As for an invitation.......he made his way to Brevoy, as former-slave Chelish halflings are wont to do...

We are indeed, aren't we?

Ugh. I'm incredibly sorry about any lack of progress.

Sorry I'm taking so long. Obi is just in need of traits and gear now.

I could be another Charter holder sent in late.

Level and how much wealth he has are really all I need. Perhaps a brief summary of current events in-game.

Maybe we should message our Paladin friend?

What changes will I need to make to this shy little Halfling? What is the party make up? Heck, if I can use words of power(ultimate magic) with Crossblooded I can be a great blaster, if not so great at utility.

any hits on recruiting from people anyone knows?

I guess that depends on what you'd consider a 'hit'...

I'm going to bow out. I don't have any equipment but a dagger in my profile. :/

Looking at the other possible characters, I really hope Obi gets picked to play.

Even a nice gnoll will be avoided by Obi. He's shy around bigger folk, and if you add in a bunch of fangs... Yeah, this could be fun. :}

How is Starting Gold being determined?

4d6 ⇒ (1, 4, 4, 6) = 15 14
4d6 ⇒ (4, 6, 5, 5) = 20 16
4d6 ⇒ (5, 3, 5, 3) = 16 13
4d6 ⇒ (4, 4, 1, 6) = 15 14
4d6 ⇒ (2, 5, 6, 6) = 19 17
4d6 ⇒ (6, 3, 2, 4) = 15 13
4d6 ⇒ (4, 1, 1, 3) = 9 8

Str 11(13-2), Dex 18(16+2), Con 14, Int 14, Wis 13, Cha 19(17+2)

Except for changing all the stuff that works off ability scores, Obi is ready for review. :)

Congrats people!

I'm the minimum height and weight for a full-grown halfling male. I think he could pick me up.

If we both get picked, I'm going to get picked up in it's jaws by the collar, aren't I? -_-

As if worrying the gnoll was going to eat me wasn't bad enough, now I might have to to worry about a giant lizard with a bunch of sharp teeth...
Have you considered the Allosaurus? It's like an oversized raptor later! :)

Man, if I manage to get into this game, I'm not going to know [i]wha/i] to think of you guys.

Awesome!

Yay, I helped!

...

*ducks out of veiw*

Or, if you both play ifrits, you could weave your backgrounds together. Rivlas? Siblings? Something else that's appopriate? Just suggestions. :)

Thanks, Obi. I try to make characters that go against type and have enough twists and turns to their personality that they'll be fun to play over the long haul.

I've done that before. Only one I ever played was a Half-Orc Wizard in Neverwinter Nights. This was still in 3.5 when Half-Orcs had a -2 Int, so the people on my PVP team probably didn't like me too much. :)

Obi is kind of the same. Who expects a sorcerer to act the way he does? I've played him in a Kingmaker game, and he started off really shy and easily scared. He was afraid to make anyone even the tiniest bit upset, but he eventually came out of his shell.

Shaggar is one interesting gnoll.

Well, the stats for my painfully shy halfling are done, and the background has been changed a bit to fit the campaign. Let me know if anything needs to be changed.

I'd like to submit this half link sorcerer, with just a few minor changes to his background to fit the campaign.

5d6 ⇒ (2, 2, 2, 3, 2) = 11 = 7
5d6 ⇒ (3, 1, 6, 3, 5) = 18 = 14
5d6 ⇒ (3, 4, 3, 1, 3) = 14 = 10
5d6 ⇒ (1, 2, 1, 4, 2) = 10 = 8
5d6 ⇒ (6, 4, 6, 5, 2) = 23 = 17
5d6 ⇒ (2, 2, 3, 5, 5) = 17 = 13

Obi stands just to the left of Eadric, ready to throw his fiery weight around.

Conjuring another ball of flame, Obi hopes to more than graze the Stag Lord this times.

Fire Bolt: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (20) + 5 = 25
Damage: 1d6 ⇒ 6

Confrim Crit: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (19) + 5 = 24
Damage: 1d6 ⇒ 4

We're having venison tonight!

After standing strong against the Stag Lord for so long, I would feel sorry for Eadric if some random charmed bandit killed the Stag Lord. Here's hoping a 14 doesn't confirm.

Abi as a character just wants to get out of here alive though.

Everyone:
Depending on whether we get shackled or not, Obi will either A)freak out and burn the place down, or B) carefully burn a way to freedom.

Really? Where?[/joke]

Drop your sword(free action), don't sheath it. You have a gauntlet, so you wouldn't be unarmed if you tried to attack, and your AC would stay the same.

Also, you seem to be assuming that after you fall, the rest of the bandits will still attack you. Considering that Ellaria, Torod, and I are much more immediate threats... They would have to be pretty dumb bandits.

I will just say this: swift actions don't provoke.

If you take 1~6 points of damage and fall unconscious, I'm going to laugh.

Do you have any uses of Lay on Hands left? You could heal yourself as a swift action!

Obi runs toward Eadric and the Staglord 20ft and throws a ball of fire at the Staglord.

Fire Bolt(ranged touch):1d20 + 5 ⇒ (12) + 5 = 17
Fire Damage:1d6 ⇒ 1

KK:
They will probably be out for awhile, depending on their hit dice. So, in the hope we don't have to deal with them right away, I'm heading downstairs.

KK:
Considering the rush of actions, I'm okay with this. Obi's going to try and help.

Lack of an updated map isn't helping...

Obi quickly throws more colored flame at the bandits in front of him, hoping to catch them off-guard, before moving to go back downstairs.

Casting color spray(Dc14), and then taking a move action to geet away.

Are they bandits I tried to color spray still near me or did the join the Staglord downstairs?

KK:
Both actually, if I can.

Rushing through the spell and praying it works, Obi sends a surge of colored fire at the archers.

Casting color spray, which makes the invisibility go away. Dc14 Will save.

Despite his common sense and usual courage, Obi begins to make his way upstairs, chanting softly to cover his invisible self in protective and equally invisible flame.

Heading upstairs.

Stealth:1d20 + 10 ⇒ (11) + 10 = 21 Extra +20 if the Invisibility Potion is till in effect. If it is, Obi will also move closer to the owlbear.

If you're talking about the owlbear, apparently some other bandits opened it's cage while I was offline. It's what my spoiler says.

Perception:1d20 + 3 ⇒ (19) + 3 = 22
Hmm... I'll stay where I am for right now.

Okay, since both maps have yet to be updated, how many bandits are still in front of the gate where the elemental was?

I think the guy I was following is in P-15, but he was heading downstairs last I heard about him.

With the helpful little "Campaigns" tab, all I have to do to check is hit F5! ;)

Initiative:1d20 + 5 ⇒ (5) + 5 = 10

Obi leaves his hiding place and follows the big man he saw earlier, staying far enough away(he hopes) to get back to his hiding spot if he doesn't have to help.

With the fight clearly over, no hard feelings from the bandits toward Eadric, and the potion wearing off, Obi hunkers down in his hiding spot and hopes he won't get caught.

Stealth after Invisibility is gone:1d20 + 10 ⇒ (20) + 10 = 30
If I can take 20 instead, I'll do it. EDIT: Never mind.

KK:
Obi casts shield of faith on himself and waits for the moemnet he thinks is right to set the fort ablaze.

"And he wonders why Imiria thinks of him the way she does." Obi thinks as he watches from his hiding spot. "Should probably set the fort on fire soon..."

This is, of course, assuming I can see Eadric and the card players from where I am, otherwise I'm just hearing him.
