Im following up on my post regarding this order which is part of my subscription and I never received. Please reshape it. Thank you.

I have yet to receive this order. I verified it has the correct delivery address as I have moved. I had expected it by now. Thank you.

The circumstance: I have a tier 1 archmage. He declares the following action, I charge and use a wild arcana mythic surge to cast color spray with a swift action. My first instinct is that wizards can't charge and cast a spell at the end of the charge. But as I discuss it with my player and research it a little. I can't find anything that forbids it. The distance to the enemy is 50 feet, the spell cast at the end of the charge is color spray. I'm now on the fence on this. My gut says no way I should allow this but my more reasonable fun guy person whose not trying to be an anal retentive DM thinks I should seek a second opinion or expertise. Anyone got input for this? Thanks in advance. :-)

Hi guys I have updated the shipping address for my stuff., I just checked and my active address is correct. But my current order is going to the wrong address. It says it is going to 4533 and should be going to 4153. Can we get that fixed before it is shipped on the 20th?

Thanks

Lee

Hello paizo, I
had the unfortunate. Experience of suffering from a stroke on jan 1 of this year I have been in the hospital since then as well. I also had to move in with my brother as the doctors thought I was not quite ready to live on my own yet. I was not able to receive my deliveries from paizo since I was not at home. What can you do to assist me? Thank you very much.

Lee

1 person marked this as a favorite.

I remember buying the D&D Blue Box at Spencer's in a small mall in Michigan. It was an impulse buy in a specialty store that had nothing to do with a genre that was in the infancy of its birth. I was 13 then. I'm now 45. My life has been through many changes from marriage and parenthood to facing the very real possibility of dying for my country. In that time, I've watched a passion of mine grow, change, grow again and become something that might be able to persevere into generations beyond my own life time.

There have been so many systems, rules, variants on rules that it really doesn't matter any longer that a fantasy genre is based in the past, present, or future.

Gamers exist on all social and economic levels now. You don't have to buy anything to become a roleplayer. Its a social community now. I've literally provided dice and books to new players who want to play. I know I'm not the only one. DM's....craft players. Players...develop DM's.

Were I to subscribe to a greater spiritual awareness, I would say the first has generated energy for the many and affected all. Gamers are rather karmic as a group. So many believe in the energy of that die or set of dice. Bards of Gamemastery create such passion that other's will endeavor in a pastime that they would otherwise ridicule.

Sometimes it feels worse to be a gamer than being gay. LOL.

Old timers are proud of their investment in a hobby that can be so outside the lines. New players are what many of us were years ago when there was not web resource, internet, and companies such as Paizo to break ground and invest in our passion.

We, collectively, have embraced something that still reveals itself in a world that doesn't like change an acceptance.

Somewhere a few years ago, a small group of people who understood this and knew, trusted, embraced, this passion along with thousands of others, probably now hundreds of thousands of gamers and called themselves Paizo.

I truly believe Paizo is a gamer company who provides a service to gamers. We are new, we are old, but we are all Gamers.

Paizo, you have forged a diverse community into a business. An old time gamer like me has remained loyal to you because you've embraced a tradition and not a business. You've remained true to what TSR, Chaosium, West End Games and so many others have built and bred. Where will you be in 5? 10? 20 years...I cannot predict. I do hope that the spirit you embraced will continue on today and well into our future.

Innovation and change will always imbue what we embrace tomorrow but in my experience its the day-to-day gamer that grows an industry relies on group participation.

I'm that day-to-day gamer and I very much appreciate you've bravely embraced what is the essence of a gamer. Gamer's will tolerate so many bad things but they don't tolerate a bad DM.

You've been the best DM to come along in years, perhaps a decade or more, and I thank you for this.

Good job Paizo. I happily remain a loyal customer because you've been a loyal gamer.

Lord Silky.

I'm sure this question has been asked and answered somewhere but I couldn't find it easily so I'm asking...

Does an order of the HC Players guide come with a free PDF for download? I got my e-mail for the order last night and I was excited to download my new book and low and behold there was no option for that under my download area.

Thanks.

Germantown MD (near Washington D.C.)

I will DM and host. I will play and host. I'm looking for 3-5 gamers in my area to get back into table top gaming. I've been at it for decades but only PBEM in the last few years.

Drop me a note if you are interested and I'll contact you. I'm looking at 1-2 a month Friday or Saturday night sessions.

I hope to hear from you.

Thanks.

Hi Cosmo,

I wasn't timely in updating my credit card info after my card expired in Jul and it seems issue 25 is 'pending' because of it. It would be awesome if you or one of your minions could 'free' it to me. My card info is up to date as a few weeks ago.

Thanks!

Thanks Paizo! You guys are simply awesome.

Hi Cosmo,

I haven't recieved Order # 1048124 yet. Its been 30 days now. Thanks for any assistance you could provide and Happy Thanksgiving!

Hi Cosmo,

I received my Pathfinder #5 & #6 but instead of getting U2 Hangman's Noose, I got another copy of J2 Dragonfall. Can you send me U2 and a return mailing slip for my Dragonfall. Note, I did get the PDF download just the incorrect paper version.

Thanks.

Silky

I've yet to receive this order. It says shipped on Nov 5 and its now Dec 11th. Can you give me a status on this order?

I have a couple old friends of mine who are also long time gaming buddies that like to play Fantasy Football. This year we missed out on our regular league so I set one up for us but we need some more teams. I'd hate to lose out on tormenting them for another season...

So, since you are also fellow gamers...I'd like to invite you to join our league. I have room for nine more teams right now.

It is a Yahoo Fantasy League. Its called Dungeon Dwellers (ID #551158) and the password is lorisa (all lowercase). IT IS FREE. You don't have to pay anything for this.

First come first serve. As soon as the league fills, we'll do the draft and the trash talking can begin.

Thanks in advance for joining.

Hello,

I have a suggestion for you to regarding the adventures you publish. Have you every considered selling the adventures indivdiually as electronic PDFs?

My thinking here is you already convert the magazine to PDF format after the paper stock is used up. So maybe it could break down a little further into individual downloadable adventures.

The upside for me the customer is I could pick and choose from hundreds (thousands?) of high quality adventures and pull them down for a reasonable price. I could select ones at the levels I need for my campaign. I could select ones published by my favorite writers.

For you, well it would be my hope you would make more money and enable your team and the module writers to keep bringing us tons of high quality adventures at a reasonable price.

Well, I read a laundry list of players that annoy DM's but I can assure you (as a 25+ year DM and player) that they do not have the market cornered when it comes to annoying habits. Here are some DM habits I've seen from others and one of my own from all those years of gaming.

1) If you checked for traps, this DM rolled a d20 for the number of traps present. If you didn't check for traps, there were no traps.

2) Escape from Stone Troll. Our group was started in this village called Stone Troll. We met the locals and then decided to go out and explore. An ogre showed up to deter us. We killed the ogre and another showed up instantly. Perplexed, we complained to the DM and he said he wasn't ready for us to leave the village yet. *chuckles* So, as a group we were annoyed and one of the players as a joke tried take a pee at a tree outside the village and the battle was on. The DM started throwing ogres at us by the tons and the players rebelled. We tried to burn down the village tavern by climbing on the roof and lighting it on fire. A giant troll bashed our heads in and we were all dead. We fell out laughing and never played for this guy again.

3) Stat Sucker Door Guy - His doors and portals liked to suck your stats away from your characters with no save. We dreaded doors of all kinds. We found better things to do and soon left this guy.

4) My annoying habit: My dungeons used to be spotlessly clean. No small rocks, sticks, or other useful things were available. I got hammered by my players and they made up a group of orcs called ACME Orc Buffers who cleaned all my dungeons of useful debris. They would tell me they heard the hum of the buffers as the orcs worked feverishly to get things cleaned up before they arrived in that part of the dungeon.

We still have a good laugh about all of these to this day. :-)

I'm a DM looking for a group of 4-6 ladies or gentlemen who want to get together once or twice a month on a Friday or Saturday night for some gaming. I've been doing RPG's for 25+ years now. Format would be D&D 3.5. I don't mind teaching new players. Drop me a note at leevroman@yahoo.com or post here and I'll contact you. Thanks. :-)
