Hello Customer Service,
I recently changed my card, however the website will not change to the new card for subscriptions, it keeps defaulting to the old card. I get emails telling me there is a problem with the order when I can't reset the card information.
is this something that can be checked as I don't want to have to manually change the payment details for every order.
Also order # 5163980 that I received an email about doesn't appear on my account, so I can't manually change the payment details for this order anyway.
Thanks,
Peter.

I think APs are way too short. At the moment we two GMs who alternate between the APs. I also write and occasionally GM for a campaign that is currently on it's 16th year.
However I've read a lot of comments on this thread that say too short and a lot of comments on this thread that say too long. So, if I were Paizo, I would assume that the APs were just about the right length.
Personally I would like APs to run on slow advancement as well.

I think killing sleeping monks is an evil act in this case. I believe this was murder for personal gain. The PCs were promised 'the opportunity to gain "great powers over air and sky".' It appears the PCs were not carrying out the mission for their commitment to the rival order, but to increase their own power.

What I think is not overly relevant as I am not the GM in this case. Where I am the GM I allow the players to play their character and if there are alignment repercussions I let that fall as I see fit. If, despite alignment, the paladin was behaving according to code, repercussions would be minimal. If the paladin was not behaving according to code I would be designing the next part of the campaign to include an atonement quest where the paladin could explore the meaning of the code fully.

I also take the view that one evil act does not automatically result in a change of alignment. A pattern of behaviour does. I would look at this act in the context of the adventure and take into account the previous conduct of the PCs.

In the Pathfinder campaign where I play a paladin, my character would not even have taken the mission. Infiltrate and assassinate are contrary to his code, and he would have suggested other approaches first.

The final aspect to this is the game rules. The original post does not say what system is being played. Some rules have a very low tolerance of what constitutes an evil act. The 3rd edition Book of Vile Darkness included lying (sometimes), cheating, theft and greed in the list of evil acts. Therefore if the GM in this case thinks that killing the sleeping monks is an evil act, I wouldn't argue.

The discussion on this link doesn't make me feel old. What makes me feel old is talking about one of my first characters. DM got us to roll stats in order using 4d6 discard lowest. Roll for Charisma was 2,2,1,1. The PHB at the time said that my character could only be an assassin.

Became a half-orc, Charisma modifier of -2. I played a half-orc assassin with 3 Charisma for some years, until he lost 2 Charisma in an unfortunate accident. I then played a half-orc assassin with 1 Charisma.

First edition used to have rules that limited your choices. It certainly didn't limit the fun. I don't know if I can create a character under 4th edition that are remotely like those that were the most fun when I started playing the game. That makes me feel old.
