If he went back to Alkenstar after leaving Thuvia, it probably would have been a year or so since the failed Sun Orchid expedition - maybe longer. It mainly depends on how long he stayed in Alkenstar before heading to Sothis.

He probably would have stayed 2 years to pick up some unique, rare tricks to give him a leg up on the competition.

You won't have any problems making it in, Unafe. And if it came down to the two of us having equal chance of getting in, I'd bow out in favor of you.
