My Gaming group has recently started the Rise of the Rune Lord AP. As the resident bard of the group I came up with a counter song to the goblins nasty little tune. I put it in a basic call and response format. The phrasing is a little wonky but it works:
The Goblin Song
The Goblin Counter Song
Goblins chew and goblins bite,
*You May Chew, You May Bite
Goblins cut and goblins fight,
*Nothing will Dissuade our might
Stab the dog and cut the horse,
*Dogs will Fight, Horse will Rear
Goblins eat and take by force!
*You can stick it in your Ear.
Goblins race and goblins jump,
Goblins slash and goblins bump,
*Heroes cleave, Heroes sunder, Goblins will be put, 6 feet under.
Burn the skin and mash the head,
Goblins here and you be dead!
*Spells to heal and armor protect. Get the Goblins break their neck.
Chase the baby, catch the pup,
Bonk the head to shut it up!
Bones be cracked, flesh be stewed,
We the goblins—you the food!
*Time to stop this noisy racket, Hack the Goblins Make them squeal.
Hear my words and listen clear. When all is done and all is said, All the goblins will be dead.
