Eidolon Character sheet

Round 4, I think.

If Mr. Blinky had higher intelligence, he might look around for a source of dust or liquid that he might use to reveal the wizard's location. He's smarter than he looks, but not that smart. He takes a 5ft step and blindly attacks 3 more squares.

Bite north: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (12) + 5 = 171d2 ⇒ 11d6 + 3 ⇒ (4) + 3 = 7
Claw northeast: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (14) + 5 = 191d2 ⇒ 21d6 + 3 ⇒ (2) + 3 = 5
Claw south: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (7) + 5 = 121d2 ⇒ 11d6 + 3 ⇒ (5) + 3 = 8

Mr. Blinky Reflex: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (17) + 5 = 22

At a quick mental signal from Ozzy, Mr. Blinky, too, is able to avoid the sticky strands.

Mr. Blinky Fort: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (10) + 4 = 14

He, too, has smelled worse things.

Since the cloud blocks vision, does it also block light sources that are inside the cloud?

Also, attacks against Ozzy have a 50% miss chance in dim light (instead of the normal 20%). Does that apply to the miss chance from the fog?

Mr. Blinky, aware of how much damage he and his summoner have taken, stays in the back and attempts to bite the head off of the nearest mite (#8).

Bite: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (13) + 4 = 171d6 + 5 ⇒ (4) + 5 = 9

Eidolon Character sheet

Will: 1d20 + 0 ⇒ (8) + 0 = 8
Will: 1d20 + 0 ⇒ (11) + 0 = 11

And I think he was supposed to roll a fort save earlier as well...

Fort: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (14) + 4 = 18

At the twitch of Ozzy's finger, Mr. Blinky lunges at the mite leader.

Claw: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (7) + 4 = 111d4 + 5 ⇒ (2) + 5 = 7
Claw: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (6) + 4 = 101d4 + 5 ⇒ (2) + 5 = 7
Bite: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (20) + 4 = 241d6 + 5 ⇒ (5) + 5 = 10
Bite (crit confirmation): 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (19) + 4 = 231d6 + 5 ⇒ (3) + 5 = 8

The beast's claws sweep past the mite (I'm assuming those missed), then but its jaw opens wide, and slams shut on the leader's head before he can react.

Ozzy continues (Even if that's not enough to kill him Ozzy will continue as if his death is a foregone conclusion, though she will speak more quickly in that case), turning to survey the room, Undercommon. I suspect the rest of you will be more reasonable than your former leader.

Diplomacy: 1d20 + 7 + 3 ⇒ (16) + 7 + 3 = 26

Now with a clear path to the blue Boggard, Mr. Blinky, shaking aside his fear, leaps through the air, his claws pointed at the frog-like creature. As he comes down, he attempts to sink his teeth into it as well. Delayed action pounce.

Claw: 1d20 + 2 - 2 + 2 ⇒ (11) + 2 - 2 + 2 = 131d4 + 4 ⇒ (3) + 4 = 7
Claw: 1d20 + 2 - 2 + 2 ⇒ (5) + 2 - 2 + 2 = 71d4 + 4 ⇒ (3) + 4 = 7
Bite: 1d20 + 2 - 2 + 2 ⇒ (18) + 2 - 2 + 2 = 201d6 + 4 ⇒ (6) + 4 = 10

Eidolon Character sheet

Will: 1d20 + 0 ⇒ (3) + 0 = 3
Will: 1d20 + 0 ⇒ (19) + 0 = 19
Will: 1d20 + 0 ⇒ (11) + 0 = 11

Mr. Blinky is frightened for 1 round and shaken for the following 2 rounds.

Meanwhile, Mr. Blinky rips into the horse that just injured him (red).

Bite: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (11) + 2 = 131d8 + 5 ⇒ (6) + 5 = 11
Claw: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (12) + 2 = 141d6 + 5 ⇒ (1) + 5 = 6
Claw: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (13) + 2 = 151d6 + 5 ⇒ (4) + 5 = 9

If he's a light horse, the first two attacks should be enough to take him down. In that case, the third attack will divert to the green horse.

Also as this is a surprise round we only get a standard action, right?

Oops. Mr. Blinky has the Pounce ability, which does allow him to full-attack in the surprise round, but I forgot that he actually has to charge to use it (charging in the surprise round is allowed, but you can only move up to your speed). Updated his location, and those attack rolls should have an additional +2 (not that it is likely to make a difference with those rolls).

The beast stands beside the girl, and leans in to sniff the food as she eats it. From behind, the creature could be mistaken for a dark grey wolf with an unusually furry neck, but a look at its face would make a man wonder how he could ever have been so wrong. It's short nose is flanked by huge spherical eyes, each easily the size of a child's head. His head swivels in place to look over at the Abaos, then back at the girl.

She reaches over to tousle his fur without looking up, then returns to picking at her food. The beast's small mouth stretches across its face to become impossibly large, and a long, reptilian tongue darts up from the corner to its right eye, licking it clean and moistening it.

...and her eidolon, Mr. Blinky.

Eidolon Character sheet

When Tangar calls Mr. Blinky "just" a wild beast, Mr. Blinky looks at him and responds, It takes one to know one, I suppose.

Mr. Blnky studies the woman who brings in the food. Something seems wrong about her... different from the other servers of food and drink in the main room. Her spilling of a drink is at odds with the impressive grace of movement that she displays.

Sense Motive: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (12) + 4 = 16

Eidolon Character sheet

Mr. Blinky walks up just as Aldhranhald is questioning Ozzy. He moves in close to her protectively, then he licks his eye, leaving his mouth open enough to let his teeth gleam in the light of the tavern, though not yet showing their wicked points.

Eidolon Character sheet

At the request to scratch him behind the ear, Mr. Blinky smiles and wordlessly lowers his head, turning it away from the girl to present the spot in question for said scratching. When the scratching commences, Mr. Blinky swings his wolf-like tail back and forth and thumbs one hind leg to show his appreciation.

Eidolon Character sheet

Mr. Blinky steps out from where he is hardly hidden behind Ozzy. I stay with the girl. Mr. Blinky says, giving one of his quadrupedal bows, which barely brings his head down to the height of the halfling's.

Mr Blinky looks at the bat and licks his eye.

While the girl's hand is still outstretched, a balding man interrupts. Mr. Blinky fixes him with a hard stare.

Eidolon Character sheet

The strange beast speaks up in perfect Common. And I'm called "Blinky." I can speak for myself. Mr. Blinky's voice is deep and matter-of-fact. It has an almost fatherly quality to it. Despite their inability to blink (a quality that makes his name ironic), they are oddly expressive.

Blinky comes as close to bowing as his quadrupedal frame will allow, thn licks his other eye.

I couldn't find a single avatar of a large-eyed creature, so you'll have to use your imagination a bit.
