there is nothing you need to do different since that is the nature of the scenario. actually its the theme for most of the newer scenarios that I have seen.

I really enjoyed the older season 0 1 nd 2 stuff. they felt way more traditional D&D like and less lore dumps.

seems like many of the newer stuff has been a means for the writers to flaunt this in depth lore they created as opposed to traditional dungeon crawling, save the town type stuff.

I built this character way back in the early days of pathfinder society and then moved into skull and shackles AP with her. but when that game started to die I moved on.

I pulled this character off the shelf to play again for this adventure but as it moves on I am finding it totally unsuited for any combat oriented characters.

much of my newer society stuff ahs been mostly adventure paths and a lot of Emerald spire having both played and GM's the entire thing for society play.

Seeing the demon thing up in the air, We asked nice like, but you went all stupid, guess its time ya pay the price then.

Noro's dragon tattoo comes to life as a pair of dragon wing emerge from her and she takes off toward the devil.

her eyes get red as she moves in. giving a roar similar to that of a dragon

she flies toward the devil entering rage. As she approaches she has her intimidating glare

A shorter human woman enters, she is half Tien and half Varisian, clad in a sea captain's coat over a simple shirt and trousers. she seems to carry no weapons, not even a sword can be seen. she wears a tricorn hat but the sides have been pulled down to eliminate the tricorn look.

started to re-read things, I think I was reading the stat list backwards. that is current HP then. so all is better now I was really worried for a bit.

with a chasm below, and an enemy in the air, I am not gonna go away all that easily.

I don't think I will get any real movement. move to get up from prone and standard to activate tattoo and haste effect I think she can at least hover slightly off the icy surface

lets start with the reflex saves (may not need the fort if the dice gods are their usual for me)

reflex DC 18: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (11) + 5 = 16 = fail

here is how I figured out my guess for the answer:

the clue about the space between the notes was the key, I counted the space between the fingers but only spaces that had a finger on each side this will give the following:

1 = 0
2 = 1
3 = 2
4 = 3
5 = 4

then added that up for each one.

Noro moves to get a look, Mind if I take a gander. My father used to test us when we were young with various mind games. I never cared for them much, since my brother would always get the answer first.

as she takes a look, in any event I got pretty good.

after a few seconds, the third one equals 3, the next one equals 1, and the last one equals 5. I think. but I don't have a clue on the stick except if its to write the answer.

as for diplomacy, well lets leave much of that to some of you folks, I have other means of getting my point across and it usually involves violence of some sort, which I would gather is not the best choice of action. At least initially.

Noro was about to respond to the Venture Captain, but decided to say nothing concerning her piracy ties.

So, in short, go to this Stronghold, shake things up a bit, keep the alliance in tact, and if anything goes wrong, ya got a pirate to blame.

Arriving late and a bit battle scarred, a ship pulls into the harbor of Manaket.

It flies the black flag of the Pirate Council of The Shackles, and below that the flag of Truce.

The ship, "The Malevolent Grace" weighs anchor in the harbor and soon the Captain, and some crew come ashore in a longboat.

The Captain gives a few commands to her crew before proceeding to the designated meeting.

Soon Captain, Noro arrives at the Swordmeet lodge, she makes her way to the rest of the group.
