I think my Epilogue is: Lyntel is finally overcome by the behelet, and is ultimately freed by Archepex. Analogy: I'm thinking kind of a reverse Jacen and Jaina Solo thing.
Let's first reach out to Moosh before calling it. He posts on reddit, and has posted much more recently than he has posted here. I'll follow up with him by PM and get back to you all.
As the party climbs back on the stags, Lyntel vaults on the back of Milo's steed. You will keep me awake. Tell me your story. I suspect it will be worthy of song.
It's a Wildelode. But it's been twisted. Frankly, it shouldn't even be here. They are normally placed at the border of Elven lands to encourage productive species and hinder invasive species. She gestures to the surrounding metal forest. It looks like this one is having the opposite effect. She turns to look at Grigor's blade. Hmm, Grigor, do you think you could destroy it? It might let us know whether the obelisk is corrupting the balewood, or the balewood is corrupting the obelisk.
Lyntel walks towards the obelisk under her own volition. It can't be. It doesn't make any sense for this to be here. It looks like ...
Lyntel begins singing, forcing tendrils of magical energy to reach out towards her companions. She strides forcefully towards the obelisk as her voice rings clear among the metal trees.
Lyntel starts at the music. Impossible! She knows the tune well because she has been tinkering with it for weeks. She has never shared it with anyone. As the melody darkens, the whispers turn to verses in her mind. Verses of a dark future, of the fall of the elves, and the death of Archepex as he is consumed by the Balewood. The lyrics are mocking ... taunting.
Lyntel feels a pressure behind her eyes, and unintelligible whispers in her ear threatening to draw her attention away from the present. She shuts out the whispers, in the hopes they are merely her imagination.
Lyntel grins at Milo when she briefly catches his eye, and then dismounts and approaches Dhice. Do you think you could pinpoint the source based on changes in the amplitude of power discrepancies?[b] She catches herself speaking entirely too quickly and blushes. [b]I mean, maybe the difference between the spikes and valleys of your connection grows stronger the closer we get to the ritual. Do you think you could lead us to it? She calls up to Archepex. Do you really think the Balewood could be manipulated by a Skaven ritual? Surely this is beyond them.
Grigor, your weapon still calls you forward, into the Balewood. You almost think you can hear whispers in your head (This way, hurry! There is little time!), but that would surely be madness. Milo, it looks like there is a button on the bottom of the silver sphere, surrounded by Elven script. Do you speak Elven? What will happen when you push the button?
Lyntel sits nervously on the back of an enormous stag, looking from Emma to Dhice, from Grigor to Milo, and finally to Archepex, standing tall in the treetops overhead with his generation. She clamped down on her feelings as her paramour left. She had thought it to be a temporary liaison, but that has become more and more unclear. As they say goodbye to the Elven city, Lyntel's mind wanders to her first meeting with this group, watching through a red haze as they tore through a room full of Skaven. Her eyes linger on Emma. Hardened by fire, they had become something ... different, and a bit terrifying. But most of all, that had become a team. Archepex's signal overhead breaks the elf out of her reverie. The stags follow the treerunners towards Shatterspike Ridge without guidance or hesitation. Hours pass at a smooth gallop, and Lyntel focuses on her ballad, scribbling furiously into a small notebook. She nearly drops her stylus as the stag comes to a sudden stop. They are still deep in forest, but overhead Archepex has spotted something. Archepex, why have you called us to a stop? Dhice, the strength of your connection with the elements here seems to spike and wane at random. You've experienced something like this before. When and where? Milo, Lyntel catches you studying something of intricate Elven design before you can stash it away. What have you taken from the Queen? Emma, you feel a connection with the surrounding trees, almost as if they hum with the same pain that you carry. What has happened here? Grigor, your weapon literally hums in your hand, and seems to be pulling you forward with a sense of great urgency. What do you do?
I agree with Dhice. It is time to repay our demons.

In a high, clear magically-projected voice Lyntel begins singing an ancient Elven song of courage and triumph over the Fel. While most believe it to be nothing more than an allegory, Lyntel knows that the story of Hedoun the Second Born is all too real. Hedoun led the Elves against a Fel invasion tens of thousands of years before. It is a story of Elven triumph, but the crowd is hesitant to join in. She looks to Archepex to join his Generation in the song. As the verse begins where Hedoun swears his life to the First Queen, Lyntel gestures for Emma to approach the Queen.
Lyntel marches towards the courthouse with unbridled enthusiasm, somewhat tempered by physical fatigue. Easy, you are not 75 anymore.
At breakfast, Grigor mentions an odd vial. Can I see that for a minute?
Hmm... Dhice have you seen something like this before?
Lyntel is agape at the scene and pulls out a notepad. She begins furiously sketching the absurdity of it all.
Lyntel smiles at Archepex as she approaches and looks approvingly at his new companions. I am Lyntel. Would you all join me for breakfast before the Queen convenes her court? She begins peppering the two elves with questions about themselves and about Archepex. It isn't everyday that you meet the childhood friends of the subject of your magnum opus.
As the sun rises, Lyntel spends an hour in deep concentration with her mother's spellbook. When satisfied, she says goodbye to Hirohim and seeks out her companions at the tavern.
Didn't Emma take bags of gold from the Skaven Queen's den?
Could we roll loot for the Queen fight? Maybe the queen let's us have first pick of the spoils.
Lyntel ends up entangled. Hirohim ends up ensorcelled.
Guys, guys. This whole Behelit thing. Not a big deal guys ... I WILL KILL YOU ALL ... Seriously nothing to worry about.

Mine sounds good. Don't forget Grigor. Mooshy is pretty lenient with bonds. Have as many as you want with as many people as you like. By the way Mooshy, have you ever tried replacing bonds with flags? I'm thinking of trying it for the next one-shot I run.

Thank you, my Queen. I will do as you say, as always. As they exit, Lyntel smiles at Milo. Thank you for your offer. I saw you save the Queen's life. A satchel toss of legends ... Or it will be when I am through. As far as I am concerned you are one of us. She eyes her quarry in the crowd outside. I believe I will be fine tonight, but look forward to spending tomorrow evening with you. She melts into the crowd and makes eye contact with her stagrider as she approaches him. She takes his hand silently and they disappear from the public square. She does not sleep this evening.
Nervously, Lyntel relates her experiences since becoming a captive of the skaven. She focuses particularly on the bits about the behelit, and her nightmares. I was almost lost last night. I beg you, do you know of anything that could help me? I do not think I can survive another night.
As the room clears, Lyntel packs away her notebook and kneels with eyes downcast. Forgive me, my lady. I have an urgent, private matter to bring to your attention. I fear it cannot wait. She waits for a response, clamping down on her fear.
Lyntel steps backwards as the Queen and Archepex speak, and pulls out a small notebook. She begins furiously dictating the interaction. She knows that it is not her place to speak, but this momentous occasion must be recorded for posterity.

Lyntel takes a step back from the Queen and kneels with eyes downcast as the Queen comes around. Lyntel whispers gently. My Queen. Take your time, you are safe. Faldren seems to have held you under magic compulsion. He and Wildsong were working with the Skaven. She points to the gem. The traitor awaits your judgment.
Lyntel tends to the Queen, leaving tactics and fortifications to those that know of such things. Although, she does look up long enough to make eye contact with her quarry and smile before returning to her work.
Lyntel opens the gem again.
If this battle is not yet over, the Queen may be safest inside. Or we could toss Wildsong and the traitor in with him. What should we do?
Lyntel gasps in shock at Emma's actions and rushes to the fallen elf. If it still breathes she will sing a mournful dirge.
And moments ago the Queen was under compulsion. . She puts a calming hand on his shoulder. We should at least see what they know of this threat. It must run deep. She returns to the Queen's side, humming a lullaby her mother used to sing.
Lyntel approaches Archepex and speaks quietly. In cold blood? He is still an elf. Perhaps he was simply deceived, like the rest of us.
I already called it a Defend roll, plus I can only give you a +1, so it would still be a 7-9 result.
This is going to hurt! Lyntel braces for Wildsong's impact, taking the full brunt of the blow. Miraculously, she avoids being thrown free by grabbing onto the Elven traitor and holding for dear life.
As the two are wrapped up, she begins humming feverishly through the pain.
Brother, traitorous Elven guards assault the Queen! Aid us! Save the Queen!

Archepex, could you put your max HP in your tag line? It will make it easier for me to coordinate healing.
As she notices Grigor's gambit, Lyntel changes the focus of her song's magic to distract Grigor's target.
Lyntel steps right back in front of the Queen. Down my lady!
The bardizard then begins singing a line from a ballad of Githrael, the Betrayer, a villainous elf who until this day is still used as an example for elven children. The familiar song makes Archepex's adversary hesitate for only a second.
Forgive me, your highness. Lyntel takes a step away from the Queen, with both hands in the air.
