Appearance: Krakard stands at 6’4”, and weighs 217lbs. He has a muscular physique, but is more built for endurance versus power. His body is covered in scar, which are more prominent around his limbs and along his spine and central abdominal region. Krakard’s black hair is thick and messy, and he rarely puts effort into fixing it as he rarely encounters a situation in which he needs to be gussied up. Krakard also sports a short thick beard that he, unlike his hair, makes a decent effort to keep clean, and has forest green eyes.

-Work/Public Clothing: Krakard wears a dirty brown tunic with a stained green vest over-top. His beige trousers are baggy and held up with a piece of rope.

-Armor/Combat: Krakard wears a set of masterwork steel scale-mail armor, with a thick leather belt. He keeps his backpack on his back, over the sheathe for his Bastard Sword, which he keeps strapped on his back crossing up to his left shoulder. His quiver, which keeps his bow and arrows, is kept on the back of his belt. He keeps a large 20ft collapsible ladder strapped to his backpack, and has a War-hammer at his left hip. Krakard does not wear a helmet, preferring to keep effective visibility, and wears his Heavy Steel Shield on his right arm.

Personality:

Biography: Krakard is a second generation Half-Orc, his paternal grandfather having been the initial Orc in the family. Krakard’s paternal family are devout Andorans, both his paternal grandparents’ are part of a multi-generational chain. His grandfather was the first generation of his family to be able to live free of the chains of slavery in many generations, whereas his grandmother’s family had been a major advocate for anti-slavery, and it was because of his grandmother’s actions that helped free Krakard’s grandfather.

Krakard’s mother’s family, however, are true-and-true Qadirans, and his mother herself had attempted to manipulate Krakard’s father’s influence in the Andoran society by forging a relationship between them. Her plan resulted in a moderate success; however she had fallen in love with Krakard’s father whilst on task.

The two settled in Bellis, a town on the side of the Sellen River, and soon enough bore their first and only child, Krakard. Krakard was raised in two professions, his mother teaching him how to operate a wood mill to become a woodcutter, as she had years of experience from it being her occupation of choice during her time with Qadirans, and his father teaching him the ways of being a fighter.

Krakard quickly took a liking to large blades, but found that he didn’t want to give up on the protective benefits of a shield. His father recognized that he needed a different blade to wield, and the two took a trip to Almas, the capital of the Andoran Province. Here they found a blacksmith who had experience in blacksmithing exotic and abnormal weapon designs. They asked the smith as to what would be a solution to Krakard’s desires. The smith had then introduced Krakard to the Bastard Sword, a sword with a 104cm blade, and a hilt that could be wielded with either one or two hands.

Krakard would quickly earn of the unwieldiness of the sword, and spent many years with his father, training to properly use the sword. During these years he also adopted a shield comfortable to his style, as well as a comfortably fitting armor that allowed him to move comfortably enough without sacrificing too much mobility or protectiveness. Krakard eventually chose to join the Andoran Faction when he joined the Pathfinder Society, following in his paternal family’s footsteps. His mother felt disappointed, but understood his reasoning.

Krakard would ensure that his parents kept his room available should he return home to them, but at the same time moved to Almas so as to have better access to the faction’s headquarters. His home being a slummier district due to his relative lack of funds, Krakard hopes to set a name for himself, as well as his family, all while ensuring no one must feel to suffering of slavery.
