As someone who has only recently gotten to a few PAX Unplugged conventions (great tabletop con in Philly), I can see the appeal of the face-to-face. I’m a long time f-2-f player who has dabbled in online, but not taken to it.

I’d say 2 things as feedback:

1. Online anything, but especially cons, can be havoc for anyone who is not an expert. I was an IT professional for many years and still found all the links and signups confusing for another RPG con I attended (not Paizo). The experienced online players tend to just burn away and do their thing (they’d be doing anyway), and it doesn’t make for including new people. If this is going to be your primary delivery, invest some effort into a newbie track to pull in people who aren’t experts in online play and don’t know how to compete for time slots, etc.

2. I’m a longtime tabletop player who buys a lot of product from several companies. Paizo is one of my favs! Even after all these years, I’ve never been able to figure organized play out. I live in an area without a game store, is it now possible online? I can’t seem to talk my buddies into Pathfinder because it all seems so complex to them. Think about using this online con as a way to present organized play online (if that exists!?) to a large portion of your players that might not have ready access to game stores.

Also love the idea of this being more international. Maybe that’s a way Paizo can grow!

Is Siora Quinndove a known character? I can't place her.

Every question deserves an answer, even years later! I stumbled across yours in a search trying to remind myself where I knew Siora Quinndove from so I could use this mini in a quest.

You will find her in the Lost Omens Character Guide on page 126 as part of the NPC gallery where they give a few examples from the organizations in the book to throw into your game. There is a full page about her, including a small backstory, description, full stat block, and super cool art the mini was based on.

Oddly (maybe not so oddly), she is not presented or mentioned in the Pathfinder Society Guide that was put out later.

Hope this answer finds you well!

I'll echo what others have said - my players and I love these! I've long used some kind of token for re-rolls in all the games I run, but these are next level. When I play with my kids, they are always asking if they've earned one. I'll be getting all these unique ones to add to my collection, so keep them coming!

I'm intrigued by this idea and would definitely buy a quest book put out in this format. I'm in the period of my life where my gamer friends have families and we live in different parts of the country. We do get together and play, and I do run a campaign with my family, but I've run solo adventures to try different options and play adventures I know my group or family wouldn't have time or interest to play. You also have to realize that in many parts of this country there aren't game stores or active gaming groups. Not to mention, people have busy schedules and don't always have time to commit to a new group.

I just bought the Pathfinder starter set (I'm a long time D&D guy who's getting a little fed up with them finally) and I saw the small solo adventure to teach you the rules. It's in the choose-your-own adventure style. I like this style, but I would do a hybrid that mixes this with a traditional quest where the player could still use maps and minis. Just hide what's coming next somehow.
