Penelope is looking a little dazed after she calms down, wondering why she is covered in bugbear blood. She recalls Bitty going down, but not much else...

Bitty... she asks,is your egg ok? Ah, it's ok... she breathes a sigh of relief.

I no longer have my healing powers, she says apologetically, looking at her bloodied hands, but I trust you're in good hands with Norbwald.

Figuratively killed me, she corrects Norbwald, demonstrating she has regain her composure, if it were literal you'd be dead. I have to take a stance for correct use of Taldan grammar here.

Couldn't resist :-P

Thanks a lot for running and for playing. This was a very good first PFS2e experience!

Got it, and it's looking good. Thanks a lot for running!

Penelope, your second attack will be affected by MAP, Multi-Attack Penalty. So that second attack will be at -5 for a 19. I'm only mentioning it because you're new to PF2.

That's really helpful, thanks. Also, you can cross off 'player forgets multi-attack penalty' from your bingo card.

Same as Branch Barker

Penelope rushes to the side of Bitty with complete disregard for her own safety For Taldor! she shouts in the least imaginative way possible before going berserk on Glorzia.

◆◆ Sudden charge (stride twice and swing)
◆ Attack

Attack, Magic Weapon, Rage: 1d20 + 7 + 1 ⇒ (15) + 7 + 1 = 232d12 + 4 + 2 + 1 ⇒ (2, 4) + 4 + 2 + 1 = 13
Attack, Magic Weapon, Rage: 1d20 + 7 + 1 ⇒ (16) + 7 + 1 = 242d12 + 4 + 2 + 1 ⇒ (10, 8) + 4 + 2 + 1 = 25

Penelope sees the scene unfold before her eyes, as if nailed to the ground. When bitty falls before she can even react, she growls This lady is not for eating!

She rumbles up the hilltop to close the gap.

2x 25 ft makes me fall just short of the opponent, so just a bit of enraged running around here

* Rage: enter rage (+2 Temp HP, -1 AC, +2 Atk, +1 Scariness)
* Interact: draw greatsword
* Stride

Did I miss something? How did you all get so close so fast?

I can try Penelope offers to scout ahead. Her clanky demeanour would make anyone wonder if she knows what she's doing.

Stealth: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (9) + 5 = 14 For scouting ahead/investigating the noises

She's not quite having her day, is she?

Tired but not the least bit embarrassed, Penelope return to the pen. Excellent effort, Josef, she nods, and adds the almost rythmical sentence you are most skilled in bushcraft and as well in matters religiose

While we seek your cubling, remain attentive to further escapes, Penelope states to Xila in a way that could easily be confused with instructing. After all, the price of captivity is eternal vigilance, she adds.

Bitty wrote:

"Egg!" Bitty's eyes go wide, and she pulls Egg out of her backpack and cradles Egg close. "Don't listen to her!"

Penelope takes a moment to process the situation, then concludes that the sylph is a few mushrooms short of a faerie ring, and decides not to push the issue. Beside, the sudden insistent appearance of a woodpecker is more urgent.

Begone, shoo! Penelope shouts in frustration as she gets harassed by the woodpecker. She runs alongside Branch to the clearing.

----

Onward! In typical Taldan style, Penelope sets out to run after one of the creature, no animal can match the Taldan physique

Athletics: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (2) + 7 = 9
Athletics, Taldan Heroes are the best: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (4) + 7 = 11

Which, of course, is inaccurate. Her second try involves stalking one of the creatures, jumping out from behind a tree...

Stealth: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (11) + 5 = 16

...which gets her closer...

With increasing levels of annoyance, she finally decides to call upon her knowledge of the wilderness

Survival: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (9) + 3 = 12

Did I get it right that we have all received a bonus hero point from the various glyphs that people bring to the table?

I have no plans beyond this game, this is just a testing the waters for me.

Penelope is a continuation of a PFS1 character. In PFS1, she was a proud paladin, but it looks like in the meantime something... changed her.

Norbwald is awesome , by the way...

A staunch woman with a jaded look and the jaded facial expression of someone who once led a different life walks in. She's carrying a strange mix of Taldan heraldy and woodland survival gear, along with a greatsword that once must have belonged to a holy warrior. She throws a puzzled at Norbwald, hesitates in a moment of apprehension, but then decides to introduce herself Penelope Tyaden she says, the fourth, with a heaviness that suggests the previous three fared a lot better.

Your have dedicated yourself to a noble cause, and bear the consequences she says, as if she knows what she's talking about.

Dinosaurs on the loose. Looks like it will be a hunt once more. Fortunately these are gentle creatures. She raises an eyebrow when she sees Bitty and her egg Baby dinosaurs? I would not presume these creatures are a match for the demons of the abyss, but baby dinosaurs may set you up with a deal of underestimation. Also, your egg... Penelope wonders if she really should be pointing out the obvious ... might get damaged if we get in a ruffle.

Penelope is all about self-sacrifice, so incurring the occasional splash damage just adds to her self-worth.

I'm just finalizing the build, and should have it up during the (Europe) evening. I anyone has recommendations for a character generator, I'd be keen to know. I'm trying out pathbuilder, but it doesn't have all the PFS options (e.g. legacy backgrounds), so I'll have to manually modify a lot of stuff.

Full disclosure: this is my first PFS2E game. Please bear with me as I make all the mistakes. 'Nwby bingo' cards are available on request.
