"I'll never understand why I let Rathen rope me into this. We have a perfectly good lodge in Varisia that I could be relaxing in," Miri muses aloud. Still, she stalks through the wilds on soft-soled boots looking for enemies so she can report back quickly.

Miri collects her silver dagger and sheathes it. "I don't know about the rest of you, but I'm inclined to make the possessed elf someone else's problem. I suppose we could bring them back to their people. They look like they need the help, which should clear the dead man's debt and get the Society in the clear."

Hearing the elf in the cage, Miri calls out to Bhielli. "I don't trust that hole in the ground. Grab hold of him and make sure he doesn't go anywhere."

She then turns her attention to those who are more magically-inclined. "Blodgett, Mercutio, and Nykal. Do any of you have an idea what's wrong with him? Any tricks that could help? Now'd be a great time to use them."

Finally, she walks over to the cage and works to free the elves. "Just need one moment now..."
If needed, Disable Device take 10 for 25.

When her turn comes around, Miri will move to the altar, drawing the terbutje and striking out against the inanimate object with the weapon.
Attack (because of fragile weapon): 1d20 - 3 ⇒ (9) - 3 = 6
Damage: 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (7) + 1 = 8

Taking advantage of their continued blindness, Miri takes a 5ft step and throws her silver dagger at the werecreature.

Being adjacent to the altar, Miri uses her daggers to cut the ties that bind the elf and remove the gag. To the elf she says, "If you can help, now would be a good time."

She then moves toward the foes, stopping at the base of the incline.

"A werebat! Silver weapons, or your yellowheart weapons are most effective!"

She lashes out again at the creature with her silver dagger.

Miri charges towards the bat-man, intent on striking it before it completes any sacrifice!

With everyone formed up, Miri leads the group forward. She keeps her eyes and ears open for sounds/sights, and is ever vigilant against traps.

Take 10 on Perception checks for an 18. For finding traps she has a +10 w/Trapfinding and Trap Spotter. I think it's safe to assume everyone follows closely behind her.

Miri shakes her head. "I've all the magical armor I need right here," she says, tapping her leather armor.

She checks over her daggers, making sure they're where they belong, and heads forward once everyone is ready.
Miri is good with leading, and has Trap Spotter for any shenanigans.

Needing a clear shot, Miri steps to the north (5ft), drops one of her well-made daggers to draw a cold iron dagger from a sheath, and throws it at the Vargouille.
Dagger throw: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (10) + 10 = 20
Damage: 1d4 ⇒ 3

"I'm going to want that back, you winged nasty!"

Fort save: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (20) + 4 = 24

Miri moves quickly toward the bat-winged creature, drawing a dagger as she goes. She stabs at it!
Attack: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (11) + 11 = 22
Damage: 1d4 + 6 ⇒ (1) + 6 = 7
Sneak Attack: 2d6 ⇒ (2, 5) = 7

Miri (who almost could have taken 10 without the rope) climbs up once a rope is presented.

Although not proficient, Miri can hold on to the terbutje.

Miri will quickly scan around for signs of activity. Perception: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (1) + 8 = 9

Perception: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (18) + 8 = 26
Sense Motive: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (4) + 5 = 9

Miri didn't find anything to cure Con damage, but did find a number of useful healing potions.

As a reminder, she found: potion of cure moderate wounds, potion of invisibility, scrolls of levitate (2), scroll of ray of exhaustion, scroll of silent image, wand of entangle (20 charges), smokestick, mwk light crossbow with 10 bolts, mwk light mace, cloak of resistance +1, 190 gp. potions of cure light wounds (2), potion of hide from animals; mwk studded leather (2), mwk handaxes (4), mwk heavy crossbow with 20 bolts, 63 gp

She kept the potion of invisibility for herself.

Miri pockets a potion (of invisibility), then shares the rest of the items to the group.

When the elf suggests killing them, Miri obliges by slashing the throats of their unconscious foes. To Mitirat she says, "I suppose you can convince them to help us now, right?"

Miri wipes her bloodied dagger on the cloak of Aspis agent. She then starts riffling through pockets for loose change and valuables. "Do we need any of these snakes alive for questioning?"

The fear strikes her unexpectedly!

In the spirit of joke-telling, Miri moves toward the closest Aspis agent, drawing a pair of daggers as she moves forward. "You know what's funny?"

She then stabs the man.

Damage: 1d4 + 6 ⇒ (2) + 6 = 8
Sneak Attack: 2d6 ⇒ (6, 3) = 9

With a nasty grin, she adds, "But wait, the joke gets better."

Miri draws a pair of masterwork daggers and stabs at the Vampire Mist with one of them.
Attack: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (1) + 10 = 11
... But her surprise at the bleeding wound affects her aim. She then steps back 5ft.

Dungeoneering: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (15) + 4 = 19
Miri is the type to focus on the defenses of her foes. Anything she can tell the group?

She moves to within 10ft of the northern mist, drawing a dagger as she goes. She throws it!

Miri chuckles, easily leaps back to get one end of the rope from Blodgett, and hops back. She then looks for something to anchor the rope to.

Miri sighs at the antics, progressively more sympathetic for Nykal. She then leaps across as well. +13 to Acrobatics, can't fail

"Agreed on Mitarat. Any help with keeping the elves happy by not doing something to upset them is useful for us. That's my vote," Miri says.

She also makes a few purchases (several vermin repellent and a alchemist's fire) and calls in some favours for a wand of cure light wounds.

Clever enough to know that sitting beside the seemingly haunted Nykal, a lithe woman in leather armor sits on the opposite side of Blodgett. She seems minimally armed, with only a pair of daggers visible.

She gives a quick head nod to Blodgett and says, "Hey there, I'm Miri. Not met you before. Is that book really that interesting? Just the title alone is off-putting."
