Silver Crusade

I think it would be fine to do so. Some spoilers for book 1 and potentially book 2, for why, so:

Book 1 and 2 spoilers:
Pretty much the entirety of book 1 is broadcast to at least Absalom Station, and other groups may have heard of some of the discoveries. That is in fact why the main antagonist of book 2 is there, so could give your players a recap of what happened and then have the Starfinder Society or another organization or something send them to follow up on the information and still run book 2 as written

Should be easy to make up the credits they would be missing from the loot if it makes more sense for your group. In the second book, it is established that they are effectively celebrities on Absalom Station, so they could get some quick endorsement deals or some such thing that would make up the credits. Or, you can have some sort of resolution to the dispute between the Hardscrabble Collective and Astral Extractions, and whichever wins could give a payout to the PCs since their investigations allowed their side to win.

I ran it with my PCs at 2, and they haven't had the easiest time with many of the other fights already (no deaths yet, but plenty of times 2 of the 4 have been unconscious). This fight ran a bit more smoothly. The tactics do not have it staying in melee combat 100% of the time, and it will also leave with a decent number of hit points left. It is a tough fight, but they made it through. Probably would have breezed through it pretty easily at level 3 given that a lot of classes get a decent bump in power at that level.

Finished the first book, and the pace seems fine so far. Maybe won't get as high level by the end, but in Pathfinder there seemed to sometimes just be slogs that felt XP grindy. I'd rather they just give hefty story XP rewards (coupled with increased treasure somewhere to keep the expected WBL) if they want to push books to a bit higher level in the future to keep a tighter story. Or just have the PCs start book 1 at a higher level.

Chalk pens work great, just like Steve has said. As for where to buy them, it looks like you can get them in the craft section of any store that would have one. I got mine at Walmart (I forget the exact price, but it was less than $5).

Once dry, it works just fine. Never smeared, smudged or wiped off during the battle or when folded and being transported to and from the game store. Wiped off with a dry paper towel just fine, no evidence it was ever there.

You do have to wait for it to dry, since it will smudge very easily when it is first applied (It looks and feels like wet paint), so you'll probably need to apply it ahead of time before you plan to use it.

Hi! I preordered most of the Starfinder products a few months ago when they first became available. Today, I subscribed to the 4 physical Starfinder subscriptions, and now I see two copies of everything in my sidecart. Is there a way I should have upgraded my preorders to subscriptions or do I need to cancel my preorder somehow? I would like to only receive one copy of each product.

As a side note, I have also selected GenCon pickup, in case this changes how any of this should work.

Thanks for your help!
