Hi guys,

I'm playing an elven ancient lorekeeper oracle of time (pharasma, nethys
and gozreh). I would like to take "eldrith heritage" to get a familiar, but a special one: a scarab (fits perfectly, I think)
I couldnt find a rule or idea or thread for that ... so I ask you ;-)

With what would you compare a scarab? Like a greensting scorpion?
Or give it completely new rules, bonuses and so on?

Your help is highly apprecciated :)

-Question concerning the Seven Spears-

At first I want to apologize my bad english. I'm not native speaking and my skills are getting rusty ;)

My playercharacters are in the city right now.
And for my interpretation of the campaign I would like to have an associated sorcerer bloodline to each of the sevens Sprears/Spires.

My players sorcerer has the "destined" bloodline and I don't want this bloodline on one of the spires (for story reasons).

1.) Spear of Righteous Anger
2.) Spear of Wealth
3.) Spear of Honest Pride
4.) Spear of Rest
5.) Spear of Eager Striving
6.) Spear of Abundance
7.) Spear of Fertility

And if there are already information on this topic, plaese share a link.

Thanks for your comment, Andrew. But I read about a dwarven king called Gorm in a Paizo Supplement, and simply cannot find it anymore. *grrr*

I read about a dwarven king called Gorm. Now by chance one of my players calls his dwarf also Gorm and I have a mean story about that incident.

But now I cannot find the information about the King Gorm anymore. I simply forgot, where I read abou him.

Can anybody please help me?

Is there an information about the "Well Of Sorrows" included in this Adventure? I want to run a campaign, where the PCs enter the Darklands. And this Well is so full of history and adventure... I'd like to play that ;)

Okay, that explains my problem. I always thought, the bonus of 3 were also "ranks" and would count as "real" skillranks.

Bad luck for me and my Loremaster-to-come ;-)

Requirements:
3 Item creation or Metamagic Feats: check
Skillfokus (Knowledge, any): check
7 ranks in any two Knowledge skills: ???

Okay. What does the 7 ranks mean? Must my charakter be level 7 (with 7 ranks in 2 knowledge skills), or is (for example) level 5 enough, if I count the 3 bonus ranks from the class-skill into the required 7 ranks?

I hope you understand my problem.

Hi again,

I have a question concerning shields and the ability to do shield bashes in fights.

If I look at heavy darkwood/mithral shields, they "just" weight 5lbs, as light shields do. So are they treated as light weapons in the off hand while using TWF ?

The rules do not say something specific about it Iand I hope somebody can help me out :)

I apologize for my bad english in advance, it has gotten rusty over the last 12 years...

My question is concerning the languages learned and the bonus if Linguistics is a class skill.

Does the class skill bonus (+3) counts towards the learnable languages, or is it "just" the INT-Mod and the spent ranks in that skill, that tell me how many languages my Charakter can learn?
