Before Birth

"Gifts beset gifts, and all actions demand an equal response," Mekkhar replied, "Our thanks to the The World Mother for this creature, and now we shall repay her."

Mekkhar walked up to Allianda, the Mother of the World, and gently placed the tips of his first right hand upon her lips.

"I, Mekkhar of Law, Lord of Oaths, hereby create a race of beings for this world. One of Law, these creatures will be Fair in manner, means and looks, and be powered by their Oaths and serve as my champions."

His voice echoed as he spoke, and he stepped back after the echoes subsided.

"If present company would excuse us, we must attend to some private matters," he said, and he turned to leave.

AP Spent:

5 AP: Legendary Life - The Fair Folk.

5 AP: Authoritative Adjudicator - Your god is a dispenser of justice both on the mortal realm and the divine. You are who the gods go to, to settle disputes. You are judge jury and when needed executioner. Sometimes negotiate and arbiter you carry great authority that is recognized by all the gods. Your god may add 3 dice to any stat if your god is the administrator of a pantheon.

"We will assist the secretive one in this endeavor," Mekkhar said, turning to her, "While she works on creating the written languages, we will focus on the spoken and nonverbal. Perhaps a collaboration is in order. What says the secretive one?"

Mekkhar extended one of his right hands towards Nunya, "You are one of secrets, while we are of structure and communication. What would be created from both of us would be greater than the sum of our parts."

A bronze mask, simple of features and with no mouth, was lifted from the Dwarve's work pile by invisible hands, along with a pale strip of cloth. As the cloth covered the mask's eyes, a tall man with three pairs of arms became visible, tying the mask to his face.

Around his waist hung a skirt of heavy cloth, held up by a thick leather belt, with a large sword hanging behind him. He turned his head to face the other beings, crossing four of his arms and clasping the last pair behind his back, watching them with covered eyes.

"Tides rise and friends appear. The mother-to-be proposes we create. She has plans, yet wishes for collaboration, which the one clothed in night agrees to, despite prizing her secrecy above all else. And beside them, a crystalline figure announces his curiosity."

Unfolding the arms in front of him, the man bowed his head slightly, "This one greets the others as Mekkhar.”

The man then turned to Glubokaya Gora. ”The Forgemaster has pledged himself to the World Mother’s cause. This oath has been observed before me, and it shall be so.” He produced from behind his back a large scroll, unblemished save for a line of writing – Glubokaya Gora’s promise.

"This one acknowledges the World Mother's offer and accepts," he continued, "If you would have me, I would give this world structure and, through it, strength."

Description: Paintings show Mekkhar to be a four to six armed figure, masked and blindfolded, with a large scroll in one hand and a dark quill in another. On his belt hangs a sword in an ornate scabbard, usually held by the hilt with his third hand. The fourth is held out at his side, palm up, with the first two fingers pressed against the thumb. The last two hands (if shown) tend to be either held open or holding items associated with whatever his worshipers are praying to him for. Clothing varies, but he is usually depicted wearing robes concealing the lower half of his body, leaving his torso bare.
