Why, that reminds me of a funny story about my Great-Uncle Reginald, told to me by my Aunt Walter, on a day very much like today. Great-Uncle Reginald was a barn owl, and was very unlucky. Why, once he got trapped inside holes in two different trees at once. (That's not directly related to this story, but it helps to illustrate how his life tended to be.) So, this one day, in early June... Or was it August? It was very warm that day one way or another.... |
