Book of Fiends! I forgot that one. I used to own the hard copy a few years back but (I believe) I let it go couple years ago when I had to step away from all of it. I must have it again. Really like what Beyond Hell and Infernal have to offer!! Additionaly, any books like Forgotten Foes are also the types of sources I'm hoping to find to provide those NPC characters and what not :)
'lo Everyone! Been trying to do my online research on Pathfinder Compatible products and haven't had the grandest of luck on my search for those tomes that heavily deal with demons, devils and other critters or forces that go bump bump debump. I've been looking high and low through Rite Publishing, Frog and a couple others but haven't yielded much - but I know they're out there! It's all a part of my pet project as I get to know Pathfinder more and create something I had started in Faerun (Forgotten Realms). Any help, linkages and suggestions would be the mana! -Neri
Edit: I will be placing everything on my wishlist so I have a record of it, so if it's available here through Paizo, woot woot /endcrazywhitemale
Just reading the descriptor provided in the links listed above, the favored that I would like see would the Kyton. I love the idea of having a greater race detailed out, especially ones that have the rumor of being prior to the Devil's of Hell. It gives another arch and excellent story line to something that I personally love playing.

My thinking is that if you create something with unbirthed, new soul that there is a great chance of the Evil through Good spread, more humanoid and more consciousness of Ze's(Him/Her's, unless you want gender specific) actions, planning, expectations. It could be a sorcerer of some sort + an already ancient soul artifact created a group of Elementals that are far more humanoid than they're brethern in the Planes. They choose to live in the Planes or in the Material world that is best suited, creating new and proper items to secure their fragility (or lack there of now?) and so forth.

I'm thinking that it isn't to much, but instead needs to be viewed as a project, an undertaking to get it all completed and mastered :)
Greetings all! Newer to the Pathfinder world and very much eager to begin to play within it. I fell in love with Forgotten Realms and during my passion of Toril, I too fell in love with demons, devils and what not, asking myself "How can they be good?" Well, back in the day over on Candlekeep and their most excellent forums of players and writers of the novels alike, I crafted and melded and weaved and heaved all that I could into something special. Special enough that the wise Sage and others felt that it should go into their Compendium - and thusly it did. Enter 4.0, exit my stay. Flash foward to now, and seeing that I am newer to Pathfinder (Golarion), I am not entirely sure how to convert (or I would take this whole thing up myself and post for all delight) - has anyone converted anything out of Fiend Folio, Book of Exalted Deeds and Book of Vile Darkness? These (at the time) where my major sources, along with the Toril Twist (if you will) when I came up with some of my NPC stories, life and times, etc. It was great and many people loved it - but I never got the chance to place them into the world it self (on the table that is.) and watch them come to life. Further aware, I know that Pathfinder has yet come out with anything that I mentioned above and have a very select handful of novels. So I resort to the above once again, but hoping to make it anew :) If you have done this, or know of anyone who has, would you post them? How would you adjust some of the monsters, spells, etc. found in these tomes? What difficulties did you (or your source) come across? Benefits and advantages? Edit: Made changes to grammar (shame on me.) and added additional information/history for no reason.
This is something that I have been debating myself as I start up a campaign with some students at my job.. Personally, I fall in love with the story and the idea of fleshing that tale out to be told. To make something a bit more out of it as your character reaches level 20, advances and moves on to greater and more important thing with the Planes. But, alas I'm also a novice PM and not sure of my capabilities starting out :) My opinion, without education, is strictly that: Keep them moving up and up.

This is what I'm leaning towards myself.. I think more long term and where characters might go once they reach an Epic level. What challenges face them? Draw backs? Advantages over and around? Connections they've made (speaking on NPC characters here to involve.) and broken? Having the Epic Information would be great. It'd only make sense as we learn more of Golarion, ancient cities, ruins and deities that are older than old, as we learn more of the Outer Planes.
Would someone be able to help this man out? I'm a huge fan of the Exalted Book when I owned it and plan to do (what I had planned do to in FR) something with both of the Exalted books, demons, angels, etc. I'd love to see the conversion or really how to properly go about converting something like this class into Pathfinder too! Thanks for posting this Bardess, keeping my open on this!
Wow, so much great information you guys - I greatly appreciate all of this! I'm feeling a little overwhelmed and what not, but as someone has mentioned I am more worried about the logistics of the world vs. the races and what not, leaving it to my players for the time being. PFS isn't much of where I am looking to go at this time. I have seen a few things published by the Soceity and they look outstanding! I hope to incorporate that into their world here long term. This Beginner Box I have seen or heard nothing but great reviews of it, so I think I may just check it out to get an idea of what is really up with it and go from there!
Greetings all, I am a brand new GM and entirely new to the setting of Pathfinder. I've been asked by my students at my job to host a roleplaying game for them and (excitedly) I have decided upon the world of Golarion. I hope that this fits best in this area and if not, I do apologize in advance. But, I was wanting to get a feel from other GM's who tend to stick to canon and not much editing of the rules when it comes to game play, things to be aware of and more? I've got everything I need for these guys - so we are good to go. Just looking for some advice, tips and tricks! Thank you!
