Elected Councilman, Arthur Blake | Know Local or Know Noble

To Halcyon:
Once away from prying ears and eyes, Arthur speaks openly about Blair's appearance. In light of last night's events, she has come on behalf of the King of Greater Galatine himself, King Magnus Rey, in a motion to pass an earlier proposed law to forfeit criminals involved in crimes against Greater Galatine and it's citizens. Arthur states before it was only a diplomatic arrangement, perhaps to be traded in upcoming negotiations, but now it appears more like a demand, a first step in undoing yesterday's wrongs.

Arthur looks away, thinking of something. He tells you that after his meeting with you, he was going to turn down the bill, but now it seems almost like it has to pass. He seems to find himself in the same thoughts as you, stating the circumstances hardly seem coincidental. He bites at his lip, pondering the idea.

The blonde man shakes his head. "I'll tell you how Council leans after the day is done. Whoever is behind this, Blair or not, has plans. I'll be around your office again soon. It was, hmm, enlightening to say the least."

After your debrief at the Tall Tail, you are free to perform your intersession. You may want to comment on what other's have found, or decide a plan of attack. For the four original players, you will be interviewed by the Guard next week on the 11th, you may want to decide if there is any story you'd prefer to tell/withhold. Make sure to roll for wealth, it should be listed on your respective intersession sites.

To Seth:
As you are now making wealth based on missions and not a dice roll based amount, add 1500 for this week, in addition to what Helmuth gave you. That should be enough until your other jobs start coming to fruition in the coming weeks.

To Halcyon:
Arthur only now seems to realize that you have entered, flusters, and excuses himself out of the room. He dismisses the captain, and walks you a few paces away from the door. “You can’t come here, Madame d’Orsay, I don’t need rumors that I need consul.” The man sighs, watching the blonde woman and the black knight leave the Durendale Council Building. “Forgive me,” he starts, “it has been a rather tumultuous afternoon. I’m sure you’re aware of all the problems of last night.” Arthur looks tired, almost drained. He has likely been meeting with the other members since the morning. “Well, what is it? Did you see something?

Everyone else can collect whatever information you have gathered. Sorry about recent delays in posting, I've been moving to a new apartment, and it's taken the bulk of my time.
