Leira Fenix, multiple-personality Psychic, for your consideration.

She seems to meet your group's needs. I'd need to level up, redo stats, make some purchases, and a few other adjustments if selected.

This looks like a fun campaign. If you're looking for a consistent player, I've been around for about 5 years and am coming up on 19,000 posts. Leira would be a very versatile full caster. Though she's a spontaneous caster, her favored class bonus will allow her to learn an additional spell per level (1 level lower than max), and I'll also be able to select one spell per level from a different class. There are some fun role-playing ideas for her, too.

Do new characters also start with no equipment like initial prisoners? Or are we joining some other way?

Leira's penetrating gaze turns on Alakhest. "Indeed, we do use the plural pronoun...we are not one, but many. We are the collective consciousness of any that have died in our presence. They are reborn in us."

Looking at the scroll, she says "We would be happy to utilize this, should it prove necessary."

We're psychic with the rebirth Discipline. We thought it would be fun to have others 'reborn' in our consciousness.

Leira examines the contents of the backpack over Alakhest's shoulder, though she does not take anything.

Her crossbow continues to hover next to her, aimed at the passageway ahead.

"We should prepare a light source," she observes, and the one of the trio of crossbow bolts, also floating at her side, begins to glow.

"We may fire it as a tracer shot should we encounter any hostile creatures here," she states flatly.

Leira is a rebirth psychic who gains the memories of any that die around her. She speaks with the "royal we," since she speaks for all whose memories have melded with her own.

She uses the power of her mind to either charm those around her or push them over.
