Abandoned as a baby in the harsh wilderness of the frozen north of a long dead world, Raziel matured at a remarkable rate, his flesh hardening to endure the cold and his predatory instincts drove him to feed onn anything he encountered.
Decades of surviving in the terrible wasteland of his home forged Raziel into a calculating predator of a being. His senses were supernatural and nothing could escape his cunning and growing strength.
Solivagus passed by his world and came under attack by enemies of the Epochryphon, the resulting battle injuring the demigod and casting him to the icey world below. His impact shattered a glacier of immense size that unleashed a hellstorm of volcanic activity that had been building for millennia.
This event caused Raziel's world to change at too rapid a pace and he broke down and for the first time in his life he cried, his mournful wail catching Solivagus' ear as he brushed off shards of glacier.
Upon finding the forlorn being, Solivagus peered into his wild soul and found the scared little boy alone in the wilderness. Appealing to this part of Raziel's soul he captured the feral creature and brought him back to Hideaway where he locked himself inside his laboratory for an entire year, the cries of pain and agony unsettling all that heard them.
When Solivagus emerged he presented Raziel Ebonheart, the perfect creature to enact unflinching justice on the Epochryphon's traitors. No one knows for sure the amount of 'reconditioning' Raziel underwent but the being that emerged was not the same one that entered...
