Sorry guys, I just realized that this page was not updating for me.....I think I am going to drop out at this point...sorry

Checking in!

Init: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (7) + 3 = 10

Well Morvas is going to get the fatigued penalty removed before he does anything...then I hope he will be able to catch up with the others

1/2 Elven Pictan Male /

I agree. I know Morvas is fatigued and would benefit from healing, as I am sure the rest would as well. Is there any of us that does not need healing? Maybe that should be the person to first carry the badana.

1/2 Elven Pictan Male /

Who do we think has the best chance of making it? Or do we work together to assist the chosen one?

1/2 Elven Pictan Male /

D'oh!! Our rations!!

Following the brothers example, Morvas also digs into his pack and removes the rations found there, eating his fill, and feeling the fool for not thinking about them before!

"The water route does seem to be a quicker method of travel, but there are also many hidden dangers, I should think! Hubert makes many good points. Sticking to the forest will afford us some protection, but it will also slow us as we will need to blaze a trail. I think I will take the forest route, maybe on route I can forage for some food to help out....I am so tired I am not sure what might be the best plan. I will need to see the Druids before I can think further...."

OOps...I just noticed that my last survival skill was a success not a fail (probably due to adding the extra con checks), so he shows up well fed, but tired!!

Hoping to prove himself, Morvas prepares himself mentally for the challenge ahead.

Survival Day 1: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (3) + 6 = 9 Hungry -2
CON: 1d20 + 2 - 2 ⇒ (8) + 2 - 2 = 8 hungry and fatigued
Sleep makes fatigue go away

Survival Day 2: 1d20 + 6 - 2 ⇒ (17) + 6 - 2 = 21 Well fed +/-0
CONx2: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (5) + 2 = 7, 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (1) + 2 = 3 fatigued
Sleep makes fatigue go away

Survival Day 3: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (15) + 6 = 21 Hungry -2
CONx3: 1d20 + 2 - 2 ⇒ (13) + 2 - 2 = 13, 1d20 + 2 - 2 ⇒ (9) + 2 - 2 = 9, 1d20 + 2 - 2 ⇒ (3) + 2 - 2 = 3 exhausted

The first day starts off rough, and Morvas goes to sleep hungry, but the following day is better and he is able to find ample food, but expends much of his energy doing so and is very tired by the end of the day. The final day sees him pushing on to the river, not taking the time to find enough food, and arriving exhausted.

I think I did this right..please adjust if I made a mistake

Still stinging from his lack of forest knowledge, Morvas turns his hand to the climbing wall.

Climb: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (6) + 1 = 7
Climb: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (18) + 1 = 19

Unable to get beyond the first several feet, he is finally rescued and completes the climb, his cheeks burning with embarrassment.

Thanking Liam for help getting to the field, Morvas agrees with his idea about circling around. He takes his time in approaching the Wisp.

Take 10 on stealth: 10+8=18

1/2 Elven Pictan Male /

Feeling bad about not knowing how to get to the grove, Morvas bends his efforts to doing well in this next test.

Knowledge-Geography (Untrained): 1d20 ⇒ 7
Stealth: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (5) + 8 = 13

Jeez...my rolls are sucking suddenly!! cannot find my way out of the grove..lol

Ok..I dont know what happened, but my post is gone and this game was not updating for me!! I just realized I had not seen any new posts, so I checked, and low and behold...lots of posts...but not mine!! Sorry for holding things up..will post now!

Knowledge-Geography: 1d20 ⇒ 8
Knowledge-Nature: 1d20 ⇒ 8

Aww crap..did better on my first rolls!

Looking around Morvas realized that he is not really sure which way to go. Luckily Liam figured it out, and he follows meekly behind.

Once they get to the right area, however, he has no clue what trees they are looking for and wanders about a bit lost.

"I??? Umm..I did ..well nothing! I was an orphan from a place called Glenrothe in Picta. I was recently given over to the local orphanage and from them to here. I suppose that they felt if I was able to survive on my own for a number of years in Picta, maybe I would make a good Ranger. Who was I to argue with that! What did you study? Ah, looks like we are here...see I told you that you could make it! Now lets set about getting the camp setup!"

1/2 Elven Pictan Male /

"I am sure you will. What did you do before coming to training?"
His accent is rather thick, and it is obvious he is from Picta.

Con Check: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (18) + 2 = 20

Morvas hikes along and barely feels the effects of the long days march. He notices one of the humans slowing down and having some difficulty near the end of the day.

"Come on friend. Just a little longer and soon we can relax. I believe your name is Hubert? I am Morvas. Just a bit further and we can rest."

Aid other: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (20) + 2 = 22

1/2 Elven Pictan Male /

Survival: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (18) + 6 = 24

Morvas spots much food all around them, having lived in the wilds as a child. He gathers enough to feed himself and one other person, just in case.

Craft Bow: 1d20 ⇒ 19

Having never even attempted such a feat, Morvas watched carefully as the boyers plied their trade. When presented with the raw materials, he attempted to emulate this methods, and surprised himself with an actual, usable bow.

Morvas goes with the others to get their breakfast. He remains quiet and watchful, keeping his distance from Adair for the time being.
The breakfast is very good...better than most he has had, and he saves a portion of the sausage for later, out of habit.
Once finished, he sits and waits for further instructions.

1/2 Elven Pictan Male /

Morvas follows the human back to the barracks and listens to his instructions. He is taken aback by the sight of one of his father's people. He tries to keep out of the fae's way, hoping not to be noticed.
He dons the armor that was left for him, and shrugs on the pack. He waits for the others to complete this function before lining up to march out for breakfast.

1/2 Elven Pictan Male /

Morvas nods back to the human who seems to have brought his family along. While they seem friendly, he does notice the looks the older female keeps giving the half-orc.

1/2 Elven Pictan Male /

Ok, ready to go!!

1/2 Elven Pictan Male /

Morvas silently enters the hall, to stand quietly to one side until he is called upon.
