What about a week night in the next week or two. Meet between 5-6 and bang it out.

Agree with Zach. We could complete with Eradan as NPC. Unless you are able to fix the credit for the scenario or add the Prestige points due. I would really like to finish this one and get the credit to advance this char to lvl 2. You already have this in our Sessions list as completed (mine is actually shown twice but once without credit) but with no recorded Prestige points, which I would like too.

So can we:

1. Complete with NPC Eradan? or
2. Disband party/scenario and have session removed from record? or
3. Call it complete and have Prestige added to the recorded Session?

Let us expedite this scenario. Eradan still watching/posting? Shouldn't be much left to this scenario I would think. Whataya think Felts?

"You may need a blade to chop up that scaly, Lucent!", Linux chides. "Snakes don't make very good archery targets, my friend!"

"Come friends! Join the melee!", the over-confidant warpriest urges.

Linux steps up the the closest of the Lissalans and prepares to engage.

"Are you too busy to die?", he taunts.

Attack: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (20) + 5 = 25
Confirm crit: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (14) + 5 = 19

Base damage: 1d8 + 4 ⇒ (7) + 4 = 11
Crit damage: 1d8 + 4 ⇒ (4) + 4 = 8

Linux looks at the bloodied Lissalan with a smirk of triumph. "Who's next to feel the wrath of Kurgess?", he threatens the remaining enemies.

Linux nods in agreement with Lucent and prepares for the fight. With a grin spreading across his face, he moves in front of Lucent and into the room to swing his sword at the closest of the Lissalans.

Initiative: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (13) + 6 = 19

Linux....moves....and finds a couple doors. He listens outside one of them for noises.

Listen: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (5) + 8 = 13

Before leaving the basilisk's lair, Linux takes a quick look around for anything of importance or value that he may have been guarding.

Perception check: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (9) + 8 = 17

When finished there, he also looks around the room further down the hall with his companions.

2nd Perception check: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (13) + 8 = 21

Once both areas have been searched, Linux prepares to back-up Lucent in case he finds another challenging adversary ahead.

"Thank you, Lucent! Once everyone has recovered from the lizard's curse, shall we carry on?"

Linux slumps forward, leaning on his blade protruding from the basilisk's neck. With a show of effort, he composes himself and withdraws his blade.

"I believe we shall need to bleed out this creature to save our comrades from the affliction of its gaze." he declares as he begins to drag the carcass towards the group. Once there, he opens a greater wound in order to more easily gather blood. He beckons to Raphael for assistance as he turns to the closest of the petrified companions and begins to wipe the basilisk blood on the statue's head. He continues to apply the gore to his fellow Pathfinders until they are all flesh once again.

In an effort borne of sheer desperation, Linux attempts to finish the beast...

Aversion: 1d100 ⇒ 87
Fort save: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (17) + 4 = 21

Attack of Desperation: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (16) + 5 = 21
Damage: 1d8 + 4 ⇒ (8) + 4 = 12

...and scores a solid blow!

"Fear not, Raphael! Victory and salvation is within our grasp! Kurgess be praised!"

Linux looks equally drained as the basilisk takes a bite out of him (2 hp remaining). He takes another swing at the beast, but this time finding a surge of strength...

Avoiding the deadly glare of the basilisk, Linux slices at the scaly beast's hide...

...and lands a solid hit!

"We'll be done with you yet, by Kurgess!", he exclaims.

You are correct, I should be at a +3, but if you recall, I am suffering from a loss of Strength from the fish-beast encounter. If you say that the effects wore off then...huzzah!

It appears that Linux's attack of opportunity has fallen short, but for his regular attack...

Noticing a possible lull in the action, Linux attempts a surprise EXTRA attack against the basilisk! (Or just count this as my next action...)

Well now that we have that well documented, I have moved up, which would assume I had to at least make the one roll above so I could see where I was going, averting its gaze. And yes, I would have definitely drawn weapon after breaking through the gate, before approaching the target. So can I safely assume that my above rolls pass and I am in melee range, waiting for Raphael to take his turn? If so...

Assuming the basilisk is still alive once Raph has gone, Linux attempts to swing at the basilisk.

So we broke into the cell with the basilisk and I moved up towards it. I don't get why there are multiple rolls for averting gaze is all.

Unsure now which roles I need so here's rolls to avert gaze and save vs. petrification.

Linux attempts to move forward to confront the beast in order to save his friend. "Righteousness shall prevail!" he cries.

"One needs not see to perform a feat of strength, my friend!", Linux nervously cries as he prepares another attempt.

Linux mutters a prayer to Kurgess for the Guidance to perform the feat of strength necessary to bend the bars.

Strength to Bend Bars: 1d20 + 2 + 1 ⇒ (15) + 2 + 1 = 18

With eyes squeezed shut, Linux drops his shield and reaches blindly for the bars in hopes to bend them enough to gain access to slaughter the monster and rescue his friend from his stony prison.

A couple things....first, Linux has not looked into the bars yet and is still holding his shield between himself and the barred doorway, behind which the basilisk resides. If you still need rolls for this...

Linux continues to stand with his back against the wall, shield held to continue blocking his line-of-sight to the beast, and watching his companions.

...and second - I am in Youngstown for the next couple days. My dad is having heart surgery and I may not get to check posts much. Will keep up as I can.

Linux raises his shield up in front of his face and moves up to the edge of the bars keeping the party from reaching their new foe. Avoiding the gaze of the beast after seeing his friend become a statue and his friends' cries, he considers his options.

"I hath not a projectile weapon to assist in slaying this monster! What can I do to help?!"

"Aye, and I shall follow thee, Master Eradan."

"Since we need to sabotage this transaction, I would agree that we deliver these artifacts to the Pathfinder Society when our mission is complete. In the meantime, we could possibly burn down the tattoo parlor that functions as the entrance to the Lissalan's lair and leave an article that would incriminate the Consortium for the travesty!", Linus excitedly plots.

Keep forgetting to type my responses in notepad first. Frustrated because I had a lengthy post and lost it. Will try again in the morning cause I am pissed at Paizo's site.

"Indeed! Methinks we should proceed into the Lissalans' lair with a show of respect and humility. For once, I believe that should approach this challenge with finesse instead of force. What say you, Master Pendragon?"

Has anyone else had issue making posts over the last few days? I keep getting error page when I preview/submit. Takes a few attempts to get something through.

"Aye, let us make our delivery and proceed with the mission."

"That appears to be the dagger in question. Madam, in the future, I would suggest that you not get into bed with the Consortium. It does not a beneficial union make if you do not intend to pay your debt owed.", Linux smirks and winks at Shorafa. "I am sure Jenk will be able to bet into you box when it pleases him."

Linux snickers at his unusual cleverness as they begin to exit the chamber.

"Huzzah! Well done, comrades! Today, Kurgess felt it best to bless my friends with a victory. For this I am thankful. Father always said that even in Kurgess' grace, every dog may have its day."

Linux claps his friends on their shoulders with one hand while slamming down another fresh mug of ale with the other.

"Shall we move on then?"

Following Eradan's lead, Linux grabs an ale from a passing bar wench, chugs it down rapidly, and slams the mug down on the nearest table.

"Again!". he exclaims more boldly.

Strength: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (1) + 2 = 3

And Linux's grip on the stool slips and he drops the stool. He looks at his own hand, clearly disappointed in his performance.

Feeling more confident, Linux utters another prayer to Kurgess for Guidance and grabs for another stool...

Strength of Stool Lifting: 1d20 + 2 + 1 ⇒ (19) + 2 + 1 = 22

...and easily hoists one into the air. "Another six cups!", he shouts.

Dexterity of the Waiter: 1d20 + 0 ⇒ (4) + 0 = 4

It almost seems as the cups start to fall faster than they can be added. Linux seems crestfallen and drops the stool where the cups land on the floor. He grabs the closest mug of beer and slams it down.

Constitution of Rapid Consumption: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (8) + 2 = 10

Constitution roll: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (7) + 2 = 9

Linux closes his eyes for a moment, whispering a prayer for Guidance from his deity as well. When he completes his prayer, he opens his eyes and a huge grin splits across his face.

"I shall start with six cups as well, good sir!"

He hefts a stool in preparation, as they begin to load the cups onto it.

Strength: 1d20 + 2 + 1 ⇒ (17) + 2 + 1 = 20
Dexterity: 1d20 + 0 ⇒ (2) + 0 = 2

He seems to easily lift the stool and cups, despite his recent poisoning, but his balancing? Not so good.

"A contest?! Of course! Show me the way, sir!" Linux cheerfully follows Arnando and Lucent towards the contest arena. "Kurgess, guide my hand and aid me to win in your honor!"

"So is to be the Publican House or the Silken Veil next? The Publican House sounds like it may be able to aid in my new-found affliction."

"We'll carry on and pray to Kurgess to find a means by which to lift this corruption that has befallen me! The priests here will answer for this treachery!"

Linux angrily stands, adjusting to his slightly weakened condition. "Let us conduct what business we came here to do."

Does the Strength recover then now that my blood has been cleansed by the Grace of Kurgess?

As the poison starts to run its course through his system, Linux drops to one knee, his sword falling from his hand.

"Apologies, my friends, but I believe I may need to rest a bit. Kurgess, guide me..." he raises his eyes and hands towards the heavens and utters a prayer to Kurgess to heal his wounds.

Casting Cure Light Wounds: 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (2) + 1 = 3

Linux swings his sword back to try and finish off the beast.

Backswing attack: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (14) + 4 = 18
Damage: 1d8 + 3 ⇒ (1) + 3 = 4

Linux takes a stutter-step as his sword makes contact with the creature. As the poison from creature's claw starts to take effect, he feels slightly weakened.

"Methinks I've been envenomed..."

Linux swings his blade in a wide arc towards the remaining creature.

Confirm crit!: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (10) + 5 = 15

Regular damage: 1d8 + 4 ⇒ (7) + 4 = 11

"Take that, lobster-lips!"

"Seafood with a bite! How fascinating!" Linux declares as he dances with his sword and the lobster-clawed temple guards.
