Lwazi swiftly picks himself up off the ground and keeps attacking the creature's nearby head with claws and horns, trying to finish it off while it's vulnerable.
Not sure if I have to spend a move action standing--if so ignore all but the first attack.

Lwazi is caught off-guard by the mist from the leg, but dodges the worst of the creature's breath.

Lwazi little likes the look of the beast now, but he thinks their best chance still lies in killing it quickly. Which means charging back into melee with it.
He does so, aiming at its most-injured leg as he does so, hoping to cripple the creature enough to at least slow it down.

Small parties are *very* different--any kind of temporary disabling effect becomes much more dangerous, and of usual "parties have more actions than enemies" assumption can be turned on its head. Basically, we'll need to be cautious and careful about our engagements if we want to survive.
...it'll also be interesting role-playing to have our party reduced so much. The idea of being trapped here was bad enough with five or six people. With only two, how will we keep our own morale up?
(Tormenting your characters is fun sometimes, what can I say?)

Hmmmm... for me, I mostly want Lwazi to slowly be mutated into a cool hybrid monster. (Poor Lwazi :D) Obviously we've got that set up with his corruption, but I certainly wouldn't mind having some unexpected twists at some points on top of his corruption.
I do like the idea of the more unusual boss monster battles, too, particularly as Lwazi becomes more of a boss monster himself. :D

Unfortunately that's often what you have to do with play-by-posts. My Hydra game has gone through stages like this--I think only one player in it was in the starting group.
