Just curious why Groetus and not Rovugag

I quite like the neutrality of Groetus. I think Rovagug is a bit more proactive and downright evil than I'm after.

Very good choice on class. Very flavorful. If you have any experience with d20 systems or 3.X you might want to consider going druid. They got a little bit of a power down but they are still a ridiculously good class.

Not really done much roleplaying for the last 8 or so years. Been playing a lot of Warhammer 40k and wanted to get back in to RPGs, and my friend suggested that Inquisitors are kinda like the Witch Hunters in Warhammer, not the nicest of people, but doing the things that need to be done. Seemed like a cool class.

I've been an Inquisitor in a Pathfinder game for a while that meets once a week...

Hmmm, sounds fairly complicated, but I'm a quick learner and the guy who'll be GM'ing is very experienced with the system and suggested the class, so I'm guessing he thinks I'll be able to cope :)

Thanks for the comments guys! One other thing, can anyone suggest some good homelands for my character? Where is a guy like this likely to come from?

Hey guys, well as the title says I'm new to the Pathfinder game and universe and trying to decide on what character I'll roll first.

I'm currently considering a Chaotic Neutral Half-Elf Inquisitor of Groetus.

I know Groetus doesn't have a formal church, but as Half-Elves are fairly solitary/outcast kinds of people, I see my character as a slightly unhinged zealot, dedicated to speeding along the coming of the end times (maybe due to something that's happened in his past to make him lose faith in life and believe it would be better for the world to end.)

What are people's thoughts on this idea?

Cheers,
Kvlt.
