Please discontinue my subscription to the Adventure Paths for the time being.

Thank you,

Shadow Lodge

I would like to remove two items from my sidecart.

• Townsfolk: Mom & Kids
• Townsfolk: Grandmother

I cannot figure out how to do it myself, I'm afraid.

Thank you

• Shadow Lodge

A player in my Wrath of the Righteous campaign would like to get a Staff of Eldritch Sovereignty. I thought it would be interesting to chart it out as a legendary item, which he would complete at Tier 10.

I'm looking for advice on how to go through the upgrading process to put some of the more awesome spells and mythic abilities into the staff, as in which things should be major artifact legendary item boons, minor, etc?

Any suggestions?

I need to remove the Skulls and Shackles Pawn collection from this order, if possible. The pawn collection is in my sideboard, and it has been indicated that it will ship with this order.

Thank you,
James

Unfortunately, the product is on back-order, and I need it sooner rather than later.

Thanks,
James

I have an ongoing subscription to the pathfinder adventure path. I would like to end that (and only that) subscription.

Thank you,
James

Yesterday I placed order #1356627 and today I placed order #1357700. I would like to combine the two orders into a single order, and remove one of the items: "Varashia, Vale Archer Sergeant".

Thank you,
James

The gaming group that I play with has decided to start offering some Pathfinder Society adventures. Our first will be on June 4th, when we'll be running Pathfinder #4: The Frozen Fingers of Midnight.

We do our event sign up through warhorn: http://www.warhorn.org/GamesAndStuffLFR/.

While we primarily do LFR stuff, we're branching out, and everyone is welcome.

Shadow Lodge

It contains an order for
Full Metal Fantasy: Lanyssa Nyss, Sorceress
And I do not need the specific mini anymore.

Thank you.

I have a pathfinder subscription with my credit card on it. I recently got a new expiration date on the card, but I can't seem to update the subscription to use the new card.
It's the only one in there, now, but for some reason I can't get it to change. Please help!

Shadow Lodge

I keep getting emails about the shipment of my Pathfinder modules, because the credit card information is incorrect. The card of record has expired, and I submitted a new one, but I can't seem to change the associated credit card.

Shadow Lodge

If it is possible, I would like order #1037179 to ship with my next monthly subscription shipment.

Shadow Lodge

Please remove the Pathfinder campaign setting from my upcoming order - it's pending as a part of my Chronicles subscription.

I would like to keep the subscription itself, but I do not want the campaign setting.

Thank you.

Shadow Lodge

I would like to have my Pathfinder Chronicles subscription canceled. Also, I do not want to have the campaign setting shipped to me (but I would like the map folio, please).

Thank you

Hello everybody!

I wanted to make a quick post about the Pathfinder to 4e conversion site I'm writing up. The site is Dungeon Monkey's conversion wiki.

The website is kind of a thought-experiment for me, since I don't have a 4e group to DM for right now (my group passive-aggressively resists a 4e switch).

Anyway, comments and suggestions are welcome. I hope that this is allowed; if there's a problem, let me know.

Shadow Lodge

I would like to cancel some of my subscriptions:

• Game Mastery Modules
• Pathfinder Companion

but I'd like to keep the rest.

Thank you!

My campaign has finally ended, after about 18 months of battling the Age of Worms.

During the final battle, the Risen Martyr of the Silver Flame sacrificed himself to defeat Kyuss in an epic battle.

Fun was had by all! Huzzah!

Just a quick question for those who've gotten to / past this adventure:
What did your PCs do with the Book of Vile Darkness? Mine decided to take it (with the intent of destroying it). I think I did a pretty good job of imparting how powerfully evil it was.
Any suggestions on possibilities for destroying this instance of the BoVD?

I thought I'd share how Kongen-Thulnir is shaping up in my Eberron campaign. Tilagos was located in the Bitter Sea, north of Karrnath, and Kongen-Thulnir is/was hidden in the cliffs of the Gorodra Gap in the Mhor Holds.

Kongen-Thulnir was a colony of the Giant's empire in Xen'drik so many eons ago. When Xen'drik was shattered, the colony was cut off from help against the various regional problems. The city prevailed, but the limited population of giants brought an increased dependence on Warforged. When the last mortal ruler was deposed 2,500 years ago, the warforged began to rule themselves.

The giants of Kongen-Thulnir are Large and Huge sized Warforged. These warforged are different from the standard warforged, because they are larger, lack the branding symbol of House Cannith, and take real names, not the general action-verb name. Game effect: None, I'm going to use the standard Giant stats for them. Perhaps give them 25% fortification? These giants are much more LN and TN.

Kranathanos, the mad titan, it turns out, was a despotic ruler of Kongen-Thulnir for a long while, until the druids freed the city from him.

The PCs arrived at Kongen-Thulnir before the dragons, and so had some time to wander around and talk with the residents. The city consists of the warforged giant nobility, and medium sized warforged (some of which have House Cannith brands, but not all) and a large, varied selection of mortals. The same ritual that protects the city (including from teleport/dimensional travel in) has the subtle effect of finding people throughout the world who'd like it in Kongen-Thulnir and drawing them there.

Kongen-Thulnir contains a working (although not fully) Creation Forge. Warforged regularly get upgrades. Although the cost is great, a new Warforged can be created. Since it's so expensive, generally it's used for other purposes. With sufficient success, a Warforged can be reconstructed into a larger body, working its way up the ladder (somewhat meritocratic). Reconstruction can optionally erase a personality (essentially, a death penalty). During times of crisis (say, an invasion of dragons) the warforged can go into the forge and get large (temporary) bonuses. These include flight, improved ability to attack, special weapon properties (dragonbane, for instance). Mortal generally believe that the personality erasure is necessary/unavoidable when getting reconstructed-one mortal told the PCs about it and now the warforged barbarian is scared of that. (the WF barb being scared of things is kind of a running joke in my campaign).

After the PCs met with Achaime Silvereye and convinced him to provide them information about the druid's unspecified treasure, the dragons arrived. That was the end of the session.

Ideally, I'd like the PC warforged to find out he was given incorrect information and go in for a boost in the coming battle. I'd like to have a combat inside the forge.

IMC: One of the Giant words for the creatures known as Warforged is Warchild.

My party is playing through the Library of Last Resort.
They have accomplished three of the four goals (The Belt, The Doomshroud, and The Thornvale Nightmare). Filge (Darl Quenthos) has accomplished three as well (The Doomshroud, the Thornvale Nightmare, and the Living Feather (his group followed behind the PCs and raised the Doomshroud and Thornvale Nightmare, only to immediately kill them again)).
When the PCs went after Filge, his defense-in-depth forced them to retreat. They used Planeshift to flee back to Tilagos.
My question is, at this point Filge would approach the Druids and claim that the PCs had forfeited by leaving the Isle, but since they took the belt the fourth test would have to be changed or disregarded (the latter, preferably). The druids wouldn't be too keen on that, particularly the one (I can't remember his name) who doesn't like to share.
What do you think they would do? What should I do?

My campaign just got through The Prince of Redhand, and I wanted to compliment Mr. Pett on the adventure. Before reading (and, finally! running) the adventure, I didn't have any real idea of how to do a primarily social adventure. Thank you!

Shadow Lodge

My PCs stayed at the Duluxury. When they heard it was a casino, the party's rogue/faceman (such as he is) decided to gamble. They would have spent the entire time gambling if I hadn't decided that the high-rollers had left. Anyone else have this problem?

Shadow Lodge

I have linked on my PC's (Suspiria) backstory into the Prince of Redhand. Redhand is located in the Lhazaar Principalities, a loose federation of independent city-states on the Eastern coast of Khorvaire. On her own, the player mentioned that her mother came from the Lhazaar Principalities. I just narrowed it down to Redhand.
Manzorian had enlisted the aid of two individuals who have been to Redhand to provide perspective for the party before they go there.
Princess Talulla ir'Vendyre, now Margil Talandro - Thunder Guide and adventurer, mother of Suspiria, provides some historical background:
"My part in this story begins roughly 25 years ago. Back then, I was the Princess of Redhand, daughter of the Queen and her Prince. Redhand was a thriving, prosperous state, and Alhaster was the jewel in its crown. For political reasons, I was engaged to an up and coming noble named Lord Zeech - a paladin of Dol Arrah and the Captain of Alhaster's police force.
"Unfortunately, that was when the cult arrived in town. They called themselves The Ebon Triad. Their beliefs, while a bizarre mixing of The Cult of the Dragon Below, the radicalized elements of the Blood of Vol and the necromancers of the Keeper, were no less fervent than Zeech's dedication. In fact, their zeal was considerably stronger.
"We waged a war against the triad for several years - their tenacity relentless and their numbers unending. I am sad to say that, as the war continued, I saw Zeech's descent into evil and did nothing. It was vital that we defeat the cultists, and Zeech was on the front lines of the conflict. Every cultist captured refused to break under questioning, and Zeech's methods grew more extreme. His faith in the fair and honorable Dol Arrah faltered, and he began to follow the Mockery-a belief system somewhat more inline with his view of the struggle.
"With my father's blessing, Zeech hired a sorceress named Lashonna to aid in the conflict. Her magic and Zeech's .... methods began to turn the tide. Fanatical cultists were broken and the war began to turn. Soon, our police had the Cult on the run. Alas, when their last, major temple was raided, Zeech's men found evidence of my father's involvement in the cult.
"The men doing the investigation, who found the evidence, were men of impeccable character-the absolute best inquisitives on the force. That they were the ones who just happened to be on duty at the time, for such an important discovery, leads me to believe that the evidence was manufactured. One last desperate gamble by the cult? A power grab by Zeech?
"Regardless, knowledge of the discovery leaked out within hours. Riots in the streets, anger everywhere. Zeech marched on the Queen's castle and arrested the entire royal family. My father and mother were given 'trials' but the outcome was never in doubt. The populace, fearful and angry, demanded vengeance for all they'd lost.
"Zeech approached me, where I was being held, awaiting my trial. He told me that, because of what we once had, he didn't want me to die, which I surely faced at trial. He would have me smuggled out of the city and attribute my 'suicide' to grief over my parent's death. Afraid to die for nothing and being of no use to my city, I accepted. Zeech's condition was that I never return to the city.
"After I left, I changed my name and began building a new life. Zeech took the title of Prince and rules my former city with Lashonna as his adviser, and, if the rumors are true, lover."

Zahid Basir, Sentinal Marshall and Paladin of the Silver Flame (and Suspiria's father) will provide a more contemporary summary (in a future post).

Suggestions?

So, my players finished the 6th adventure (A Gathering of Winds) in a rather sad manner. Here's the way things happened:
1) Flycatcher kidnapped the Wiz/Druid's animal companion (a dog) and got them to go after Moreto.
2) Eventually, they made it to Moreto, who offered to give them the seal in exchange for killing Flycatcher, but they ticked him off to the point he fought them (and died).
3) They return the seal in exchange for the dog, but immediately attack Flycatcher. One PC stormed off, offended by their backstabbing of Flycatcher. Flycatcher, having been hit with a Ray of Enfeeblement, retreated to get some help.
4) The wiz/druid grabbed the Seal of Law (summoning an Elder Air Elemental - they had already dealt with the other summonings and knew something was coming). The Air Elemental was causing some serious problems when Elder Black Pudding that Flycatcher 'recruited' came after them.
5) Panic, fleeing, and other sad displays of not-heroism ensued. Not much in the way of hilarity, though.

Eventually, they fled, but are terrified of returning - and they haven't found the True Tomb. Because of the fights they skipped, and not finishing the Tomb, they are behind in XP and magic. I'm leery of sending them onto the Spire of Long Shadows as they are.

So, my question is, what should I do? Have Manzorian be 'otherwise occupied' until they take some of the side quests? Wait until the one PC who believes there is important stuff in the stairs to the True Tomb convinces the rest to return?

One more bit of information: The campaign setting is Eberron, although setting knowledge is not necessary.

Shadow Lodge

When my party finally took the Faceless One down, they knocked him to -4 or something (autostabilized being Warforged). They didn't finish killing him, so I'm thinking I'll bring him back as a recurring villian.
My question is, who do you think would be the person to bring him back to life? He can't heal naturally (because of Warforged), so someone has to help. I want to make sure when my PCs demand it, he has something to mock them about.

Shadow Lodge

I've been running The Whispering Cairn for a few sessions. My PCs finally got out of the Cairn and into the plot. After searching the farm and connecting the arm to Skutch, the PCs go looking for Kullen.
The 'face' (Shifter Urban Ranger) goes to talk to Kullen. He makes small talk and attempts to bring up Skutch. Diplomacy roll is a 4.... A big fight happens, and the PCs get trounced.
The next evening they corner Merovinn Bask when he's drunk and threaten him with graverobbing charges if he doesn't cooperate. He's too drunk to think it through, so he spills the beans (good intimidate check, too).
They head to Filge's (who I have as Dread Necromancer from Heroes of Horror) place. After ransacking the bottom two floors, they fight him and his zombies in the operating theater.
Long story short, they once again get trounced. They have retreated to Diamond Lake to recover.
My concept for Filge: He's there at obsensibly at Smenk's request, but he is a follower of the Shadow and wants the Ebon Triad cleaned out for personal reasons. If he survives, somehow, he's going to take the place of Darl Quethos (as some other, brilliant DM did in his campaign).
I'm wondering what other DM's think of this:
Filge spends a day or so ranting and raving, and his other Tomb Mote arrives back from its trip wherever (the other was destroyed, by the way). He sends that to Smenk, who has his thugs snatch the PCs (either alone or as a group). After Smenk and Filge interrogate them, Filge offers them the skeleton they want (once he knows that they want it) in exchange for clearing out the cult in Dourstone Mine....

Shadow Lodge

I've only recently started DMing the Whispering Cairn.
Could other DMs tell me how their PCs learned Zosiel's name, for the final tomb? My PCs haven't, but I'm not sure if I missed a description for it somewhere....

Shadow Lodge

Any suggestions?
