About Laertheus Omaya
Before you stands a tall slender lashunta male of the damaya caste. He stands around 6ft in height and weighs less than 165lbs. His skin is pale green with facial markings in brown and white. His dark hair is cut short. His bright blue-green eyes stand out as do the expressive antennae on his forehead. When he speaks, his accent carries notes of the educated classes of Verthani's Ring region.
Laertheus, or Professor Laer, grew up in the Ring on Verces. He was the son of a pair of cybernetics designers that worked for a verthani cybernetics corporation. When he graduated from college, he found work as a professor of biomedical engineering, doing research for the same company his parent's worked for. However, he secretly longed to be one of the ace pilots finding new worlds on the tri-vid adventure stories on the infosphere. He spent all his spare time practicing on simulators and whatever ships he could borrow or rent. Now that he has his pilot's license, he's dropped everything, quitting his job, and headed to Absalom Station with 1 credit in his pocket, hoping to find work with the Starfinder Society.
