History:
Marc was born to a slave of Lord Versilius Thrune, and grew up a slave himself. Even as a child he was rather big, but often bullied by the free children of his Master. Without the ability to fight back, he had to come up with some other way of coping and usually tried to hide. He was not often successful but endured the beatings and ridicule stoically. He served as a stonemason and common laborer and grew even larger and stronger over the years. His Master's son, Antonius, had several large debts and started to attempt to pay them back by using his father's slaves in the underground bloodsports. Marc, being among the strongest of the slaves, was chosen to fight along with a few others. He won more than he lost and after a while, Antonius' debt turned into profit. Recently, Marc requested to fight in the Spring Dies Irae. Antonius was, of course, furious, but Versilius allowed the slave to participate in accordance with the law. He was upset with his son for using his slaves in such a manner, but pleased when Marc emerged victorious. He honored the former slave and asked him to take the name of his father, Baradin as his family name. He then purchased a sword, shield and armor for the young man to go along with the winner's purse. While Marc openly worships Asmodeus he also adheres to the faith of his mother and worships Erastil. He's also quite curious as to how the country actually works. Having lived most of his life with a very limited point of view, he now revels in the ability to ask questions and learn how other people live. Appearance:
Marc Baradin stands over six feet tall and is built like a brick. The years of being a gladiator have left many scars upon his body, but nothing particularly disfiguring. Still, he strikes and imposing figure. His sword and armor are plain, but his shield is made of red dragonhide and bears the mark of House Thrune's. He wears a red cloak with the symbol of House Thrune featuring prominently and is often wearing a tabard showing his allegiance to Cheliax.. Party Treasure:
