About Lysander "Ly"Below is a 20 point buy lvl 1 Human Rogue The Idea behind Lysander the Martial Rogue:
Lysander is my attempt at a more combat based rogue since Kingmaker from what i read is minimal on the traps and devices side of things. So i decided to go for more combat ability. He is able to feint as a move action and so every round he can perform a sneak attack against an opponent. Thus dealing maximum damage in early levels and decent damage later in his career. Before Combat Ly usually looks for ways to defuse violence when possible--or, failing that, the most opportune way to turn it to his advantage by using whatever weapon or feat is best for the situation. During Combat Lysander prefers to close in with his Dueling blade and feint his opponents and sneak attack them as many times as he can every round. If they prove to strong against his attempts at bluffing them and he's taking too much damage he will fall back on his Comp. Shortbow and try and weaken his opponents from range. Morale: Lysander believes in living to fight another day, but will not abandon his allies because during his training under his Sword Mistress he learned the difference between living honorably and dishonorably. He'd rather die, then dishonor himself by abandoning his allies or those he has sworn to protect.

Normally Ly is hidden behind the hood of his traveler’s cloak, trying to hide the nasty scar that splits his eyebrow and upper cheek down the middle of his left eye. When not hiding, he sports a full head of light blonde hair which he keeps purposely short, he has green eyes and his looks are only spoiled by the four inch scar on the left side of his face. His clothing is always plain in brown and green hues to better match the countryside. He always carries his dueling blade on his left side, because he is right handed, and has a short-bow cased on his back. Underneath the clothing he has a flexible and lightweight frame, built for quick jabs and precise strikes. His body is also covered in several scars, all old but apparently healed without treatment or with very minimal care. His hands and fingers bare several scars as well and at times in cold weather Ly unconsciously rubs them together like they’re sore or hurting. Some of his story: Its kinda long and hopefully its not to boring.
At first Restov was a city of weak thieves and fools, so Ly immediately went back to his foolish antics until he crossed the wrong group of thieves. These thieves were part of a larger thieves guild in the city and Ly’s antics were starting to bring more heat down on they’re operations, since he had refused to join them he had to be removed. Being a lone thief like he was should have been a death sentence but somehow he kept bringing down his would-be executioners with quick feints and precise strikes with his knives. Even though he won some small encounters in the back alleys, each fight had began wearing him down and his injuries were adding up. When the guild finally decided to send a more skilled member after him, Ly was a wreck and could barely stumble his way thru the streets let alone walk or run from his pursuers. Like always when night fell they closed in, they could have taken him while they had been shadowing him throughout the day but their M. O. was only to act at night and get scarce during the day time, the lieutenant who had been sent after him was a vicious woman. She delighted in playing with her prey until the begged for death, she used her blades with brutal efficiency as she toyed with him, her goons laughed as he stumbled and tried to defend himself. She mocked him repeatedly whenever he fell down from another debilitating strike, at some point she grabbed him by his shoulder length hair and picked him off the ground just high enough so she could drag the blade of her dagger vertically along his left eye. Luckily she wasn’t pressing hard or else she would have blinded him but it had the intended effect, Ly was terrified and wasn’t ready to die. As she dropped him to his knees and left him clutching his bleeding face with his cut-up hands, she laughed. Just as his bravado fell away and he opened his mouth to start begging he heard the sharp ring of steel being drawn, their was an audible gasp from the lieutenant as some of her goons muttered something about a swordlady or some such. As he looked up with his good eye this mystery woman was a blur of chain mail and dual blades as she brought the lieutenant low in a few moments of intense combat. The goons were still in shock as she moved on them with the efficiency of a squad of swordsman. Many of them never left that alley before her blades found them and she showed no mercy to them, even when they begged for it. It was brutal. When everything was finally still and quiet, the swordwoman cleaned her blades on one of the dead absentmindedly as she eyed him. As he tried to stagger to his feet she came over and pressed him back down on his knees, just as a group of heavily armed guardsmen and a young priest stormed around the corner weapons drawn. That was the day he met Sword Lady Iandoli Seltyiel. That day she gave him a choice, amidst the protests of the Priest of Sarenrae – Live as her Apprentice (more like indentured servant >=( ) or Die. The choice was easy; also it came with unforeseen perks… She made Ly keep most of his scars and especially the one across his eye, as a reminder of his new beginning, of new life. Eventually questions arose of the relationship she had with her ‘apprentice’, luckily it was around the time that a new charter had opened up. Scout and chart an old territory in the name of Brevoy. Sounded interesting and it would help his Mistress to save face if he left on an important quest in the name of Brevoy. Also it would save her from the wrath of her betrothed if he focused his attention on a runaway apprentice. Whether he told her or not that he was leaving is up to others to decide, because he isn’t saying a word. Source Books Used in the Creation of Lysander::

He doesn't have any recollection of what happened and thankfully she was still passed out. That night of drinking is hazy after the ninth or tenth drink of hard Dwarf-proof rum. She never could back down from a challenge and neither could he... T.T;
