Does Pathfinder have rules for Ships and Sea warfare?

There are lots of books that I don't own so I was curious if they have covered it anywhere?

Available at drive thru in 2 volumes for $75 each. $150.00 for the set but you also get the PDF.

A little better price than what they go on Ebay for. I believe the original was what $120 or so. Not too shabby.

I was just curious. When you play Pathfinder do you actually call it Pathfinder or do you call it D&D?

So when gathering your friends for a game; do you say "can you make it on Sunday to play Pathfinder?" or do you say "can you make it on Sunday to play D&D?"

I'll start first. My group still calls it D&D.

I need a map of a small town (population of about 1,000) with a river that runs through it. I'm hoping to find a quality, color map that I can show the players.

Any one know of a good one?

I have never been to Paizocon before let alone any RPG convention. So I have a newbie question: I see that there are already some attendees signed up for the seminars. But I can't seem to find how I sign up. Is that option closed now? Will the remaining seats be filled up on a first come basis?

I'm having a hard time finding some good low level (1-4) adventures so I was hoping you guys could make some suggestions.

But they cannot be Paizo or Necromancer games modules. Also, it can't be city based adventures.

So what are the best ones out there? Lets hear about 'em!

There has been a little bit of talk lately about Paizo someday doing a basic Pathfinder set. But it doesn't seem like it's gonna happen any time soon.

So I would like to make my own version. I have a few ideas but I also would like for anyone who has some good ideas to post here so we can discuss the pros and cons.

To get the conversation started. Here are a few things that I think would make the biggest impact on making the game a little more rules light:

* remove skills
* remove feats
* remove Attacks of Opportunity

There are probably some repercussions from removing these kind of things (like removing feats takes away a big part of the fighter class), but I believe it's necessary to accomplish the goal of rules light.

So what are some other cons of taking these out? What would be a good way to fix the issue?

In the comments regarding the Kingmaker adventure path at Grognardia (an OSR blog). Someone said "We're all still waiting for that rules-lite, Old School game, Paizo."

Erik responded with "I'd love to give it to you. We talk about it at least once a week and I think about it pretty much daily at this point."

Here is the link: http://grognardia.blogspot.com/2010/03/kingmaker.html

I for one think this would be the bomb!! So Erik, if you guys talk about it once a week and you think about it daily, does this mean it's "possible" we may see something like this on the product schedule for 2011 or more likely 2012?

When it comes to screens I prefer an action scene with bad guys on the cover. I think that is better for players to look at the whole game session rather than a picture of other adventurers.

So,I'm gonna use the 4th edition screen but I need the tables from the PF screen. Has anyone tried printing out the tables and attaching them to the 4th ed. screen? Do they fit? I believe the PF version is vertical and the 4th version is horizontal.

My players decided they wanted to play a city centered campaign. What are some of the better novels that take place in a fantasy city?

Are there any books that have a post/apocalyptic fantasy feel? If you know of some, what do you think of them?

I'm thinking about using this idea as the theme for my next campaign and was hoping there is something out there to help me with the flavor.

Lots of people always refer to the old days of Sword & Sorcery books that influenced D&D. I have always been a fan of Conan and some of the typical others. But I'm curious; are there any modern books that are still considered Sword & Sorcery? If so, which ones do you recommend?

Are there any good companies currently making quality adventures for 3.5? By good I mean, companies that don't take forever to complete and ship product and the quality of the adventure is professional (good art, writing and not many typos). Also, I would like for their stuff to be available in print. I'm old school and I like to read things on paper.

I think I'm going to get into DMing for my group and I need something to run but not from Paizo, our groups other DM uses their stuff.

Thanks for the input!

So I keep reading conflicting reports about the speed of 4th editon combat. Many say that it is faster than 3.5 while some have said that it is the same or slower. I have quickly looked over the combat section in the PH and it seems to me that it would be about the same or slower than 3.5 but I have not actually played it. Any 4th players have some good input on this? I like 3.5 but hate how long combat takes and I'm looking at 4th as a possible fix.
