Bridging the Gap 2026 is an online-only games convention hosted by the Organized Play Online region. The con runs from Friday May 22 – Monday May 25 for VTT games and then PBD games will continue to Friday August 14th.
GMs worldwide will be offering tables to fit even the most finicky of timezones, on many different VTT platforms and in multiple languages! As well as Venture-Officers standing by 24 hours a day during the con to help ensure everyone has a great time.
We’ll be running multi-table specials for Pathfinder 1, Pathfinder 2, and Starfinder over the con, as well as plenty of scenarios from each, and of course from Starfinder 2. There will be a charity component, as well as scenarios run by authors and we may even sneak a few Paizo staff in to run some if you’re lucky!
Details on Discord
Happy to hear about this, at least. Jumping on the Discord to learn more. :)

I'm pretty bummed about this. Paizo con is one of my favorite yearly events. Sign of the times, I guess?
I'm looking forward to the new storefront. Best of luck with the migration. I'll see you on the other side. :)
My group is in Book 2: Sixty Feet Under and I am about to drop some customized loot into the adventure for the PCs. Does anyone have any recommendations for special materials that might be especially useful? Black iron? Silver? Etc. I'm still reading the modules to learn specifics about what they will be facing. I just want to make sure I give them something that will be handy down the line.
Notes from our session in which we christened the Stalag-Bites! :D lol

Erastil is safe! Woot! My level 10 cleric, Oeron Whitescar, rejoices. :)
Another well-written entry. I enjoyed this one.
And CC is safe. Huzzah!

I suspect the return of prophecy heralds the return of Aroden. Perhaps the gods should tremble with terror at these words?
Congrats to the new coin holders and Charlene, our new 5 glyph GM.
Many thanks Linda for all your many contributions and your hard work. You'll be missed!

Is there an official place for us to begin submitting notes for potential errata? My group and I are finding little things that need to be fixed in the PDFs we received today.

"Paizo is not immune to economic factors like inflation, nor industry-wide fluctuations in cost-of-goods, labor, or shipping and logistics, and we must periodically adjust our prices to reflect rising costs" That explains the increase in digital and print products going forward, which I completely understand.
What that doesn't explain is why the prices of digital products whose production was already completed, in many cases years ago, are also increasing. I'm a developer who works on programs that serve up newly created digital data and also supply old data to customers, which no longer has the production costs associated. I am aware of the difference in costs to support those two types of operations. There is more to that decision than what is being presented in this blog. That's what I am hoping to learn with my question.

I understand the need to increase the prices of new products going forward. No concerns there. I'm also happy to see Paizo embracing more sustainable sources for print products, that's awesome.

Okay, I am good with this. I look forward to the minor changes and reorganization. I am completely cool with dropping alignment from the game.

Congrats Jim!
Hoping for a quick recovery for Jeff.
This is awesome news! I am a Foundry convert and I can't wait to dive into these products. :) Many thanks, Paizo!!!

As an on-ramp for D&D 5E players into the goodness that is Paizo, I support this idea even if I won't buy the product. I don't play 5E but I welcome 5E players looking to check something new out. Add more books to their shelves, spread their wings, and whatnot.

Of course, this bums me out but I completely respect any company's decision to prioritize safety over attending a con. I knew this year's Gencon was going to be a diminished version of previous years and that is okay. It is expected given any reasonable amount of consideration, imho. Just my two cents.
Premise: I spent some time last week reorganizing my books. I have two large sets of shelves, one in my home office and the other in my game room. My 1E books are in my game room and my 2E books are in my office for quick reference (planning games, running online, etc).
I began to wonder if there were any 1E books I should go ahead and just add to my 2E collection in the other room? Like the Inner Sea World Guide for example.
Your thoughts?

I think this is a great idea, personally. I have wanted standalone adventures for Starfinder since the beginning and the APs come so fast, I had no idea when I was going to play them all. The solution you've outlined here is smart, imho.
I appreciate the response. So it sounds like I was reading it correctly. At least there is an option to make it possible at level 6. :)
We're gearing up to play some Pathfinder Society and one of my players created a goblin ranger with an animal companion. I remembered the Rough Rider fear for goblins and pitched it to my player, who loved the idea of riding his wolf animal companion.
Then I ran into a problem... Rough Rider says he can choose a wolf as an animal companion and gives bonuses if used as a mount. However, according to the animal companion rules, to ride an animal companion, the mount must be one size larger than the character. Goblins and wolves are both small, so he can't ride a wolf.
My player was really stoked to ride his wolf animal companion but the rules don't seem to allow it. Am I missing something? Is there a way to allow this without breaking rules?
I want to stick to RAW since we will be playing Pathfinder Society, no house rules.
Your thoughts?
Bravo! Definitely a great change. :) Many thanks for developing an alternate path.
Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! This is such a welcome improvement. :D
Any idea when we will be seeing the errata changes in the PDF?

The title says it all. I love the Brenneri!
And if they are not legal, when will they become a legal option. Nothing else matters to me at this point.
:)
I just downloaded it. Link worked for me and the PDF opens just fine. This leads me to believe the issues have been fixed.

No Brown Sheets
Wow, you're right. That is a huge improvement.
Thank you (and Queue Times) for the form fillable option as well.
I'm sure the 3PP will come pouring in but I haven't seen any big announcements other than the one you mentioned.
Oh, and it's Everybody Games now. They rebranded themselves a short while ago.
Lost Omens?
I like it! Long live Lost Omens!
Could we get a PDF option for this product? I currently GM Starfinder on Roll20 and I could easily turn a PDF into a usable deck in that application.
0-hr has my recommendation as well. Their products are top notch.
They have also kickstarted numerous projects to provide miniatures with deck maps at a great price. I have backed several of those and I can vouch for the quality of their work on the miniatures as well.
I'm always for more content but I haven't felt like I am lacking anything in the current volumes. It would be a welcome change but nothing I think Paizo needs to change anytime soon.

Agreed. As a fellow techie who also had a similar week, I sympathize. :)

I see both sides of the discussion.
Are there any spells, gear, or augmentations which boost stats by an odd amount? If so, I think those would give the odd theme bonus a little more weight (potentially).
On a hypothetic side note, would you consider bumping the bonus to +2? I don't see many folks being against that idea but I thought I would toss it out. Obviously, not for Society play.
My order does saying pending as well. Sitting tight for now.
Mine lists the same thing so you are not alone. I hope we do not have to wait until November to get my products.
Nevermind me. A friend just pointed out the events I saw were not from Paizo. We are still waiting for Paizo events to be listed.
:)
I noticed in the Gen Con catalog the last Starfinder event each day is at 3 pm. Is Paizo keeping the evenings free for Pathfinder Specials or are have all of the events not been loaded yet?
Congrats to the new 5 stars!
Saved as a word document. Thank you.

It doesn't seem all that vague, nebulous, or arbitrary to me. In fact, it seems very straight to the point.
Good for you Paizo, supporting the FLGS like this!
:)
Will these only be pre-order or will they be available through the sub?

I'm not really excited by this at all. I already have plenty of great Sci-Fi games to play and "Pathfinder in SPACE" doesn't sound all that great to me. I just hope this doesn't harm the core product which I love. Maybe I will change my mind as we see more previews, but only time will tell.
Best of luck to you Paizo! And I hope everyone enjoys the new game. :)
More colors!
:)
Please consider that my vote in favor of more colors. Oh and the fact I just ordered all of the colors and packs you are offering in this batch, hehe.
