Lily botting for Duke

Duke bot first round drinks potion of invisibility and moves into the room.

Second round Duke full attacks with flurry of blows after Tal moves into position.

Unarmed +14/+9 ; Att 1d8+7 Dmg (+7 BAB +6 Dex +1 AoMF; +6 Dex +1 AoMF)

power attack 1d20 + 14 + 2 + 2 - 2 ⇒ (18) + 14 + 2 + 2 - 2 = 34 for 1d8 + 7 + 4 ⇒ (5) + 7 + 4 = 16 + 2d6 ⇒ (4, 1) = 5 sneak if possible
flurry attack 1d20 + 14 + 2 - 2 ⇒ (9) + 14 + 2 - 2 = 23 for 1d8 + 7 + 4 ⇒ (7) + 7 + 4 = 18 + 2d6 ⇒ (6, 5) = 11 sneak if possible
iterative 1d20 + 14 + 2 - 2 - 5 ⇒ (18) + 14 + 2 - 2 - 5 = 27 for 1d8 + 7 + 4 ⇒ (4) + 7 + 4 = 15 + 2d6 ⇒ (5, 6) = 11 sneak if possible

Pummeling Style (7th Level) (Combat, Style) Whenever you use a full-attack action or flurry of blows to make multiple attacks against a single opponent with unarmed strikes, total the damage from all hits before applying damage reduction. This ability works only with unarmed strikes, no matter what other abilities you might possess.

Debilitating Injury (Disoriented: –2 attack + –2 more vs the rogue)

3rd bot round for Duke is much the same but with inspire up.

power attack 1d20 + 14 + 2 + 2 + 2 - 2 ⇒ (17) + 14 + 2 + 2 + 2 - 2 = 35 for 1d8 + 7 + 4 + 2 ⇒ (4) + 7 + 4 + 2 = 17 + 2d6 ⇒ (1, 2) = 3 sneak if possible
flurry attack 1d20 + 14 + 2 + 2 - 2 ⇒ (11) + 14 + 2 + 2 - 2 = 27 for 1d8 + 7 + 4 + 2 ⇒ (1) + 7 + 4 + 2 = 14 + 2d6 ⇒ (3, 6) = 9 sneak if possible
iterative 1d20 + 14 + 2 + 2 - 2 - 5 ⇒ (8) + 14 + 2 + 2 - 2 - 5 = 19 for 1d8 + 7 + 4 + 2 ⇒ (2) + 7 + 4 + 2 = 15 + 2d6 ⇒ (3, 5) = 8 sneak if possible

Enjoy!

Enjoy and have fun!

Good luck Krayn. We will try and keep you alive till then

As soon as Mera makes it past Tal Lily approaches with arms open. Mera, you are too kind to bring wine to our house. You know from last time though that I don't have the discerning taste that you have. I would not know the difference between any of them. None the less Lily is too polite to refuse and takes the wine and brings them to the kitchen. Calling back, I insist that select the bottle to open since you brought them. Are you wishing the red or the white? Whatever Mera decides Lily pour a large glass for Mera and a much smaller one for herself. Now dear, I must apologize. We just got home a few short minutes ago and I have nothing ready for a meal. Perhaps I can make a light meal of sandwiches though.

if no one makes the perception check:

Lily carefully peeks out like Tal wondering what is going on. Seeing the party arriving she lets out a little gasp of recognition. She then steps out from the corner dragging Tal reluctantly with her. Tal it is your friends from the play that you told me about. I wonder what they are doing out and about at this time?

lol, tell that to Mera!

Pollux, Lily is still cooking her food for people so you are welcome to come back over as long as you don't burn the place down.

Right on cue Lily does indeed deny wanting or needing anything from the group. If it is too much of a problem then don't even concern yourself with going out of your way to find anything for me. I am quite happy with what I have and Tal more than provides anything that I could want anyways. I was in doubt when he first mentioned joining this group but I have come to see that he is more alive when helping the 'cause' and he worries less about money as well. I mean look at it from our perspective. Not in 20 years did we think that we could save enough money to start Tal's blacksmith business and yet here we are with one already just a few short weeks into joining. Add to that is the fact that Tal believes that real change can be made with the group for the betterment of the whole city. It is really quite exciting when you think about it that way.

Nodding in agreement to the idea of tea and talk Lily gladly accepts Mera's offer. That sounds lovely although I really don't think you want to hear about how we came together. Not at all that interesting for you. How about I tell you our story and you can tell me about your first time on stage?

Girl talk can fast forward if you want at this point.

Yes Mera one of these days you are going to roll a 1 on your bluff and Lily will be there to discover the real you. Until then you have her swindled.

Lily waits and watches as Mera talks to the crowd gathered there. Eventually Mera dismisses them and turns her way. Returning the smile that Mera gives her Lily accepts the embrace and kiss on the cheek but does not return the affectionate greeting. She listens carefully to the words of praise about Tal nodding along but frowns slightly at the mention of receiving Mera's message. Yes Tal does have a steady hand and a steady personality as well. It is one of the many characteristics that I love about him. Once he has committed himself to a course of action it is not easy to sway him and he is determined enough to see it through to the very end. It is nice that you notice and can appreciate such traits in him.

I am sorry though as I did not get any message from you. I got the message from Tal after the play that all was well and that he would not be home due to the lateness of the hour but I had no summons from you.

As Mera offers the necklace Lily looks at it with another questioning look. It is so kind of you to say that. I am flattered, honestly I am . The gems sparkle and shine like nothing I have seen before. I have touched something so costly let alone had it offered to me freely. When Mera slips it over Lily's head though Lily backs a step away. No really I appreciate the offer but this is too much. Thank you Mera and Monday and Naberius as well for the offer but I can't accept this. I would look silly wearing something so grand. I wouldn't know what to do with it and would feel awkward if others see me with it. She unclasps the necklace and hands it back to Mera.

I do not wish to offend you by not accepting it but all it would do is sit I the house and I would never wear it. It would be better instead if it graced your neck as the necklace and you seem to better suited to each other. Raising up her arm Lily reveals a dainty charm bracelet made of silver and only 3 small semi precious gems. Tal had already gotten me a bracelet that seems more my style.

The offer of the necklace seemed to have the desired effect that Mera was going for as Lily had switched from being more aggressive verbally to apologetic. Speaking of Tal he told me what you said to him this morning about his hands. He seems a bit put off by it so I came here to speak to you about it. I want to apologize for him as I know he meant nothing untoward in his actions. He did what he had to do in the situation to see that all survived. He told me how he literally threw Calseinica from the device to save her and I would imagine that he would do more to save you. Again, please accept our apology for any discomfort that such an action may caused to you. I can't say he would not do the same thing again if the situation demanded it but know that he thought it was for your best interest to do what he did.

Lily looks almost ashamed now as if talking about Tal touching Mera in such a sensitive way would get them both in trouble. After all Mera is nobility. that and a 35 bluff gets you a long ways!!

Lily enters along with Tal but unlike her husband she does not make for a quiet corner and wait. Instead she jions the crowd near Mera waiting for some time to talk to her. Arms folded she leans against the wall tapping her foot with a small scowl on her face directed at the diva.

Hey give Naberius a break. All he is doing if trying to give Tal another outlet to vent his frustration upon.

Thank you NAberius for taking Tal's feelings and emotional state into consideration.

sorry, no pun intended but quite apt for the second act.

btw, I like how quickly this play is progressing. WE are whipping through these lines nicely without any delays. Keep it up!

Lily smiles at ermolos to show that there is no reason to apologize. Think nothing of it. It took me months to get TAl to even know what a napkin was let alone how to use one. Just take care of yourself and listen to Tal. That will be repayment right there knowing that both of you are safe.

Packing up a small loaf of bread and some hard cheese Lily wraps it in a towel before placing it in Tal's pack. Just in case it gets to be a long day and you need something to tide you over. Also if you are going to be out adventuring with Tal then you will need a pack of your own. You can use mine as the straps can be lengthened to accommodate you.

Finished with her duties she turns and gives Tal a peck on the cheek. Keep him safe and yourself as well. I plan on having a hearty broth stew tonight.

Lily takes the night cap and enjoys the woman-talk for a bit. Afterwards she goes to the doorway and casts her usual waking spell should someone try to enter in the next 2 hours she will be alerted. She then returns to find Tal waiting up for her as is his custom. Once comfortable she drifts off to sleep with Tal.

Lily lets Tal go and watches Monday and Naberius leave as well. That left just Mera and herself in the room with Janiven and the sleeping Areal. Looking at the 2 women Lily smiles at them. Thank you both for trying to keep the peace. I know Tal appreciates it even if he is not saying it right now. He is stubborn as all men are and lacks the refinement and sensibilities of us women. Do not worry about him in the morning either. He will cool down and be ready for whatever it is you have planned.

At the offer of a nightcap from Mera, Lily extends a glass, Why thank you again. I will enjoy one myself. I heard that it helps one relax and calms the nerves. Perhaps we should have a ready supply tomorrow night as well should we need it?

RichD:
Hearing the truth in Janiven's words and tone and seeing the truth in her eyes Lily nods her head in reluctant agreement. While I can not say that the best course of action was taken as far as informing myself and Tal together I can understand why you took the approach that you did. It is sometimes easier to convince 1 and let that 1 convince the other than to try and convince both at the same time. I will speak to Tal and I am sure that he will agree to come back to the group and help out.

Leaning in conspiratorially Lily nods towards Tal and the room with the others. Honestly I don't know how you do it. If I were you I would have tried to recruit just women. They are a lot less stubborn and can work easier together.

Straightening back she looks for Vitti, While I try to keep my talents to myself and Tal I will talk to Vitti to see what his thoughts and outlook is. It must be hard for a natural spirit to be confined inside at night and in a city no less. He must be starving for change.

Leaving Janiven Lily goes to talk to Tal. You can see them quietly converse a bit before Tal crosses his arms defiantly. Lily shakes her head and points towards Janiven. Tal shakes his head no again but not as strongly. Again Lily says some more before grabbing his hand and dragging him over to Janiven. Before they get there Tal gets his hand free from Lily but still comes along. We talked it over Janiven and have agreed to both join you and your cause. I even talked Tal out of drawing this Raveen's blood should Tal somehow get upset again. I can handle myself and don't need him to protect me while here in a shrine among people that hold to the same ideals. If that is acceptable to you then I think we can return to this issue with the Bastards. Lily will walk away letting Tal follow as she goes to the door assuming that Janiven agrees.

Janiven:

Nodding to Tal that it would be ok for him to sit and rest Lily gives him a hug. Don't worry Tal. From what I have gathered this is a time for a woman to woman talk. That is what you wanted was for a chance for me to speak with Janiven. I think it would be easier for her to talk freely without others around right now.

Going with Janiven Lily takes stock of the place, the old shrine of what once was as the home for a movement for the future of Westcrown. The symbolism wasn't lost on her as had grown up in the city and had seen some of the decline that Janiven was talking about. You speak as one who has experienced all of this first hand and witnessed it like I have. You speak truly when you say that there are those of us that have a duty to the people of Westcrown. While I do not let on to many of my nature, and neither does Tal for that matter, my heart is with the people here. Even since I can remember I have longed to see Westcrown freed from the night terrors that roam freely. There is no greater disruption to the natural order than these things. From what I have heard there is no solution to them. Yet there are smaller cancers that can be removed to allow nature's way and Westcrown to continue. The Bastards of Erebus that Tal mentioned to me is one such cancer that you seek to excise. I see nothing wrong in taking such action against these that hide in the night and prey upon the city.

Leaning closer to Janiven Lily's eyes twinkle as her wisdom and perception take over where Tal may miss such things. I know that you do not need my blessing by any means for taking action against them as this is your group and your decision. So I must ask, why are you coming to me now to talk woman to woman and not earlier when you invited Tal? Further more, why take action now of all times? Is there something that has happened or some knowledge that you have to make you act now rather than wait another month or year?

Not that Lily distrusts Janiven as she senses a kindred spirit (urban ranger perhaps with an urban druid) but is curious as to another agenda.

Sense motive 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (10) + 5 = 15

Relaxing back Lily looks up and waves to Tal that she is still safe. My husband does his best to look after me and I do my best to take care of him. In everything we are together and this would be no exception. Laughing at the thought Lily continues, This must be important to him to bring 2 women and a ghost into our house without me knowing ahead of time. You should have seen the look on his face and heard his voice when he tried to introduce them to me. I knew something was up but had no idea what it was until he started explaining it to me. I love that man dearly but when he gets flustered about something it is impossible for him to talk straight. I got most of the tale from Monday and Mera and you have confirmed it. Before I return to Tal and we join the others, what would you have of me?

Lily is easier to convince than Tal is ironically. Perhaps it is her being more perceptive of others or that she does not worry about Tal like he does of her. Regardless she is willing to go along with Janiven and help out.

RichD:

Not knowing what just happened but having been around her husband long enough Lily does not question Tal at the moment. There would be enough time later on the walk home or once they reached the privacy of their house. The walk would give Tal a chance to relax and clear his head before he had to relive whatever it was that just happened. She had a good idea that she was the cause of his pain in some way. Only those that you care for could elicit the reaction Tal was having. Placing her hadn on his shoulder she gives him a small squeeze in support.

At the Mainz' house:

The mood had changed quickly once it seems that Mera had convinced Lily that Tal was as safe as possible in joining the group. She would no longer have to move as she feared and Tal was in essence getting a raise. She still had her doubts about what the group was actually going to do, but for the time being she was content to go along with it and meet with Janiven. If what her husband said was true, and she believed him just not sure how it would happen, then this was a cause that she would like to see prosper and flourish. Their success would translate into a better Westcrown and a better life for themselves. Whenever they started a family it would be with the hope of a brighter future as well.

Grabbing the peaches and the wine Lily brings them out to the living area for the group to partake. Mera are you sure you don't want anything. After all we have reason to celebrate Tal's new job and to thank you for it.

Not being much of a drinker Lily pours herself a small drink to keep it from going to her head.

Calling back from the kitchen, Oh, I am sorry Monday, but cherries are not in season right now but I do have some peaches if you would like? Would you prefer something to drink as well? I have some ale and a little wine. Nothing to satisfy your palate though Mera.

Thankful for something to do Lily gives Monday a quick glance as she rises. If my hunc is right, that woman has something completely else on her mind and she isn't shy about it at all. Moving towards the kitchen she asks, Is there anything in particualr you would like Monday? I have some fruits but not too many. Otherwise I can make sandwiches for you. Mera, I am sorry that I have nothing up to your standards but what I have is yours if you don't mind.

Fidgiting under the scrutiny from Monday, Lily tries to her best to remain cordial. Wh, why th, thaank you for the compliment. But what I meant was, would you be using my husband as well other than to have him as part of your group?

sense motive on Monday's look 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (17) + 5 = 22

1d20 + 5 ⇒ (3) + 5 = 8 perfectly times to fail ;)

In the heated exchange with MOnday and with her husband, combined with the shocking demonstartion by Tuesday, Lily had almost forgotten about the other woman Mera. It wasn't until she stood and commanded the attnetion of the room that Lily took full notice of her.

Mera wrote:
She raises her hand with her dainty fingers pointed towards the ceiling. "I've kept my piece until now, but I would like to add something if I may."

Lily nods her head politely at the refined and diplomatic woman indicating that she is willing to listen to what Mera is saying. As Mera talks Lily's eyes get a bit bigger in recognition of the Wist-Thrune name. Not sure of how this is going to change matters she bides her time and continues to listen.

As Mera continues on Lily's demeanor goes from worry to distrust to finally astonishment at the thought of Tal getting such a lucrative job. such is her astonishment that she completely misses Mera's veiled wink at Tal. Gathering herself and trying to sound composed her voice is think with emotion as she realizes what this income would do for her and Tal. It would be the start of affording some luxuries and preparing the way for any children to have a head start in life. I don't konw what to say other than thank you. I didn't know that Tal was so sought after as to have such a job. I knew he was good at his job but I never knew how good.

Throwing her arms around Tal she gives him a fierce hug and a passionate kiss as it seems the stress of the last while fades away. Braeking from the embrace she adjusts her apron to look more presentable even though her eyes a glistening. Sorry, I didn't mean for that to happen in public. I was just so overcome. I, ah, assume that the details are still to be arranged as to his hours but that is something we can adapt to.

Wiping her eyes with the apron she looks at Monday and Tuesday and back to Mera. Sorry if I missed something but I am curious though as to what this has to do with Monday and Tuesday being here. Is Monday a Wist-Thrune as well and looking for Tal's service? This has to be related to last night and this morning doesn't it?

Money talks but so does a 25 diplomacy on top of it. :)

will save vs faint 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (18) + 5 = 23

Lily looks first to Tal then to Monday waiting for whatever turn of events was going to take place. She was sure not expecting the tall silent man to walk through the wall. It was all she could do to not faint at the sight. What in heaven or hell are you and how are you apart of all this. Oh my god this is not right not right at all. Somebody please explain this.

sense motive 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (8) + 5 = 13 So close...

Lily looks quickly to Tal for confirmation as she finds this almost impossible to believe. But why would you do such a thing? Now for sure you are labeled as traitors and will be hunted down. Killing a hellknight of all things. Flopping down into the remaining chair Lily places her face in both hands. Talking more aloud to herself than anyone else in the room everyone can hear her. We will just have to sell everything and leave the city. My father won't be happy that we are leaving but I can tell him that Tal got a different job as a caraan guard or something along those lines. Its not as if we have such established jobs that we couldn't find something some other place. We would have to sell the house quickly and find a ship that is available for passengers. I could cook to help pay for the travel expenses. Where would we go though?

Standing up Lily starts to make a sweep of the room, It doesn't matter where as long as we get away. Just need to focus on packing up what we can take along and if we can sell those items that we can't. Turning to Monday and the rest with a sad but determined look on her face, I am sorry but I am giong to need you to leave as Tal and myself have a lot to do and a very short time to do it. I wish you the best and hopefully your group does some things to improve Westcrown.

Thankfully for Tal Lily puts a finger over his lips. Your rambling dear. We will talk about that later but right now what concerns me is this morning. Turning to Monday as Tal is too tongue tied at the moment to talk straight, What exactly did happen this morning with, I am assuming, the hellknights. And is that why my husband is injured?

lol, Oh you naughty, naughty Monday/ Good thing you kept those thoughts to yourself.

Lily face relaxes slightly when Monday corroborates the story that Tal told her. Not that she doubted him or that she believed that Tal would lie to her but another voicing the same thing was reassuring in and of itself. Yet Lily was not ready to relax completely as Monday mentioned this morning. Pouncing while she had the opportunity to Lily looked first to Tal and then Monday as she asks concerned once again. What do you mean by return the favor and interrupt one of their meetings?

Monday wrote:
Standing their with her hands clasped in front of her she rocks back and forth smiling until an errant though she almost forgot strikes her. "Oh! And the reason Tal's helping is because he wants to make Westcrown safer and happier so that you two can become a family."

Waiting for an answer she is caught off guard by what Monday tells her next. Shooting Tal looks that a mix of love and embarrassment Lily doesn't know to be proud of her husband or tell him off for airing their personal lives to people. Instead it is a mix of both as she answers Monday even though Monday never asked a question I didn't now that Tal was so open about such matters to others. But thanks?!?

Listening to her husbands words Lily's worried expression over Tal's wound take a back seat to what she just heard him say: traitors. Clearly missing more of the story she has no clue as to who this Janiven is, why Tal is talking about being a traitor or not, who the others were at the meeting, but more importantly why is Tal mixed up in this? Half formed questions keep trying to make their way out but Tal just keeps rambling on as is his want when nervous.

Not able to get a word in to ask questions for clarification Lily is forced to wait and continue the job of bandaging Tal's arm. Just as she finishes Tal stands up and heads to the door opening it and inviting strangers in. As is the case when there is too much to digest at one time autopilot kicks in and lily found herself greeting the 3 people as they came in as well. It wasn't till the extremely tall man bowed and walked past her without a word that she recovered her wits. Looking at the women in particular she does not hide the fact that she is scrutinizing them closely. Excuse me for being blunt, but exactly who are you and what does this all have to do with my husband and therefor myself? It was suppose to be a business meeting last night and now I hear that you are all traitors or worse. This last part is clearly in response to Monday's inflection of words and the look on her face.

Sense motive on the three strangers Tal brought home 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (3) + 5 = 8

Apparently Lily is too concerned over Tal to notice much else at this point.

sense motive check auto make...

Coming from the kitchen Lily appears with her hair tied up to keep it out of her face as she has on her cooking apron over her traditional pants and blouse. A look of concern on her face as she hears the difference in her husbands voice. Moving quickly over to him wringing her hands in the apron to clean them quickly she asks/tells What is the matter Tal? I go t your message last night and you should be ashamed of yourself. Sending a lad to carry a message to me at that time of night. I know you were trying to be kind and let me know what was gong on but the risk to that poor lad wasn't worth it. Now you come home earlier than I expected today. You should be at work right now. This isn't your day off. Have you been fired?

Grabbing her husband by the arm she pulls him to one of the 2 chairs in the room and sets him down. As she does so she can't help but notice that there is still a gash on his arm that was not healed from the skirmish that Tal and the others were in earlier that day. Lily starts in on another welcome home rant. Before Tal can cut her off she gets the following out. What has happened to you? Tal, don't you sugarcoat anything now. Not after some of the other stunts that got pulled while you were on guard duty. Did someone try to jump you while escorting what's his name? Let me get you some gauze for that. At least it doesn't seem too deep this time.

Lily beams at the sight o Morosimo scarfing down not 1 plate but a second as well. To and her were not rich or even that well off but there was enough money to have enough food on the table. That and she knew some tricks with how to prepare and keep food a little longer and not let it get spoiled. As the lad gets ready to leave lily asks him to deliver a message of her own. If you do see my husband just tell him to stay safe and be smart. I know he is not happy with his current joba and is looking for something different. That is why he went to go see this 'J' last night: a business meeting. I want him to be happy but tell him to make it home tonight. Roast beef and potatoes is on the menu.

Having gotten her way Lily's stern countenance fades as she now smiles at the boy. You won't be a fuss unless you try and leave. Over there is the wash room to clean yourself up. By the time you are finished I will have everything ready for you.

perception on Morosimo for age and weight 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (5) + 9 = 14

Seeing that he isn't that old Lily's heart softens even more. As she goes to grab the blankets she can't help but feel sorry for the lad. Out here running messages inteh dark just to make some coin. Dangerous work indeed. She returns with the blankets and a bowl of stew that has since cooled from supper earlier. Leaving it on an end table Lily heads to bed herself and lets the food sit there for Morosimo.

Lily sighs with relief at the news about her husband. He was a big man and knew how to survive ina srap but that didn't mean much when it came to the terror's that stalked the night. At least he was safe for the night. Turning back to Morosimo, Thank you for the news about my husband. It is quite a relief to know that he is safe. but now what are we to do with you? I can't have you go back outside at this time of night. That just simply wouldn't be acceptable of me. No, I think the best option is I will bring out some blankets and you can spend the night here on the floor. In the morning I can cook you some breakfast as payment for your message delivery tonight.

The look on Lily's face brooks no argument as her arms are crossed in front of her. Morosimo would also be aware by the tone in her voice that it wasn't a question of him staying the night. It was a direct statement.

What is he doing out this late? He told me he was going to be home sooner than this. I hope for his sake that this meeting was what he was looking for. I still don't know why he didn't tell me more about... Lily stops her thoughts as she undoes the latch of the house and opens the door. Instead of her husband standing there it is a boy that she as never met before. Her immediate reaction was one of confusion that was quickly replaced by fear. Looking around outside past Morosimo, Lily sees nothing at first. Reaching out a hand she grabs Morosimo and pulls him into the house. Closing the door behind her she turns to the youth with a stern look, Where is my husband? He was suppose to be here over an hour ago. It is now dark so I can only hope that he is someplace safe and knew better than to try and risk the streets at night. That still doesn't explain who you are though or why you are here.

Lily is a slendar woman with a pretty face and long dark hair. Normally more reserved to strangers the sudden situation has caused her to become more stern than normal. If it wasn't for the fact that Tal was late Lily would likely have been appalled at the fact that there was a boy at her doorway after hours.

Calming down a bit though since the door is closed to the night beasts Lily takes her hand from the boy. [b]Sorry about that. I was just not expecting you or anyone but my husband for that matter. Please come in and be safe from the night. Now please, who are you and why are you here so late?[/b

Indeed, love the post Tark. Nice job setting the stage.

Try conversating some place else then. Preferably without that thing here any longer. If you ever want a home cooked meal again or a palce to sleep get going. Tal, if you don't get them to leave in 2 miuntes I swear you will be sleeping on the couch for the next month!!!

Tal meekly: Yes dear.

Take it to the pathfinder. Get it off the table now, dear!!!!!

Looking down at the irony of holding a meat fork at Petronicus chest, Lily does laugh a little at the absurdity of the situation. One done with the small laugh, she sobers up again to thank Petronicus for watching out and using whatever means necessary to keep Tal from being bewitched.

Glad to hear you are doing better. Good luck on the long recovery though.

Good to see you Petronicus please come in and enjoy yourself. Here is some food for now and I will make sure that I send some home with you as well. You look famished and a bit paler than I remember. ARe you feeling ok?

Taking Petronicus into the kitchen Lily whipsers to him. I need you word that you will keep all women away from Tal while at that party you understand me. Perhaps it is the meat fork that she is pointing at Petronicus's chest but she appears to be deadly serious. Do whatever it takes to make sure no one tries to enchant or ensorcell my husband. Good, now here is the food I promised you.

Pollux make sure you wash with holy water before and after. Be careful dear, you don't want to get sick.

I seriously doubt all those details about buttercream and meraxilar are true. Besides Caldazar cannot afford black velvet gloves.

If that is true then they ate not coming over for supper anymore. Out now. Tal you are no longer allowed to associate with those people. Pollux dear you are still welcome of course.

Why Meraxilar you are so thoughtful. Of course you may com ein and dine with us. That is a beautiful bouquet that you brought. Than kyou so very much. Here let me take those from you and sit yourself at the table. I will be with you shortly and have a bowl of soup served up momentarily. We were just talk ing to Petronicus. Have you met him yet?

Unfortunately if you want to be untired good luck. I have a 2 year-old and have been tired ever since. Good Luck on the delivery though. Congrats.

I likewise feel that that is going a bit too far. I am warning you Cal, no funny business or you will answer to me if Tal leaves anything left for me to finish with.

Congrats Tark. Hope you are sleeping throught he night. My 2 year old still gets up 4-5 times a night.

Wow...just wow.

Um, Tal I don't want you associating yourself with these people anymore.

Sorry busy day at work and wasn't able to post as Lily.

By all means kind sir. Give me but a minute and I will have a sandwich prepared for you to dine on at your leisure on the back stoop. You must forgive my husband's courser speech. Ever since we have agreed to join with the Children, he seems to have gotten it stuck in his head that all of Westcrown needs saving. That is mostly my fault I am sure for convincing him that something needs to be done and who better than we in a situation as this. Know this also, that it is not fear for himself that causes Tal to not take a fight to the noble Draven but out of respect for my wishes. I wish for change but not for death. If that is not possible, than for as little bloodshed as can be. Perhaps I have influenced him too far in this matter. You and the vocal Caldazar do have valid points that I concede. My goal is to aid the children. I was hoping that by shaming the man the child would live and have a hope at a better life with the money given him. Unfortunately that may be impossible as you suggest. I will talk to my husband as you talk to Caldazar. I will let him know that I agree with the plan that you have presented. No witnesses, no marks of who was there, no way to trace it back to us. Let others do the talking and rumor mongering to spread the tales.

After making the sandwich, Lily will check to make sure that Pollux and Sclivian are comfortable before going to find Tal.

Slightly taken aback at Pollux's sudden outburst for tea, Lily starts to head to the kitchen assuming that it is not ale that Pollux wants but actually tea. As Pollux continues on, Lily stops half-way to the kitchen and turns back trying to catch the thoughts of the now rambling gentleman before her. Lily however has not had the chance to listen to Pollux's ramblings before and quickly looses herself in the flow of his speech. Even though the exact wording is cryptic, Lily hopes she guesses right at the thoughts behind the words. Looking to Tal for support, or correction in case she misunderstood something, So you want all the nobles to witness the failure of the hunt, thus scorning Draven and hopefully preventing further hunts? And your way of getting the nobles together is by having tea in the ruins of the hunt? Or is your mentioning of tea just an analogy for something else to use that is as innocuous as tea? Either way, I think you lost me with the mention of tea. Even without full understanding, Lily does smile with appreciation at the excitement willingness in Pollux's voice. His words and manners are different, but there is a genuine caring behind them.

The idiosyncracies that Pollux possesses does throw Lily off a bit. She could have sworn she saw him place a piece of meat under his cap. The gesture was so odd that Lily assumes he placed in his mouth and then rearranged his hat. She must have missed him eating it as she was caught up in trying to figure out exactly what he said.

Ok team chaos for killing the noble, Tal and Pollux for leaving the noble alive. Scliv dont know how to read your statement??? Either is fine jsut trying to be the family man Tal. Once we know what direction we are going, we can plan accordingly. Ambush or subterfuge.
