About Miyaro Pielblanc

Description & Background:
In her 'original' form - since both are natural to her - Miyaro is a slender white-furred female kitsune. Her coloring was considered auspicious by the fox-folk of her village and she fled the pressure of their expectations when she was old enough to escape. Once out in the world, she found that many she encountered assumed that, as a kitsune, she could not be trusted. After many unfortunate encounters with skeptical or downright cruel humans, she decided to walk among them in secret. Calling on her inherent ability to change her form, she took the guise of a petite girl, apparently in her mid-teens, with pale skin, hair just a shade darker than white gold, and pale green eyes that almost look gold in the right light. She wears this form almost constantly now and has found few she trusts enough to tell her secret to, a fact that weighs on her.

She's just trying to find her way and the pressures of her people's expectations and the negative attitudes she has encountered among humans - well, they have just caused her to run away - she hides from other kitsune via her travels and she hides from humans in plain sight - by wearing human form. She often wears a robe-like garment - another form of hiding - that disguises her slight figure, making her look stockier and perhaps male as long as she hides her face in the depths of the hood. Many have mistaken her for some sort of religious, perhaps a monk, and she uses her healing abilities to reinforce that perception even if she doesn't claim it.

She could probably remain hidden indefinitely, but she has an altruistic nature that keeps getting her in trouble because she cannot stand aside. Helping the victim of a mugging angered the mugger that was really trying to scare the individual away from that part of town, giving a little bit of coin to the beggar that the shopkeeper just wants to go away, small kindnesses that someone else takes offense to - they keep happening. Even if she tried to stop so she could just get along with people, she's not sure she really could.
