Nathair grew up in a noble family as the third and youngest son. He was well taken care of and mildly spoiled. Upon coming of age, he knew he had no inheritance due him, so he signed up with the royal guard. Here is was trained in the art of snake mounted combat and caring for ones mount and wielding more exotic weapons than the standard guards. He served for 10 years before being promoted to be a representative of his people to the world. He was eager to see outside of their civilation, so he accepted. He packed up his things, loaded up Ijagan, and headed out. He heard of a small town who was being attacked by lizardfolk. He decided that he needed to assist them to show that not all reptilians are to be feared and that his assistance would spread the word of the Nagaji greatness.
