About Lucas Malius

Lucas has had a hard lot from early on in life. He was born to a poor family in a destitute town. By the age of 8, his parents had both passed away, and he was left to beg in the streets. The mild comfort of the street lamps lasted less than two years before he was chased out as part of an initiative to improve the town's image.

Somehow, Lucas managed to survive at the outskirts of society. While his physical and emotional growth were stunted by hunger and isolation, he grew up quickly in the ways needed to keep himself alive. At 13, however, an arcane spark manifested within him. After a brief period of experimentation, Lucas pulled forth a devil from another plane.

The cordial devil introduced himself as Tet Malius, and offered the boy his surname as a gift to commemorate their meeting, as Lucas had none of his own. Tet then offered to serve as Lucas's tutor and guardian, in exchange for his continued stay in the material plane. Over the next few years, Lucas was taught manners and how to integrate into polite society. He remains sore about his stunted growth, which Tet never was able to fix.

With his temperament healed well enough to rejoin society, Lucas now seeks to improve his arcane abilities as Tet plays the long game, seeking to have a powerful summoner wrapped neatly around his claw.
