Well, looks like the wife and I both have coronavirus. I’m currently using most of my energy to do stuff with the kids. Not sure when I will get back to posting regularly. Nothing serious right now, just worn out.

Nosh inches forward, as though he doesn't trust that the combat is over. He's far enough away that he can't tell if Hallod is actually dead, so he says, "So is he dead? We're safe?"

Assuming an affirmative, Nosh takes a moment to cast Detect Magic and checks to see if anything in the room is magical. FYI it only lets me know that there is something within 30 ft, no specifics on location or quantity.

I think the Int gets added in at 3rd level because its not explicit until Heightened (3rd).

The criticals help, ho boy. This sure feels brutal!

I didn't realize I was going to be this crap on damage. I feel like I'm not helping hardly at all. It might just be my spell choice. This is my first prepared caster so I'm having to adjust to that.

All in all, I think I like 2E so far.

OK, my understanding was that the persistent damage was the only bonus on a critical, so that sounds great!

Nosh makes some familiar movements with his arms as he prepares an Acid splash, but it takes a little longer than normal for the glob of acid to shoot from Nosh's finger. It seems a little faster and brighter to those watching and goes farther

Zurkha is moved, please advise if that movement was incorrect.

Nosh moves into the mouth of the cavern, standing against the wall. He mutters some words opening his arms and, winding them up once in mirror movements, he gestures with both open-palmed hands at Hallod and the wind follows his hands and Gusts at him, carrying any of the smaller or lighter boxes and barrels with it. Hoping for a little bit of bonus damage possible because of all the debris that might get picked up along the way.

DC 17 Fort save:
Critical Success The creature is unaffected.

Success The creature can’t move against the wind.

Failure The creature is knocked prone. If it was flying, it suffers the effects of critical failure instead.

Critical Failure The creature is pushed 30 feet in the wind’s direction, knocked prone, and takes 2d6 bludgeoning damage.

I gotcha, Zurkha is moved. I count 25 ft of movement as long as nothing special has to happen to move through allies and every other diagonal is double. I'm not up on the movement rules for PF2.

Nosh waits for Galen to move forward and then moves into the cavern, points his finger at the giant snake and a sickly yellow bolt of energy streaks towards it. The goal is to stay out of the Melee reach of the snake which I assume is 10 ft.

Nosh turns around at Laurel's comment and sees all the others gathered around the latrine, Findlaine and Zurkha's obvious distaste and goes over to take a look. Nosh pokes his head into the chamber and says, "What's the problem?" and goes in, rooting around for anything of interest.

Nosh, busy with the main room, ignores most of the items, but grabs the money. When he sees the locked box, he sighs, pulling out his thieves tools and looks dejectedly at the broken tools. He tries to lift it, but the heavy box is pretty big. He looks up and says to Zurkha, "Can you open up this? I can't open this lock, but you might be able to break it open."

Nosh, confident at having handled the trap upstairs, gets his tools out to deal with the lock. Its not that hard of a lock and he can easily get past it...he thinks. After his first attempt, he shrugs and mumbles, "Bad lighting is all. Shouldn't be this hard." After the 3rd and 4th try, he is muttering curses under his breath and sneaking nervous glances at his companions and his hands start to shake. By the end, he is just jamming his tools into the lock wildly in frustration and the end breaks off in the lock and he just slumps in defeat.

Nosh, in his fear, flings another blob of acid at the most active wolf, unaware of if it is even a threat anymore, but he doesn't even manage to hit one of the bodies in front of them.

Is there any special negative for rolling a 1 on an attack roll? I can't find any general rules on critical successes and failures. If someone has a link, I would appreciate it.

Hey, just out of curiosity, how close are we to level 2? In a general sense? Half way, pretty close? Long ways to go? Just wanted to get a feel for how we are doing.

Spurred by curiosity at what Zurkha has mentioned, Nosh says, "Sure, I can take a look. This guy sure seems pretty cagey to be trapping this dump." Nosh moves forward to see if he can find some way of wedging something into place to stop the trap or something else that would be simple. If it looks too hard, he will check out the wall on the exterior wall beside the hatch to see if it is load bearing.

Nosh wants to see how hard it is going to be before he gives it a try. Not sure how that would work. Option number 2 is breaking through the wall by the hatch from the outside and bypassing the trap altogether but I don't want the whole house coming down.

Nosh jumps a bit when the lock clicks and the door comes slightly ajar. He looks at Zurkha and shrugs in a questioning way.

Wow, I hadn't even realized the secret trait was there...

Nosh stiffens up with Zurkha's encouragement and leads him around the house to the back. Looking at the back of the house, at the windows and walls, he tells Zurkha, "I've found a secret entrance to the house, but its locked." Nosh looks sheepishly at Zurkha and says, "I might be able to get it open, should I give it a try?"

If Zurkha gives the affirmative.:

As they come upon the house, Nosh thinks more and more about the confrontation to come, becoming more and more nervous the longer it takes to get to the house. He's become a mess by the time they get to the house and when Phinnick points at the tree house, he squeaks in fear and hides behind Zurkha. "He chops off ears! I'll go around the back and look to see if there is a back door."

Nosh slinks off around the house.

What kind of rolls do you want to roll in secret? I don't mind, I just want to know so I don't roll a bunch of extraneous rolls. Nosh has a +5 for stealth BTW.
