I was wondering what people would recommend for something like powerful build, which allowed races to take weapons a size category above their normal size eg medium sized creatures with large sized weapons.

I've noticed that a lot of people have been complaining about the damage that the guns used by the gunslinger does (quite the mouthful), so I went and looked back through some of the old stuff that came before the gunslinger and lo and behold there was the pathfinder chronicles campaign setting. True, some of the rules are a little dated now, what with Pathfinder RPG but the section I wanted to draw attention to was the section called Firearms. Now we have rules for misfire and after a quick double check, we don't have the exploding dice rule.

Basically when rolling the damage dice of a gun you kept rolling damage if you rolled maximum dice (in the case of the playtest this would be 8 on a d8), which I think would help balance the some what low range and other problems that people have pointed out.

From a fluff point, Alkenstar have other types of firearms due to the lack of magic (it being non-existent) so they have developed fantastical weapons of war. That said, I think it would be fair to say that they musket and the flintlock pistol are but the tip of deep and dangerous iceberg of destruction.

Just some food for thought for you all to think over.

Firstly apologies if this is the wrong place.

I've heard talk about a campaign called Age of Worms where some of the monsters have ceramic armour. I was wondering knew if there was rules for that material to be used by PC's or NPC's

I've been planning a campaign for a few months now and I've been running with the idea of Star Wars. Not the system, the plot. Mostly because I want to see how many of my friends guess and it would be a good laugh. Ideally if I had the money, I would be using miniatures from the warmachine and hordes primal system, using the Skhorne as the "stormtroopers" of my world.

The problem that I have is how far do I go with this? How do I make magic work as a replacement to the force. Since Darth Vader is not some sucky wizard or sorcerer or a lame fighter. (I don't actually have a problem with these classes) but some kind of uber combo of the two. I also have access to the Lich King from the 1st edition of World of Warcraft where the characters were more like D&D characters. So how would I go about converting him to Pathfinder?

Help is needed.

I have recently gotten hold of a collection of 1st Edition World of Warcraft PDFs and want to adapt theme to Pathfinder. Certain things are quite easy but things like the healer class and converting the lich king to be a main villain. Could someone please help me?

The general idea behind my campaign is to have three major human civilizations dishing out against one another. The idea is to use Ancient Greece/ Ancient Roman culture and organization, the ancient Egyptians and Vikings. Other races are going to crop as the players progress through the history of these nations.

A couple of things that I want to double check is the kind of weapons that these cultures actually used and the armour these people used.

Also, I couldn't find stats for a Goat or a Ram. Sounds really weird but I'm going to steal the idea of dwarves riding armoured rams into combat. (yes i stole the idea from Eragon but I'm pretty sure that the author stole the idea from somewhere else.)
