So for funsies, I'm having a character set up a portable bar cabinet in a bag of holding, lined with liquid ice to keep it cool. Aside from the bag of holding, and liquid ice (which I can find the prices for) how much would approximately cost to well stock this bar according to this list? http://pathfinderwiki.com/wiki/Alcoholic_beverages
I should make a note. I am not ineffective, and my lack of effectiveness compared to the casters is not diminishing my enjoyment. I can deal close to 3-400 damage in a full round attack depending on crits and good rolls, I am just wondering if players had suggestions on good items to make sure I keep effectiveness up. MOSTLY what I'm worried about is defenses however. Mind control, polymorph and stat drains are always worrying. Are there good items to get to defend against these states? Or ways that allow me to get off full round attacks more easily without being used as a ranged weapon by the Sorc (via telekinetic charge (not that I'm complaining ;) )).
So my post EOTT fighter just started into Rasputin Must Die! with my local game group, and so far I am having a blast! However inbetween 12 and 13 I have noticed a big gap in capability between my Martial and the parties Casters. In EOTT I was able to hold my own capability wise but now in Rasputin there is already a big gap. Maybe I just havent had the best situations to dish out the carnage yet, but I just wanted to gather some opinions. What in your opinion are some MUST HAVE items in high tier for a 2hander crit fighter to have?
In an unnamed adventure my character managed to make quite an impact on the red planet. Deciding to incorporate it heavily into my characters story (and my next character, who is his son) I'm trying to find resources to learn about the history and features of Akiton, specifically around the city of Arl. Where can I learn about the history of the planet, and more specifically Arl?
My regret is my paladin. Jumped 1 level into fighter for Tower Shield Prof and then went for a straight AC build. Unfortunately his AC didnt scale to enemies hit bonus, and his damage was WAY too low for his level. Got super boring to play, but was fun to play at low levels with close to 30 AC in a 4-5 tier. Local GM's made it a goal to get him naked in scenario's, and with 7 wisdom, it was not too difficult!
My party had a good time with this one too. Spoiler: Our party consisted of a a crit fighter, a splodey sorcerer, a life oracle, cleric and bard Basically we had a TON of endurance and staying power. We kept casting different resist energies on the party, but got tipped off when the Phoenix kept changing types with the ring as a focal point as that, so instead of killing the Bird we went after the Geppa. Decided to non lethal her down so to get some information, after exploding Cale (what a dick) and got the ring off her. Surprise surprise when it joined our side! I asked if I could ride it into battle, it refused, so I then let it go. Sad.
I have a similar experience in that this was VERY hard. My party managed to get through in high tier but it was very close on many occasions. This is one I would definitely advise you not to play unless you are very familiar with the people your playing with. No PUGS at a convention. Luckily my group had done the entire Cult of Lissala meta plot and were intimately familiar with each and had a SOP.
Deacon goes over the contract presented. "All of that is definitely acceptable. Its mostly how I run my own way of living to begin with! Sounds good. He notices Thebethia and her departing daughter and grabs an extra cup of of tea, and offers it to her. "Tea? And maybe some input? We should always listen to our elders so we can learn from where you have already failed. That way we can make brand new mistakes of our own!" And he mutters to her.
In Elven: "I used to promise my parents I'd stay out of the sewers too. I lied.
This seems like something that could be amusing in a real time chatzone of sorts. Does anybody have any suggestions? Deacon happily sits back watching the proceedings. I am a warrior, and a diplomat, but I am no politician. I will happily agree to the suggestions of others and go with the majority. My contribution will be enforcing and defending the ideals we live by, whether using my wit and guile, or my blade. I will however take a stance on wanting a cup of that tea! He graciously accepts a cup, but unlike Master Solail, he does not drink with such incredible reverence, but is otherwise very polite about it. Very much appreciate Lady Gabrielle! He raises an eyebrow at the discussion going on in Tien, but pays no mind to it. No sense motive check is needed in that he greatly trusts everyone around him, despite not knowing anyone.
A tall heavily built man strides in, bearing the heraldry of the Eagle Knights on his cape draping exquisitely over his ornate full plate in. "I trust that I am not too late?" He bows deeply to the room. "I am Lord Deacon Williams, Knight Captain of the Eagle Knights. He smiles. "I have been permitted to retain my rank in the Knights, but have since left for this court to re-inherit an ancestral title. He glances around and nods to all present. "I haven't heard all that was discussed, but the one suggestion I would make is that we have no one central personality guiding us. I originally joined Andoran, and the Eagle Knights from a desire to do good, but I left as I had no desire to be a pawn in the Majors machinations. We need to keep our egos in check, but not dominated. We all made it here through our force of will and the influence we have gathered through our nobility. Let us use this, but not have it ruin us.
This is good to know! I'm planning for my next character to be my present characters son. Off topic, but if my present character has the Lord title boon, and lordships are hereditary, does that technically mean I can attach the Lord title to my characters "son" but without any stat benefits it would entail, aside from having a neat name? |
