that knowledge as well, even though they channel their power through the gods?

Other things

Greetings

I'm just working on a Pathfinder PC's backstory and would like some opinions on what people think and what could be altered? He's a Half Elf of CG alignment who has an intense wanderlust and thrill for adventure.

Pharos’s birth was the result of an elven adventurer of whom shared a night of intimacy with a beautiful tavern girl. The father cowardly abandoned the girl upon knowledge of her pregnancy and knowing she would be unfit to care for a child by herself on her salary she decided to give her child up for adoption. It was to the couple Caroline and Peyton he was given to for they had always desired a child and due to infertility problems, adoption was the only option. The mother passed away only months after birth.

Pharos is a half elven born on the 12th Erastus 4671. Pharos was raised with the town of Carpenden where he grew up listening to the tales of travelling merchants soldiers and dreaming of exploration and adventure. He longed to see the world and of all the wonders it had to offer from the grand city of Absalom, the fabled centre of the world to even the perilous jungles of the Mwangi Expanse.

His parents supported him in his decision for as all Andorans they were believers in the ways of freedom, they did however advise him that the world beyond is wrought with perils and venturing within it unprepared would quickly lead to death. Having understood this he thus spent the majority of his youth in training, strengthening both his body and mind in preparation for his eventual departure of which he decided would be upon his 21st birthday. He was always a fan of swordplay and developed a strong proficiency with the scimitar, a sword in which he preferred due to its curved edge and quick slashing capabilities. He even delved into the lore’s of magic and though not near as proficient with them as he was with swordplay he highly enjoys the art and is always looking to further his own knowledge and skills.

It was thus upon the eve of Erastus the 12th, 4692 that he at long last bid far well to his beloved town and set off, promising to one day return and tell them of all he had seen and accomplished.

What do you think?, Is it abit to easy going, should I make it somehwat darker or change some details like his parents refusing to let him venture off and thus making him abit rebellious?

cheers.

Greetings everyone.

I have a PC that is an Andoran and I am having problems in regards to his background. I want him to be of a farming home of which he wishs to leave for he has great wanderlust and wishes to see the world. He is forced to escape for his parents had alread predetermined his life, that being to continue working for the farm when they were to old to carry on their agricultural business.

Now this was before I read Valeros's background and annoyingly its almost exactly the same to what I had planned. Now is there a way in which to rewrite Valeros's background so as I can use the background I originally planned. I just don't want their early history to be near replica's of each other.

Any advice?

cheers.

Greetings.

I've been reading the background of the iconics and was wondering as they all seem to be adventurers and common companions are they members of the pathfinder society or just normal adventurers?

cheers.

Greetings.

I'm a big fan of the paizo paperback mini's but one gripe I have is that they have mirrored sides. Now its minor of course but I was curious if any on the papermini packs have double sided ones available? I've only got the ROTR fortress of the stone giants so I don't know if all the sets are mirrored or if a couple may have double-sided?

cheers.

Greetings

I'am looking into the iconic pf characters namely Valeros, Seoni, Krya etc and I'm curious if there's any background on how they companions meet up and why they joined together. Also are there any details on their life whilst adventuring? This is purely background related because I was looking into introducing my Half-elf Pc to the group and want as much info as I can about them.

cheers.

Greetings.

I have a question regarding religion for a non-cleric characters. Is it possible to respect and worship multiple gods instead of devoting yourself to just one deity.

Also as a side question, where excatly do the gods reside? I know Asmodeus resides in Hell but what of the others?

cheers.
