Merilessa "Meri"'s page

I don't know if you can answer this, but is there a place where someone who is brand, spanking new to PFS play but not PF can go to get oriented to how all of this works?

I'm trying to download the PFS Roleplaying Guild Beginning Box New Character Guide, and it won't download for me. I'm on a Mac computer running OS X Mojave, but I have the ability to unpack zip files and I can read PDF files, so in theory I should be able to read it once I can download it. For now, I'm going to wait and see if it just needs to go through some kind of processing before they can release it to me. I'll reach out to Paizo support if I continue to be unable to download it.

BUT...is there anything else you can recommend that I can look into?

This is my very first time doing PFS, and I have no idea what a track is. I'll need some extra guidance being a newbie, and I hope that doesn't make you wince too much! (Note, I currently play in a non-PFS Core-only pbp game elsewhere.)

Meri is a core character, a summoner druid, and I am currently planning a roc companion for her, though I'd be open to something else depending on setting. Note that I need to tweak her a bit, as she's currently set up for level 5. I also need to get all of her stuff added. I saw that there's a way to add that with some coding on the character page, but if you can point me to a template with the raw code, that would be very helpful. If not, I'll muddle my way through it.
