I am glad you came to learn a little bit more about me. Since you put in the effort, it is only fair that I tell you a little bit about myself.
My favorite part about Pathfinder is the role playing. I will focus a lot on it in my games, especially when it comes to play by post. One consequence of that is that I tend to be a little bit more loosey goosey when it comes to rules. For example, I don't track encumberment; as long as you don't try to pick up every item you come across. It is important that you agree with me and don't try to push the rules or exploit the game.
In my play by post games, I am also going to run initiative differently. I find that splitting up when the PCs take their turns can seriously slow down the game. Here is how it is going to work:
1. Everyone rolls initiative.
2. The surprise round (if there is one)
3. Everyone who got an initiative result higher than the enemies will get a fake surprise round.
4. The enemies will go
5. All PCs will go.
Then repeat steps 4 and 5 until combat ends.
In order to determine the enemies' initiative, I will take an average of all of them.
I expect players to post once a day, unless they have communicated to me before hand that they will be unable to. I will try to post twice a day (if needed).
