I personally never stopped gaming in public, even during the height of Covid. I did play some online games when Big Cons went virtual, but I played in person when, where and as often as I could. I and several local gamers got together and held what we called FriendCons in AirBnBs so we could continue to game in person even when other "public" Cons closed their doors. I worked every day all during Covid, got the shot, got Covid anyway. I partook of Virtual PaizoCon Online the first time, and GaryCon online, and a certain few others. I quickly found I detest online play! It really adds another layer of unwanted complexity, preparation and separation to my gaming experience. I have and never will GM online games for those reasons. I never really care to play online again. I am greatly disappointed that PaizoCon will only be virtual going forward as I have forgone GenCon the last 2 years(due to Covid restrictions)and have been saving that money to go to PaizoCon. Oh well such is life. Hopefully the influx of capital from all the former WOTC players, weaker and weaker Covid strains, will enable Paizo to hold an in person PaizoCon in the future.

These were the first adventures that brought me back to tabletop gaming after a long hiatus. They were also the adventures that I ran for my blended family of five children aged 13 to 7 that help bring us together as a family and foster a love of tabletop gaming that endures to this day!

Thank You Paizo!

Just have to say I am SUPER excited to read this! This group of adventures were the ones that I ran for my children as their introduction to TTRPGs and Paizo adventures! They loved the storyline and we had hours of fun together around the table. I cannot wait for the Special edition to come out. Maybe I can get them all around the table for nostalgia's sake!

Thank you James and thank you Paizo for doing this!

Hello!

Please cancel my following subscriptions.

Starfinder Rulebooks
Starfinder Maps
Pathfinder Lost Omens

Not canceling in protest or anything, just not playing as much Starfinder anymore and would like to be more choosy with my Lost Omens purchases.

Thank you for your kind attention in this matter!

I think this is horrible news, but hopefully Paizo will prove me wrong.
I go to A LOT of Cons. I GM a lot at Cons. I love PFS/SFS! I have ran modules at Cons. I have done/ran Quests in the past and enjoyed them.

What I haven't done is play or GM a single bounty! I just have never seen the point or the attraction. Getting more things I don't/haven't used/played in the place of things I do use/like is not a benefit or cause of excitement for me at all!

As far as one shots go I think they are fun and make great Twitch/Youtube fodder to watch/listen too, I'm just not too sure about running them at Cons as PFS/SFS content.

I will also echo the sentiment that I feel a little thrown by the wayside with the perceived focus on more lower level/introductory content at the expense of higher level scenarios! Also my pumping out more level 1 content and curtailing 1-4,3-6,5-8 level scenarios you end up with a "what do I play now problem" for a lot of your long time players.

I guess we will all just wait and see how this all turns out since Paizo has numbers and data to show this is what the majority of people want. Hopefully I am wrong and my fears unfounded. Best case scenario would be this spurs so much new player growth that they HAVE to go back to the old model just to keep people in content to play!

SUPER DISAPPOINTED! This sucks so bad! I was already to attend and run more games than usual just to help out/take the place of people that would not be attending for various reasons. Can't even express how I hate this news! No reason to go to GENCON at all now and put up with whatever restrictions will still be in place if Paizo is not going to be in the Sagamore. Guess I should have seen this coming and not been as surprise as I was. Hopefully next year will be "safe".

If I can volunteer to run games for Paizo again at GENCON then I will be running games for Paizo at GENCON! Hopefully both Specials again and as many slots as I can sanely run. I will be running games at Farmaggedon in April and planning on running games at GameholeCon in October. Ready to get back to normal the normal Con circuit again!

Page 39 of the scenario that list the treasure bundles goes from level 3 to level 6. The scenario is a 1-4. Not trying to nit pick just wanting to let the powers that be know that it needs another run by editing.

I know its not a vote, but I cannot tell you how disappointing it is to have completed a great scenario and seeing a mostly blank page. It was a shock to say the least, a VERY unpleasant shock. I have no problem with the ACP system now that it is up and working, but the loss of chronicle boons is a profound one at least for me!

Killing of the chronicle boons IMO will hurt more than help. A lot of players enjoy getting boons the add flavor or options to their characters.

One of my favorite boons I received, added a third ear to my ratfolk in the middle of his forehead. It may not have added any mechanical benefit. It did add flavor to my character. The boon could be cured with a remove disease or curse, not sure which one, if you wanted to.

If chronicles are going to be something that just track adventures, gold and what not. Might as well just move to a single sheet that tracks multiple adventures.

I loved that one too! It allowed my Swashbuckler got to have six fingers on his right hand!

I can hardly wait till the end of the month! These classes represent three of my favorite characters to play. Alexandria Andrpov my witch, Ernesto Vencini Caparina swashbuckler extraordinar, and Thadeaus Grimm classically trained investigator!

Will they continue into second edition? Will a new breed of heroes step forth? I can't wait to find out!

I cannot wait for this to finally be completed! Kingmaker was the first AP I ran for my children. As a blended family, kids aged 13 to 8, I needed something we could all sit down and enjoy together and not be competitive. When I told the kids about an AP where they could be explorers and start and run their own kingdom they were super excited.

Years later most still play Pathfinder pretty regularly. My oldest is a great GM in his own right. Hopefully we can all sit down together and relive some of the nostalgia and good times in the updated setting! Maybe I can even get a crack at playing!

Great news and great art! Super excited!

I run a lot of PFS/SFS. I have tried them on a few scenarios. I find them clunky, harder to transport and they take up way to much time to set up! I would rather have flip mats. I usually just print off the map rather than messing with the tiles. But that's just me. I could see using them for a home game. But for me the extra time to set up and collect them vs unfolding/folding a flip mat during Convention slots makes it a non starter.

Something that I have been doing since GENCON 50 is taking a photo of my session sheet before I turn it in. I DO THIS EVERY TIME! That way if there is a problem, months after the CON, or if it takes months to for a report to show up, I can send the person responsible/VO/Organizers a copy with my email pointing out the problem.

I believe this will have to become the rule instead of the exception going forward in Organized Play.

This supposes that there is a 'correct' way to sanction.

I believe there is a "correct" way to sanction a module and my opinion is that the way Plague Stone was sanctioned is "wrong". Again my opinion. YMMV

Why can't they just sanction the Module correctly, like they sanctioned the PFS1 Modules? This was obviously a poorly thought out, slapped together attempt to stop people from asking, "When will Plague stone be
sanctioned?" time and time again. I mean, it doesn't even have a PFS2 reporting sheet in it! The Keepsake system(NOT a fan) should at least be items that are actually that, Keepsakes you can only find in the module itself! Not items you can buy out of the Core Rule book.

PLEASE! Reconsider this and go back to the old sanctioning format. Even if I have to wait I'm fine with it, if you do the content justice and make your GMs and Players feel their time was well spent all the better!

I'm kind of thinking this should have been titled the Good, the Bad and the Ugly! Perhaps I'm in the minority, but I would have rather waited for sanctioning and the three or four chronicle sheets we are use to than ONE compressed chronicle. It is hard to not feel cheated. Should we just stop after Part one of the module and call it good?

If you couldn't do it justice, why just not tell us that we will have to wait and do it right? I'm also not sure how gung-ho myself or any of my fellow players will be to run AP's now if we are only going to get 1/4 credit for them. Why bother with running as PFS at all?

I don't like this "new" sanctioning model and hope that we will return to the way things have been and IMO aught to be done. I was excited and now I'm just disappointed.

Unfortunately, I think you are under the misconception that Paizo is there to promote Organized Play when in fact it is the other way around. Organized play is there to promote Paizo products and book sales! Yes it has a large following and yes is has a rabid fan base, but as other posters have said it is first and foremost an engine to sell Paizo/Pathfinder products! I love organized play, I play and GM quite a lot of PFS/SFS and I'm a subscriber of WAY too much stuff, so I feel your frustration! I'm right there with you, but PAIZO's dollars and sense issues, staffing issues, edition roll issues, ect are not our purview. All we can do is wait, and waiting is often the hardest part.

First off, KUDOS to Heather and the reporting team! The timelines, responsiveness, and reporting in general is head and shoulders above the last two years! I am happy to say that all my tables that I GM'd are entered and showing correct in the system

However, I am missing two games I played in and if they weren't 2nd Ed and worth ACPs I wouldn't bother.

I am missing my Thursday morning PFS2 1-01 Absalom Initiation, and Sunday mornings PFS2 1-03 Escaping the Grave. When I get home tonight I will send an email with the GM's name and # to hopefully help you find the sheets.

Thanks again for your hard work and responsiveness.

I'm sure that Tonya and the powers that be will have the "official" ruling and word for us soon. Until then all we have are opinions and best guesses but no facts. Since the ACPs are not live yet it really doesn't matter for the nonce. Wild speculation seems to just be making people sound angry at each other when no one knows how things will work yet! We will all just have to wait and have patience till the rules clarified.

Most of the criticism I have seen so far, seems to be from people that have not really dug into the new rules and found things like Rysky just commented on. Or they are just taking something they have heard and jumping on the "I don't like it cause its different bandwagon!" I still play PF1, I still play AD&D, so play what you want to, but at least take the time to learn the new rules so you will have educated gripes to make.
