About Petros the Bear-Slayer 1

A mighty barbarian touched by the divine, Petros left his home near the Mammoth Lands when his older brother became chieftain and he was left without a place in the tribal leadership. When he asked the village elder what he would do now, she pointed her hand south and simply said "Glory."

Petros is a six and a half feet tall, broad shouldered Aasimar man with a short curly beard and a long brown ponytail. His body is covered in black tribal tattoos and red war paint. True to his name, he wears a brown bear skin cape with the bear's head as a headdress. The bear headdress fits over his head, his face fits through the open bear mouth and the bear skin's front paws are tied around Petros' neck (like Hercules' lion skin but with a bear). There are two gold coins embedded in the eye sockets of the bear headdress. Under the bear skin, Petros' wears a simple armored leather tunic that descends just past his thigh and a pair of fur lined boots. Around his waist is a belt made from iron and leather with a snarling bear's head carved in to the buckle. Two large iron knives with handles made from deer antlers are tucked into his belt with two simple fur scabbards. He carries a tremendous wooden club that some one has carefully carved into the shape of a bear totem, giving Petros a connection to his spirit animal in battle.
