Before anyone says "Don't apply real world physics to a fantasy setting!" I'm not even talking about vacuum of space vs atmospheric flight or ships, this is a rant about vessel movement without ground for friction.

Read the mechanics of combat. None of the pilot tricks take the idea that you don't have to apply thrust in a direction your already moving to keep going that direction. A wrecked engine is still functional enough the pilot can make a piloting check of some sort. Turn in place stops you dead in your tracks, flip and burn requires you to move back the other direction, slide only works forward-port and forward-starboard, and movement "is in a straight line in the direction the starship is facing."

Also, there's no accidental collisions if i read this correctly. Really? a RAW with no accidental collisions? Just rip a story bit out of the hands of a GM why don't ya?

Watch for it. We're currently taking a homerun setting that had two eras and making a third era appropriate for Starfinder. There's a lot of "what happened to who" questions we're working on answers for and polish work to do. Also, we're finally more than one guy fighting with character sheets, world details and resisting the urge to just run in golarion because it's awesome.

Surprised I haven't seen anything about it on paizo's boards, even after a search. They're funded, but at 16 days they're still a little shy of their file storage/attachment stretch goal.

If anyone else is running linux here's what I've discovered.

Okular (KDE's PDF Reader) Still doesn't support the image boxes.
Adobe Acrobat Reader 9.7 is the current Acroread for Linux. It DOES support the image boxes.
AAR 9.7 Is really ugly in KDE.

I mentioned this in a discussion thread and my blog a while back... but if Paizo has a problem with this they can still make note in this thread.

One of the reasons I didn't participate this year is because I was working on a worksheet for organizations to sell with my character, settlement, and realm sheets. There were other reasons, including a major move from city to city and fulltime job to fulltime job... but I felt that my project would be a bad thing to mix with the contest.

I did however, ask if it was alright to offer the sheet in its unedited stage to the contestants. Paizo did not respond, so I'm going to offer it publicly.

So provided there is no problem with it (which paizo can state here), and you are willing to look at the worksheet, please email me at noble (dot) hays (at) gmail (dot) com. I'll send you the sheet in its current state and some a little list of questions I'd like you to answer after looking at it.

Those who ask for it (from the top 32) and provide feedback will get a copy of the finished product for free and a "Thanks To" line in the front page. (Unlike the other three worksheets, this one also comes with a little mini-guide/rambling about usage, suggestions).

I built a PDF Expanded Settlement Sheet a while back (but never posted it) I'm trying to get away from the fillable pdf's because they get a)huge, and b)clunky. But I've also been using Obsidian Portal a lot lately and because of that I built a template for PFRPG Settlements based on that sheet.

What would people want added to a "Deluxe" sheet, I'm looking into building one to go along with my Community Use character sheet.

I'm also building a "Realm Reference Booklet" for publish as a Pathfinder Compatible Product, which is up to 26 pages right now, so keep this a "Sheet" discussion... My character sheet is four "pages" so lets not get any bigger than that.

Roleplaying, Miniature Wargames, Console, or Computer, or whatever... you know your gonna be there all day( or night) and you don't want grabbing food to take too much time away. So what do you bring with you? If you do take a break for a meal, what do you typically get?

This can be at home gaming, or in the shop gaming...

I've used some of the 1on1s in my games, and I'm ready to see some more... I hope this one's good...
