About Magnus Leifson

Appearance/Personality:
Magnus is a large, well built Ulfen.Everything about him is loud, from his deep booming voice and hearty laugh to his shocking red braids and colourful clothes. He wears banded mail and rides a warhorse in Scale barding. He carries a lance and shield while mounted, but switches to his greataxe when not. he also can use a bow, but prefers to charge into combat with his lance. Having grown up in an isolated community, he is somewhat naive and trusting.

Background:
It was quite a scandal when Margo Lebeda married Leif Erikson. While the family did consider disowning her, he was not - quite - intolerable, so he was granted a minor border fief to maintain but excluded from family business otherwise. Magnus grew up to revere his father, a Paladin of Erastil, and followed in his footsteps. His brother, Erik was due to inherit the fief but Magnus inherited only his name and his steed, arms and armour. Looking for a place in the world, Magnus came across the news of the charter to settle the Stolen lands. Feeling that this was a suitable test of his mettle, he applied.
