Najwa watches all of this go down with a smile. As much as she has trained herself to be a great fighter, she loves how a group with many different skills can make a plan come together without bloodshed.

"Thank you Lady Aula. We appreciate your generosity and I am glad our Master baker, Daraj, was able to give you something in return. I am glad that Pavo and Sera were able to find happiness here."

She picks up the journal from the floury table Daraj placed it on and wipes off his handprints. Glances through it out of curiosity while Daraj finishes his instructions.

"This is excellent documentation! It seems this couple, Pavo and Sera moved the village to the river, do we think this is the settlement we docked at, Artume?"

She inspects the sword next "This is a fine looking blade"

Najwa steps gracefully in front of Daraj and sweeps her Khopesh low in a sweeping hook to trip as she moves, followed by a downward chop.

I cant find it in the book but I THINK that the trip would basically count as an attack, so my second attack would have the -5

Not wanting to miss anything in the gloom, Najwa pulls out a torch and lights it and then draws her Khopesh.

She walks in holding the torch high and takes the lead, carefully testing floorboards for rot and being suspicious of the newly laid wood for some sort of trap.

Search, look for traps or dangerous floorboards?

Najwa nods to Oranna, "Yes, whatever happens here I the last thing we want is to be around if revolution does break out, even if it doesn't gain much traction"

She recalls the path back to the abandoned village and the guidance given to them by the hunter.

"Excuse me, your Grace. I do believe this rebel group was heavily under the influence of this foreign wizard. I also believe that this group would prefer to avoid bloodshed, they truly didn't seem the terrible type. They were sorely mistreated and lost many loved ones to this Waike, and fear more of the same. It is possible a discussion could alleviate all of this trouble."

No clue why I tried this with a +0... Najwa is wise not persuasive:)

The only thing Najwa has that sounds even slightly useful is lore:warfare but even that is at a crummy +3.

Najwa nods her head at Lokoloko and Kappa

"From what we have heard in town this young king is doing far better than his predecessor, at least in the eyes of his people. I think they need to be informed that foreign agents are trying to rile up factions. From what I've heard of Chops and Nalla's reasoning they were more or less expecting him to turn into a tyrant without giving him an actual chance.

She looks toward her allies, like Oranna she is a bit crestfallen to have been wrapped up in these foreign affairs. Her strong sense of duty and code of law compels her though.

"Obviously revolution for revolutions sake is folly, just unnecessary bloodshed and I do not think the Pathfinder Society would gain any benefit that. Perhaps we should seek out an audience with the court or at the least head of security for the young king?"

"Considering we are back in the town we started in, we may as well find him and let him know what has gone down. If a rebellion is starting I think he should learn of this as soon as possible"

She thinks for a moment and finishes "I may be wrong but the information about the lodge might quickly fall on his list of priorities given this new information. Not to mention we got dragged into this and I would hate for our immediate supervisor to find out some misinformation from a third party that we were involved."

Najwa slaps Kappa on the back. "I think you did excellently my friend. You brought up some very important points and seemed to push Nalla to ponder what will happen after the rebellion. This brought out the wizards true colors. I can only guess at what his true motovations were but I doubt it had much to do with freedom or helping the people of this kingdom"

Najwa goes over to Nalla and lends her some aid, helping her sit up or seeing if she needs medical help.

Najwa sees his group all taking aim at the wizard so tries to take the fighter out of the picture.

Najwa is glad this farce is over. It seems that Nalla and these rebels have been manipulated.

Action 3 snagging strike on Harsus, if Harsus is dead then the Green one, if I hit with my Khopesh I reach out and grab his shoulder and pull him a bit off balance.(flat footed till start of next turn)

as we were up and drinking beverages with them I would of inquired about the area and if they knew anything about the tower

Najwa is uncomfortable that they are here, she regrets not speaking up last night but Chops seemed insistent. They were just supposed to inform that trouble existed not infiltrate the rebel faction.

" Greetings Nalla," She gives a slight bow and introduces each party member "And I am Najwa, Your man Chops is very loyal to you and your cause, but very stubborn and trusting.

Najwa sheathes her weapon and walks with Kappa to the fire, she gives a genuine smile and offers each firebrand a nod of thanks "Thank you for this offer of hospitality, The road can be full of dangers and its good to be reminded not every stranger is an enemy."

She walks around the fire and puts her back to the wall, instead of sitting she squats low, nonchalantly spinning her small buckler between her pointer finger and the ground. She does not yet take of the food.

"I must confess I am a foreigner to this kingdom and am unaware of its politics. All I know is what I have heard at port before we set off on our mission and I am curious"

Najwa, anxiously watching Lokoloko from the darkness takes in a sharp breathe when she hears Kappa speak up. She knew they would all have to reveal themselves eventually to these strangers. Though they are obviously against the current regime that doesn't mean they have wronged anyone and if anything might provide some good information.

Still she keeps her position, if they respond favorably to Kappa she will sheathe her weapon and show herself.

Najwa crouches quietly in the dilapidated building, afraid that if she shows herself now it might cause a knee jerk hostile reaction. She nods to the amiable little goblin to let him know she has his back if this turns sour.

Still kneeling, Najwa points to the light from the doorway "Well that makes it easy on us, at least we know we are not the only ones here. Hopefully they are just hunters or travelers seeking shelter from the night."

Contrary to her optimistic words she reaches behind her and quietly pulls the large Khopesh from her back. "But you never know" She says with a wry smile.

"We need to somehow assess their numbers, I should be capable of quietly getting close for a better look." She looks at Kappa, Lokoloko and Duraj slightly embarrassed, "I apologize but I must confess I am uncertain of your capabilities. Do you have any magics or potions that may be of use for this purpose?"

Najwa nods to Oranna"Yes, I agree "She says in hushed tones"I think we should ensure the town is without threats before we venture up to the lodge, I would like no dangers at our backs"

She crouches down as she surveys the area, looking for any tracks in the mud or other signs of recent visitors to the town.

Najwa seems pleased to be out of the town. This land seems so lush and verdant compared to the desert where she hails from, how could anyone starve or thirst with all this life around them?

She thinks back to the words of the hunter and keeps her compass close at hand. Her teenage years learning how to track and navigate through the vast arid highlands shores her resolve. This is her first mission with the Pathfinder society, she cannot fail.

"Keep your rope close at hand just in case, but I believe the good hunters directions and our alertness to these new surroundings steer us clear of these threats. I have always been good at finding the way, but don't hesitate to offer advice, friends. We always have more to learn"

Najwa looks in her backpack, pulls out her rope and a ties it to the outside of her bag for easy access. She also pulls out a compass on a chain and places it around her neck.

"Excellent idea Kappa, I have heard stories of the sand that swallows. I am warry from what I hear of these freedoms"

Najwa is dwelling on these river freedoms while slowly chewing the delicious fried dough and listening to lokoloko's tale. Looks back at the halflings food stand longingly when her sample is gone.

"Thank you for these directions, hunter. Besides the mud and quicksand what other threats would we expect to find in the area?"

She turns to her new companions "I am prepared for the journey, but patient aplenty if any of you have further need in town"

Najwa nods to Daraj in thanks. Although some of the names sound familiar, she has little knowledge of these events.

"Venture-Captain, when was the last time any have heard from this Kerinha or the Pathfinder lodge she founded? Was Kerinha one of the long lived folk? If not I assume she would have passed on by now"

She looks out into the town to assess state of the people.

I guess I am trying to perceive if this town looks to be riddled with poverty or crime but I am not sure if I could notice that from here, trying to assess how the people are faring under a new king

A short yet stocky young human woman walks unsteadily down the gangplank and breathes a sigh of relief to be on dry land. Covered in layers of loose fitting fabric, she pulls her shawl down to protect her eyes from the sun. Her dark face and hands a sharp contrast to the white and yellow colors of her dress, but the large Khopesh she wears across her back seems even more so.

Visibly excited to be on her first Society mission, she walks gracefully to the other society members and with sweeping gesture and a broad smile introduces herself.

"Greetings to you all, My name is Najwa Al'Sheddeh. It is a pleasure to meet you all and be a small part of your life's journey"

After the introduction she starts to scan the area with her eyes, making note of faces and anything which may be a threat.
