GENCON was awesome! My oldest Son GM'd his first Society game this year and his first interactive special! It was a very proud parent moment when I over heard compliments from players at his table. It was my second oldest Sons first GENCON and he loved it and loved playing 2e. My youngest was higher than a kite when he rolled a natural 20 and got a Core Rule Book for free! Unexpected icing on the cake, came Saturday night when Tonya presented me with my campaign coin!

A big thank you to all the employees, writers, developers, GMs and players that create, produce, and bring life to all things Organized Play and Pathfinder have to offer!

I am jadedly optimistic that I may finally get my minis, even if it takes another year to get them! Late is better than never, especially after paying so much money for them.

Thank you to Vic, Eric and everyone at Paizo for working to make this right! Thank you to Sara and the other people in customer service for fielding all the questions and shouldering all the misdirected anger that you have had to deal with even though matters were not your fault and out of your control.

Ah-ah, ah!
Ah-ah, ah!
We come from the land of the ice and snow
From the midnight sun, where the hot springs flow
The hammer of the gods
W'ell drive our ships to new lands
To fight the horde, and sing and cry
Valhalla, I am coming!

Can't wait for the new book and to get my hands on some of those backgrounds!

Ran this over the weekend, it was awesome! The players all said they loved it and its a nice kick off for the season. Follow it up with 2-02 like we did and it really gets your second season off to a good start. I can't wait to find out what happens in future scenarios!

This strikes me as frankly very optimistic given Paizo's record on anything relating to their website and the fact they have been missing for months. If it was an easy fix presumably it would have already have been done by now.
The tech team is definitely working to get this up and live before GenCon so everyone can use their points.

I went to the ND booth last year. The booth minders were very nice and offered to sell me the pre-painted minis of the ones I was suppose to get from the Kickstarter. When I asked how come they had all of the pre-painted ones and why I couldn't get the ones I backed they said they didn't know but directed me to the "boss" who was wearing a ND polo. He acted very nervous and hemmed and hawed and finally when I started to ask him very pointed questions he actually excused himself and basically fled the booth! I am not kidding or exaggerating in the least. If I hadn't been so angry it would have been comical.

More specifically, the announcement included the fact that 3pps could start receiving materials so they can ramp up to support PF2 as of June 14th. I, personally, find that pretty exciting since it means there's a really good chance that there will be day 1 third-party support. Between that and the ludicrous amount of adventure material that's also going to be immediately available (3 scenarios, 1 special, 1 module, 1 AP volume) PF2 is going to have a strong chance to hit the ground running and ramp up to a really impressive depth of options for both characters and GMs in very short order.

Michael I was so excited to hear about all the products and how fast they were coming out! This is much better than the way you guys rolled out Starfinder. It seemed like content came out in a trickle and people had to wait forever to get enough content really get into the system. This model is much better as it will really let people jump in with both feet and experience all the new edition has to offer!

Thanks to you all for all the hard work you guys have put in to making so much wonderfully exciting content available to quickly!

I would like to thank everyone that has posted on this thread. It is great for those of us who could not attend to be able to read about the great time you all had, the people you met and the games you played. I also want to thank Know Direction for live streaming so many panels and asking questions that those of us at home asked in the chat! It really was the next best thing to being there. Like Hmm, I can't wait to catch up on the audio only streams that they recorded over the weekend.

I'm starting to put money back now so my wife and I can make our first pilgrimage to PaizoCon next year! Hope to meet many of you that I have only chatted with on the forums or played with in PbP!

Well, Pathfinder was the system I chose when I needed something to get our blended family of five children together to do something fun as a family. It got me back into gaming after several years hiatus and has provided many hours of fun and family bonding. The first AP we ever played together was Kingmaker! My kids, age 8-13 at the time LOVED the exploration and being rulers of their own Kingdom!

I love 1e and I will keep playing it probably for the rest of my life just like I do AD&D, but I am REALLY excited about 2e and can't wait play and run it! I also can't wait to get a Hardcover version of the first AP we played as a family!

This makes me VERY happy!

Thank you Paizo!

I for one don't blame you guys, sounds like you were between a rock and a hard place trying to get minis out for your new great game. So you went with what was available, even if they weren't your first, or second choice. The minis I did manage to get are pretty cool and I was really excited to get them, then the bottom dropped out.

Hopefully I will get the balance of my minis from them some day, but on the bright side I'm ecstatic that you guys finally have Wizkids onboard!

Thanks for coming on here to talk to us!

”I would be delighted to see your village and sample your hospitality AND more of this fine ale!”

Then to the rest in common, ”What say the rest of you? First contact anyone?”

With the groups approval he will tell Ylga to lead on continue to carry on a conversation with questions about the Marblehearts, their culture and origins.

I have to agree with Blake. Besides I'm not sure how much more Paizo can be engaged with the PF1/PFS1 community. I mean really, do want weekly updates to the rule set? A longer playtest period? Im at a loss. If you are saying that they shouldn't have done a new addition in the first place, or that your special whatever class/archtype/magic item/ect wasn't included in the Core rules, or I'm mad because....CHANGE then say that and we can talk about it.

Myself personally I have been in awe with the amount of engagement that Paizo has shown the community. The forum threads, the almost twice monthly rules updates, the sheer number of blog post to address concerns, are almost overwhelming to keep up with! My biggest gripe with the playtest is that speed and number of updates have made it hard for me to keep up with them in order to be adequately prepared to run the scenarios and provide my players with a great experience.

I am looking forward to the actual PF2/PFS2 rules and scenarios coming out at GENCON 2019. I am looking forward to continuing the stories of my PFS1 characters and can't wait to create new stories for new characters in PFS2! YMMV

I like option 1 for replays if we have to have replays at all then that's the one I will choose.

As far as the boon trade in or whatever, I also believe that if I turn in a GM race boon that I had to GM 5+ tables at GenCon to earn I ought to get one of comparable value, NOT a one or however many time mechanical value benefit!

As an aside, I have found that after the announcement of PF2 I have been GMing less PF1 and more Starfinder and I will continue to do so as I believe we are now in a time of diminishing returns for PF1. I also almost always take a SFS boon over a PFS boon if give the choice unless it is a race boon or something that I can use on a current PF1 character immediately. That's just my YMMV.

Again,

Option 1

Better or weighted Boon for Boon transfer system.

As you can see I am the Managing partner and Lead Attorney with Seven Systems Solicitation Services LLC, specializing in personal property, personal injury, personal emancipation, contract, and inter system law.

I have had the opportunity to use my legal acumen or successfully litigate in almost all of my missions for the Starfinder Society. At this time, I would like to assuage any reluctance you might have with retaining my services in the light of certain rumors you may have heard or read on the info sphere by being completely transparent.

Yes, I have been "officially" declared an Outlaw in a few systems and in small sections of the Diasphora. This is directly due to my successful pro bono work on behalf of fellow android brothers and sister in relation to their personal emancipation lawsuits. I can assure you that all rumors of me operating in an any official capacity for the ALF(Android Liberation Front) are patently false and totally fabricated by those wishing to cast aspersions on my good name and professional integrity!

The only thing you should have to expend from yourself to use a potion or scroll is gold! They are premade spells in a bottle or on a page. The creator of the potion/scroll had to expend/enhance/imbue ect their own essence into those items when they were created!
I get they are trying to get away from the "I hit him with 12 charges of the heal stick" after every combat, but there are better ways of doing it.
Limit the charges on the wand based on the lvl/cost of the item, higher the level spell the more they cost and the more charges you get before its expended. They are already give you the bolstered condition with certain things, just make CLW only useful 1-2 times on each person per day if you are wanting to limit its usage. You would need a CMW or higher wand there after. Or change the paradigm and make wands conduits/amplifiers for spells instead of ready made dispensers! Anything really besides resonance/focus/ect!
Less pools, points, extra systems keep things simple IMHO.

Things I like about PF2:

3 actions and a reaction
every class not having AOO automatically, makes combat more mobile and more dynamic!
Not confirming Crits!!!
The responsiveness of the powers that be to feedback from the fans!

Things I don't like in PFS:

Resonance period!
The appearance of nerfing/limiting magical items.
The struggle to keep resonance when it appears to be very clunky and widely rejected.
