Paavo stands an average 5'10" and has a medium build. He wears his black hair brushed back behind his ears and has narrow gray eyes. Though in his early 20s, his skin is already starting to get leathery, thanks to exposure to alchemical works. Paavo usually wears his explorer's outfit, which allows him to collect and store reagents he comes across. Character Personality:
At his core, Paavo hates himself and wants deeply to change. He doesn't understand why he's never fit in with people and has come to the conclusion that there's something wrong with himself. This belief is the foundation of his pursuit of alchemy - it's through alchemy that he believes he change himself so that he can fix what's broken. In the meantime, he's withdrawn to the point where his issues have changed from a simmer to a boil. These violent and denied emotions now cloud both his alchemy and a lot of the remaining connections he has with people. Character Background: Paavo has spent his whole life in Sandpoint. His childhood was spent mainly isolated and spent most of his time studying things he came across while wandering on his own. And while this behavior persisted, it also allowed him to begin his research into alchemy - a practice he continues to this day, where he works in Sandpoint as an alchemist and healer. Of course, in his wanderings, he has come across more than just items of alchemical interest; he's often seen Shalelu Andosana on her journeys, and developed quite the crush on her.
