Lilly Ann gives everyone an annoyed look as they loudly announce the presence of the monster, then turns back to the now scared kids.

"No way that little thing can hurt us. It's easily taken care of. Now, we haven't decided yet who found the most rocks! Keep looking!"

She pushes the kids' attention away from the creature and towards the waters ahead of the raft, giving the surface another glance over herself as she continues her song and starts swinging her sling. She only looks back towards her target at the last moment as she sends the bullet flying, then turns to face the front again.

Action 1: Inspire courage (+1 to all attacks and damage; Performances)
Action 2: Perception: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (13) + 6 = 19
Action 3: Attack: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (9) + 4 = 131d6 + 0 ⇒ (3) + 0 = 3

Alright then, second Perception check:
Perception: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (14) + 6 = 20

Lilly Ann is seated on the raft with Daffrid and the kids. She's mostly spent the journey keeping the kids occupied with stories and games. When Flitch mentions the rocks she turns to them with a big smile.

"Ookaaay, let's play 'Spot the rocks'! Whoever spots and calls out the most rocks wins ... a prize!"

She makes a big show of putting her hand above her eyes and peering out over the water. As soon as the shapes start appearing, though, she frowns.
The creatures break the surface and Tao Lin and Koredrel can hear her murmur: "Reefclaws?"
Then she quickly starts smiling again, giving a reassuring nod to both Maffree and Taffrit before signalling to Daffrid to move them back a little.

In a nonchalant tone she calls out to everyone: "Guys, remember: Keep your voices low. Unless you want to attract beasties, that is. They know what we're saying, after all."
She stresses the word 'low' by lowering the pitch of her voice in exaggerated fashion and raising her eyebrows.

Following this announcement, Lilly Ann loads her sling and starts singing. Her song sounds upbeat, and is clearly geared towards keeping the kids happy and distracted, but it's content is still slightly off.

Action 1: Inspire Courage (Performance here, I'll update the folder each round with the next bit of the song)
Action 2: Grab/Load Sling
Action 3: Look for rocks: Perception: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (9) + 6 = 15

I'd say because I was busy with the kids, I didn't have my weapons at the ready. If you judge that I did because we see the monsters coming, then I'd like to use a second action to look for rocks, if that's allowed.

Lilly Ann would prefer to take the non-swimming spot then.

Also, if I remember correctly, there was one boar that could take 5 people and then we could try to take more people on our boat. Am I understanding correctly that we're just taking everyone on our boat now and just not bothering with the other one?

I mean...he's no longer tied to a chair, right?

Also, yeah, the fact that he got into this situation might mean he's a liability. Next to that, I get using some pressure to leverage a better negotiating postion.

In any case, it was said. Shall we continue? ;)

I quite clearly interpreted Tao Lin's statement as a threat against Themolin, btw. Just in case that was in question ;).

Lilly Ann start slowly coming back to consciousness as PC treats her. Her eyes remain quite hazy as she blinks them open and looks up at the halfling with a lazy smile.

"Flames are preeetty."
She moves herself to sit up and winces.
"They sting though..."

After giving herself a quick once over she holds up an arm covered in GP-bandages and smiles again.
"Cool. I like butterflies."

Once PC is done she springs to her feet with renewed energy, gives him a quick kiss on the cheek and moves over to the unconscious (dead?) Barralbus. She stands over him for a moment, frowning, then sticks out her tongue in an overexaggerated fashion, gives him a kick for good measure and goes to stand with the group around Themolin.

"Can we go tell Ansy that the a$$!#~~ is dead? I think she'd like that."

She then turns to Themolin specifically: "Do you still have that note on the painting and that Ell-something? It's pretty embarrassing. We could use that, right?

I always feel somehow proud when I annoy NPC's into wanting to kill me.... *contented sigh* Aaaanyway, I wanna reroll that Ref save, yeah. Keeping the Hero Point to stabilise is probably more prudent, but I don't know whether that'll work with the ongoing damage anyway. Plus, the safe option isn't always the fun one ;).

Reflex Save: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (6) + 4 = 10
EDIT: Well, that made little difference, f&%@... XD

As the fire appears before her, Lilly Ann's eyes widen but the smile still stays on her face. She raises a hand upwards, a mostly invisible shimmering force extending from it and then quickly succumbing to the flames.

Because I cast Shield last round, I can use the Shield Block reaction with my magical shield. It has Hardness 5, so that's 5 less fire damage if this counts as a physical attack. Not sure whether the same rules about physical/energy damage still count here. I'm guessing they do and this isn't gonna help me, but I wanted to throw it in just in case.

Shield Block (reaction): Trigger: While you have your shield raised, you would take damage from a physical attack. Effect: You snap your shield in place to ward off a blow. Your shield prevents you from taking an amount of damage up to the shield’s Hardness. You and the shield each take any remaining damage, possibly breaking or destroying the shield.

Alright, sorry, was not aware of how the action-thing with regards to spells is indicated, I'm up to speed now.

In that case Lilly Ann casts Shield instead.

When she recognises Barralbus' voice, Lilly Ann stops humming. Watching PC launching his attacks, she giggles, then starts singing. The warehouse quickly fills up with her eerie voice in what seems to be some kind of nursery rhyme. It quickly reminds everyone that these guys are really not at all scary.
Everyone gets a +1 status bonus to attack, damage, and saves vs fear.

Her performance: https://drive.google.com/file/d/10UNaHjjqUZ5DYvrAGPYVwUjr7FtUoE3o/view?usp= sharing (hope this works). Also, that's the kind of voice she does whenever I put something in cursive, for reference.

While singing, she moves forward a bit more and cheerily waves at Barralbus, then casts Telekinetic Projectile and throws a stone at his big head.
Spell Attack: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (9) + 8 = 17
Damage: 1d6 + 1 ⇒ (1) + 1 = 2

Lilly Ann looks about a bit confused at the group and the apparent (quiet) commotion. On Ulfar's instruction she hands PC her lockpicks.

Or did he have his own now? I'm not sure. In that case, never mind.

She stands by him, quickly transitioning from bored to cheerfully animated, then walks in after him and grabs her sling. She pauses a little inside the door as PC creeps along quietly, trying to contain her excited humming.

Trying to stay back a bit more 'cause I don't actually have any ranks in Stealth, but here goes:
Stealth: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (8) + 1 = 9

EDIT: I'll use my Hero Point to re-roll that then:
Stealth: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (17) + 1 = 18

EDIT2: Gooood reroll. *pats digital, non-existent dice* (AKA: *pats RNG-system*, but that sounds even weirder XD).

Lilly Ann stops humming with a sharp intake of breath at the two punches that knock Ulfar out. She's silent for a while, watching attentively. Then, as Ulfar is splashed with water, she starts laughing. A soft-pitched giggle that goes on for far too long.

When the officer walks away, she wipes some tears from her eyes, then calls out to Ulfar, her laughter only barely contained in the first sentence:

"Does it hurt? You know...if you apologise for the thing about kids being annoying and noisy... I coooouuuld help you."

She smiles sweetly as she takes another bite out of her apple.

Lilly Ann playfully sticks out her tongue at the man who refused her flower and then turns as Ulfar starts making his challenge. With a slight giggle she makes her way back and hops up to sit on a crate to the side.

She takes out an apple and starts munching on it, looking back and forth between the soldiers, Ulfar, and Chen, clearly expecting to be entertained.

In between bites she hums loudly to herself, which feels strangely encouraging to both Ulfar and Chen.

If the GM allows it: Inspire Courage (+1 to attack, damage, and saves vs fear)

Lilly Ann walks up to the people standing in line.
"What are you waiting for? Also, would you like a flower?"
She holds up one of the flowers she picked earlier and cocks her head to the side, smiling sweetly.

While doing so, she quickly glances inside.

Quickly catching on, Lilly Ann starts fake-crying again.

"I... I... just wanted to... to... draaaaw."

Deception: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (20) + 7 = 27

She easily allows Chen to drag her along, and winks at him when they get out of earshot of Themolin. She then abruptly stops crying and skips off towards Ansy.

Good thinking Chen ;)

After Lilly Ann spots the document she starts to open her mouth, then catches Chen's hint. She shrugs, carefully positions herself to the side of Themolin's field of vision, takes a notebook out of her pocket, and, while idly riffling through it, puts the document in question between the pages and then puts the notebook back.

Not 100% sure what kind of check this requires, but I figure these should suffice:
Thievery: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (5) + 4 = 9
Deception: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (6) + 7 = 13

Horizon Hunters

Female Gnome Bard/3 | 18 HP | AC 15 | Fort +5 Ref +4 Will +6 | Perception + 6 (low-light vision, limited scent 30ft) | Speed: 25

Lilly Ann waves to Anseoh as she leaves
"Thank you, Lady Ansy! We'll say good bye on the way out!"

She then hurries along to join the group as they approach Themolin. When Chen asks for privacy she looks at him confused (as if she doesn't actually grasp the situation), then shrugs and starts sniffling.

"There's sniffle so many people gulp here. It makes me kinda... whimper ...nervous."
Lilly Ann looks up at Themolin with big, tear-filled eyes.
"Can we maybe sniffle talk somewhere else, please, sir?"

She rubs both her eyes, then clenches her hands together on her chest and cocks her head to the side questioningly, lower lip still lightly trembling.

"Interesting name. I don't think I'll be able to remember that. I'll just call you 'Ansy', okay?"

Without waiting for a reply, Lilly Ann turns to the guy
"You know, it's pretty clear that she wants you to go. Even the stupidest person I know would've realised that by now. And I know some really weird, stupid people... It's very strange that you're still here."
I think this might call for a Demoralize-check ('cause it's fun).
Performance: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (5) + 7 = 12

She then turns around back to the group and shouts:
"Hey, come on! Lady Ansy says that she'll help us! We were looking for someone here, right?"
Lilly Ann waves the group over and gives Ansy a beaming grin.
Just in case it's necessary, a Diplomacy on Ansy:

Lilly Ann starts giggling and skips up to the woman at the desk.
"You're funny! I like you."

She turns to look at the guy and lets out another giggle.
"She's right, you know: a child could do that. I'll prove it"
Lilly Ann casts Telekinetic Projectile on the flower, causing it be thrown harmlessly against a wall and crumpling to the ground in a flurry of petals.

She then turns back to the woman, now completely ignoring the guy. She reaches out her hand, the sweetest of innocent smiles on her face.
"I'm Lilly Ann, nice to meet you! What's your name?"

Lilly Ann walks up to Flitch and smiles.
"It's okay. You're not alone anymore.. I'm sure you'll be fine!"

She looks back at the others.
"Plus, wasn't this the guy that could help us out with some stuff? Hiding others? getting them to the meeting spot and such?"

Horizon Hunters

Female Gnome Bard/3 | 18 HP | AC 15 | Fort +5 Ref +4 Will +6 | Perception + 6 (low-light vision, limited scent 30ft) | Speed: 25

Lilly Ann looks at the others with slight confusion on her face.
"I know we have a codeword and such, but we can still talk to him like normal people. As far as we are normal that is"

She giggles, then turns to the man again, through the window.
"Are you Flitch? We're here to help. The weird, slick guy sent us. To get you out of the city. If that is still what you want..."

Throughout the journey through the sewers (as well as in Flitch's house) Lilly Ann has been adding her own little drawings to all the graffiti, in chalk.

As Dothrek knocks on the door, she is already drawing flowers next to the window. She smiles and waves at the man as he looks up from his book.

As the Petite Chenille starts turning the lock picks, Lilly Ann peeks over his shoulder.
"Hey, don't twist them like..."
SNAP

With a sigh Lilly Ann takes off her backpack and starts rummaging around. She takes out a small pouch from which she fishes a few more lock-picks. She quickly sticks her tongue out at the Petite Chenille and then winks at him.
"You're gonna get me something nice later, okay? You owe me."

Clearing the broken lock-picks away, Lilly Ann gives the lock another try.

She's just gonna keep trying now, so I'll roll a few times to speed this along

Lilly Ann makes a pouty face. "No fair! Annoying thing won't budge... Does someone else wanna try?"

She's still standing by the door, head down and face turned a bit away. Some of the lock-picks are still in the door, others are in her open palm.

After the Petite Chenille's summary, Lilly Ann responds: "Purchase? Any case, I promised Maff and Taff that we'd bring along their pet, Seddie. He's apparently really cute! That should be fine, right?"

At Flitch's place, Lilly Ann takes a quick look if she sees any other possible ways of entering.
Perception: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (12) + 6 = 18

If she doesn't see anything, she grabs some lock-picking tools out of her beltpouch and moves towards the door.
"I thought it was only KIDS that attract to much attention." She sticks her tongue out at Tao Lin over her shoulder.

Hiya guys, sorry, busy life, and trying to regain something that moderately approximates sanity.
Anyway, little bit of ret-conning if you don't mind:

During the walk up to Daffrid's house, Lilly Ann continues to pout at Ulfar and Tao Lin, while weaving her new-found flowers into her hair. Occasionally she goes off to pick some more.

When Daffrid sends her kids away to their dad, Lilly Ann runs along with them, clearly quickly making some new friends. She catches up with the group again when they leave the house.

"Well, those kids were plenty nice. We even had a screaming match, and only got told off by two guards!" She giggles. "So, what'd I miss?"

Horizon Hunters

Female Gnome Bard/3 | 18 HP | AC 15 | Fort +5 Ref +4 Will +6 | Perception + 6 (low-light vision, limited scent 30ft) | Speed: 25

Lilly Ann scrunches up her face at Tao Lin, and then at Ulfar when he makes the comment about kids.
"Says the person who shouted at Mr Smug Guy! I can be a looot more noisy..."

She then sticks out her tongue at both of them, runs off and starts picking flowers from what is probably someone's garden.

Horizon Hunters

Female Gnome Bard/3 | 18 HP | AC 15 | Fort +5 Ref +4 Will +6 | Perception + 6 (low-light vision, limited scent 30ft) | Speed: 25

Lilly Ann says a quick "Thanks!" to the guards, and starts strolling past them. "Alright! Let's go talk to some people then! I'm sure they have really interesting stories to tell."

I'd say a Diplomacy check to gather some information is probably a good idea (also since apparently very few of us know anything). I can helm it.

Lilly Ann gives Koredrel a nod with a slight frown. Seeming to not entirely understand his answer, but at least accept it.

She then turns toward Tao Lin:
"You know some people can see in the dark, right? Or they might have creatures that could smell someone out? Like how you smell strongly of the colour blue for some reason...

"Anyway, we have several days, and I'm guessing we can best assess how to deal with each individual after we meet them right?
So we don't try to sneak with the people who have a very strong smell."

She giggles.

Lilly Ann looks up at Ulfar with big eyes.
"You're weird... I like you!
Can I braid you beard? It could use some decoration..."

Craning her head towards the others she adds:
"If these people are desperate and possibly in danger.. We probably should get going soon, right? We wouldn't want anything to happen to them."
She smiles brightly at Guaril.

"Well that seems like fun!"
In a slightly lower, sort of wavery ethereal voice Lilly Ann adds: "I mean, lot's of interesting things could happen..." She giggles.

She quickly scans the list and looks back up at Guaril.
"There's just 5 people. Why couldn't we fit all of them on the boat?" She lowers her voice to a whisper "Is one of them really fat?"

Lilly Ann frequently switches back and forth between speaking in a honey sweet cheery voice, and her wavery sweet ethereal voice (think creepy doll). To make things a bit easier to read (and write), I will do the latter in italics when it comes up :p.

Indeed! What is the thing with Elves and nature? I wonder…
The cheery (almost unsettlingly cheery) voice comes from who you had all first assumed to be someone’s kid. You’ve noticed her giggling quite a bit during your interaction, but haven’t been sure whether it was about you or not.

She’s wearing a colourful dress and her light blonde hair is bound up in two short ponytails with bows and various ribbons. As she skips over you realise that she’s a gnome. Though you are still not sure whether she is a child or not.

Smiling brightly she steps into the middle of the circle and cocks her head at Korodrel:
The last Elf I met was reeeeaaaly obsessed with nature. Are you too? And with the whole blight thing? I don’t really get it…
She makes a very cute confused face and then smiles brightly again.
