Another sculpt today - the Mishima Shadow Walker and we have only one Guide (Cartel) to unlock before we start on the major campaigns! That's now 1700 pages of PDF's for the PDF Master Pledge for just £40 :-)

Hey just announced that Wayne Reynolds will be doing the new cover for the Mutant Chronicles 3rd Edition Core book! I've been a fan of his work for a long time and remember seeing the first Pathfinder book and other classic covers so it's amazing to think he's going to be bringing his unique look to the sci-fi diesel punk universe.

The original cover artworks were by Paul Bonner which we'll be re-using where appropriate but it seemed right to give the core book a fresh paint job for this next version! What do you guys think? I think it might be his first sci-fi image so will be very cool to see what he comes up with.

The Beta Test produced by Jason Little has gone out to core Playtesters now, and we'll be widening to the full playtest group over the coming days before the release of the Open Beta on RPGNow.
In last night's update we unveiled some of the content plan for the Luna and Dark Legion content in the core book along with some awesome A1 canvas poster prints of the classic Paul Bonner art.

Check out the custom Q-Workshop Hit Location dice we're producing - the final selection of sides is to be confirmed but this is what they'll look like!

Thanks Benjamin!

We literally just unlocked the full 248 page Dark Soul Guide and our latest Mutant Chronicles Kickstarter update showed off the first of the cool new character concept art of Detective Vance Ryder of Luna Police Department by Jeff Porter with some intro fiction.

We also announced our awesome Kickstarter exclusive of the Luna PD badge (made by Campaign Coins in Australia) plus a Luna PD Exclusive custom d20 for £20. Whilst Luna PD is technically under the auspices of Capitol is it in fact staffed by people from all corporations and is a focus of investigations during the Dark Symmetry Period.

You can never have enough dice right? So tonight's Kickstarter update will give you some cool new Mutant Chronicles dice to collect then there's some limited quantity embroidered patches but more important we also chat with Mischa Thomas, the Swedish writer of the Dark Legion material about what we can expect to see of the Dark Apostles in the core book and the forthcoming Dark Soul book.

We're blown through the £50k level and about to unlock the Imperial Guide but tonight showed off the first of the space ship concepts and the big range of Mutant Chronicles t-shirts

Yep Doom Trooper the card game in 16 languages, Blood Berets, Fury of the Clansmen and the Siege of the Citadel boardgames, plus a couple of video games for SNSES and Megadrive, comics and novels

Thanks for the plug guys - it's a re-write of the rules, new art, new storyline alongside the old, lots of cool stuff being unlocked in the kickstarter :-)

Yes we're close to hitting the full colour hard cover stretch goal for the Keeper's Guide and lots more to come!

Thanks Heine, it's going well!

Who's seen the film or planning to see the film then? I hear it's out in the US this week. Saw it in Europe and it's a great special effects action blast!

Apparently it was a massive hit in the US, because it does parody everyone really. There's a free to view prequel comic book on the official site that tells the story of how the Nazi's left Earth www.ironsky.net

Yes! We're actually working on a supplement which imagines you as part of 'that' group of marines as they no doubt were assigned to many other stranger and unusual missions during the war

There's still plenty of investigation, a fair share of action considering it's WW2, but again the heroes are in desperate straits if the real Cthulhu creatures start showing up so they can't solve everything with a gun.

Humanity is busy doing unspeakable things to each other and they don't need inspiration from Cthulhu - we're showing how Cthulhu might use the madness of war to further its goals. Particularly Cthulhu is never an excuse for the actions of the nazi's.

Yes I know Ragnarok, the idea with Achtung! Cthulhu though is to keep the setting during the war, perhaps in a more diesel punk version the Allies are still fighting the Nazi's. Though we would avoid previous roads that led to Dust Tactics or Tannhauser.

The threat of the Cthulhu mythos is ever present, and terrible...

So we've launched our Savage Worlds / Realms of Cthulhu and Call of Cthulhu versions of our World War Two setting Acthung! Cthulhu in the Paizo store HERE

We're working on several big campaigns for this (you can find out more over at www.facebook.com/modiphius) and I'm intrigued to see whether you prefer fighting/investigating to keep history as it happened or the opportunity to go all diesel punk and see what happens when you start messing with the mythos.
