Nature Sense (ex)

A druid gains a +2 bonus on Knowledge (nature) and Survival checks.

Green Empathy (ex)

At 1st level, a treesinger can improve the attitude of a plant creature. This ability functions just like a Diplomacy check made to improve the attitude of a person. The treesinger rolls 1d20 and adds her druid level and her Charisma modifier to determine the wild empathy check result. The typical wild plant creature has a starting attitude of indifferent.
To use green empathy, the treesinger and the plant creature must be within 30 feet of one another under normal conditions. Generally, influencing a plant creature in this way takes 1 minute but, as with influencing people, it might take more or less time.
A treesinger can also use this ability to influence an animal, but she takes a –4 penalty on the check.
Woodland Stride (ex)

\Starting at 2nd level, a druid may move through any sort of undergrowth (such as natural thorns, briars, overgrown areas, and similar terrain) at her normal speed and without taking damage or suffering any other impairment. Thorns, briars, and overgrown areas that have been magically manipulated to impede motion, however, still affect her.

Trackless Step (ex)

Starting at 3rd level, a druid leaves no trail in natural surroundings and cannot be tracked. She may choose to leave a trail if so desired.

Resist Nature's Lure (ex)

Starting at 4th level, a druid gains a +4 bonus on saving throws against the spell-like and supernatural abilities of fey. This bonus also applies to spells and effects that target plants, such as blight, entangle, spike growth, and warp wood.

Wild Shape (Su)

At 4th level, a treesinger gains the ability to wild shape. This ability functions at her actual druid level. A treesinger cannot use wild shape to adopt an animal or elemental form. Instead, when she gains this ability at 4th level, she can assume the form of a Small or Medium plant. This functions as plant shape I, except the treesinger does not yet gain access to the constrict or poison abilities of the plant form assumed.

At 8th level, the treesinger's wild shape gains the full range of abilities available from plant shape I. At 10th level, a treesinger can assume the form of a Large or Tiny plant. Her wild shape ability now functions like plant shape II.

At 12th level, a treesinger can assume the form of a Huge plant. Her wild shape ability now functions like plant shape III.

Forlorn: Elves raised outside of elven communities—are accustomed to other races' brevity of life. Although they lose the opportunity to train in traditional elven arts, these elves pick up a bit of their adoptive parents' skills. They gain Skill Focus as a bonus feat. This racial trait replaces elven magic and weapon familiarity.

Elven Immunities: Elves are immune to magic sleep effects and gain a +2 racial saving throw bonus against enchantment spells and effects.

Description:
Otrov the Green has never been described as “healthy”. He never grew past looking frail. The hide armor he wears looks as if it was made for someone bigger than him. He does have height on his side, standing at 6'8” he managed to be taller than his family, despite never filling out. He has long brown hair that often has some kind of vine braided into it somewhere. His violet eyes always have a bit of a shadow under them, no matter how much rest he has gotten the night before. Not that he ever does get that much rest. Never far from his side is his animal companion, an ambulatory carnivorous flower named Zubi.

Personality:
Otrov isn't the most pleasant of people. He tries, he really does, but when it comes down to it he is just not that nice. He cares more about plants and making sure they are healthy than he does about most people. He has a bit of an interest in the planes as well, but hasn't really had a chance to study them. He tends to not make many connections because of his nomadic lifestyle, that being said he calls people friends very easily, he just doesn't put much stock into friendship. His faith isn't of terrible import to him, but he does pay homage to Calistria when the time calls. He is very fond of Zubi, even when the rambunctious little flower decides that a passer-by's hand looks tasty.

Back Story:
Otrov the Green started out with a completely different name. A name that died along with his family, but that comes later. He was born in a small village made up almost entirely of cousins and other distant relatives. They all kept a fairly close eye on the sickly child, hoping that he would grow out of it and become a ranger like the rest of his family. Unfortunately his health had other ideas for him. He stayed sickly, but his family still taught him about nature and the magic of the world. He shied away from animals, they were too wild for his liking, they made no sense to him.

It was the dead of winter when the nearby hag coven attacked. They had taken control of a local tribe of werewolves and used their combined forces to take out the village. Otrov and his two aunts were the only ones to escape to his knowledge. They escaped to the Shackles where the aunts found mercenary work to save money to get to their family on the other side of the Mwangi Expanse. One of his aunts died in the process which was what told the remaining two that they needed to leave immediately.

They traveled along the northern edge of the Mwangi Expanse, staying in the jungle enough to not be spotted by travelers along the outskirts, but not deep enough to be attacked by the jungle dwellers. One night Otrov got separated from his aunt, and that was when he met Zubi. Zubi's initial idea was to eat Otrov, but the young druid managed to convince it otherwise. They parted happily, but kept running into each other as Otrov and his aunt continued through the jungle. Eventually Zubi just joined the two elves as they continued on their travels.

His aunt and him found themselves finally in Katapesh, only to find out that their family there had moved on and no one in town knew where to find them. Rather than be discouraged though, he and his aunt joined the first shipping company they could find and used it to travel the world. She took it upon herself to teach young Otrov how to be better in tuned with nature. She also was the one to tell him to take a new name. Names have power, she taught him, and telling someone your name gives them power over you. During their time with the shipping companies Otrov learned a lot about power and what it can do for a person.

The two of them were pretty successful as caravan hands, but when it came time to depart one day, the captain of the shipping company told them to leave. Otrov was confused, but his aunt just had a look of grim determination. He thought they were going to just go find another city to get work in, but when his aunt led him through the night back to the shipping company and gave him orders to set strategic fires, he followed them. She slunk into the night and after a few minutes she found Otrov again and the two of them did set out, the light of the burning caravan guiding them through the night.

His aunt and him found their way to Osirion. Zubi struggled in the desert, but his aunt's survival skills kept the flower alive. They found the Sphinx river and followed it up to Sothis where they boarded with a ship headed to Taldor. While there his aunt fell ill. She recovered, but it took a permanent toll on her health. Otrov watched her die at the hands of a group of undead as she bought him time to leave. Ever since the young druid has been alone. He traveled across the continent for some time, before finding peace again. When he actually found it in him to care again he was in Galt.

The rest of his time has been spent traveling across the world. Just visiting new places, meeting new people and doing what he can to increase his own power. He has a constant companion in Zubi and the two of them make a formidable team. His last shipping job was on a ship headed to Goka. They were going to make a return trip, but after a rough interaction with one of his fellow crew mates he decided to take his pay and move on with his life in Goka.
