Say I have a barbarian 1/ rogue 8. Rogue 8 gains improved uncanny dodge, my question is; does the barbarian level count (meaning to be flanked the opponent must be 13) or does it not (the opponent must only be 12). I know it's not a huge difference, but it can make or break an encounter. If this question had already been answered, please link the thread. I did look, but not very hard.
I love the Iron Priest archetype for the cleric in the Technology guide. The only confusing part is the channel energy; does channel positive or negative heal them? Arguments could be made for either side, but the entry is not clear. On the channel positive side, it would make sense that a cleric of Brigh (the Clockwork Lady) would make sense. The flip side would be, if the Iron Priest treats constructs as undead (because they have no power over them) channel positive to harm would make sense. Does anyone have any insight on this?
I'm looking at the stats in the bestiary and the related entries, but coming up confused. In the bestiary and on the SRD; pfsrd wrote: Ability Scores: +2 Wis, –2 Cha in all forms; +2 Str, +2 Con in hybrid and animal forms. Lycanthropes have enhanced senses but are not fully in control of their emotions and animalistic urges. In addition to these adjustments to the base creature's stats, a lycanthrope's ability scores change when he assumes hybrid or animal form. In human form, the lycanthrope's ability scores are unchanged from the base creature's form. In animal and hybrid form, the lycanthrope's ability scores are the same as the base creature's or the base animal's, whichever ability score is higher. the entries for the individuals do not line up with these rules, can someone simplify them for me please?
Fighter classes, except the cavalier and paladin, have no way to make sure monsters/npcs attack them. a fighter taunt mechanic needs to be created to make sure fighters can do their job. it could be something as simple as intimidate vs will save to make them have to target the fighter instead of the squishier targets. any thoughts?
being a star wars fan, and watching them this week, i have thought about making a single person speederbike in PF lately. the rules would be similar to the magic carpets except they would only be able to carry 1 person, 2 if small or smaller. could add saddle bags of holding just for good measure. it can be made of any material, though certain materials would be cheaper. any thoughts or am i just that crazy fanboy trying to mix genera again?
Powerful Charge (Ex) When a creature with this special attack makes a charge, its attack deals extra damage in addition to the normal benefits and hazards of a charge. The attack and amount of damage from the attack is given in the creature’s description. Format: powerful charge (gore, 4d8+24); Location: Special Attacks does this stack with a regular charge attack? would a half-fiend minotaur form the book have a +15/+13 (3d6+9)+(2d6+9) from his greataxe/ powerful charge combo?
Am I the only person who was upset about the weapons Nerfs that came in the ult combat? the katana has been accepted as a bastard sword and the naginata a glaive. the meteor hammer in the adventurers armory is a better weapon overall than the one in ult combat. are these intentional downgrades or were they mistakes that will be fixed in later errata? on the other hand i am pleased that the samurai great armor is on par with full plate. i am also pleased with the ATs (just to show I'm not a negative Nancy)
I have an idea for a combat feat, it may be a little OP, but considering the prerequisites I don’t think it's too OP. Flash Step (Combat)
What are people’s thoughts?
Am I the only one that thinks that Spell Perfection kinda needs the wording fixed in the case of Pally/Bard and the new Magus? is a character cannot normally cast a 9th level spell, why should he benefit from a spell modified to 9th level? According to Spell Perfection, a maximized Chain Lightning would be allowed, but since the Magus can only cast 6th level spells, i think that the feat should be modified from, "as long as the total modified level of the spell does not use a spell slot above 9th level." to as long as the total modified level of the spell does not use a spell slot above the highest level spell you can cast." Because a Pally can take feats like Silent, Still and Maximize spell then Spell Perfection. Then add the Maximize to something like Fires of Vengeance, or maximize those cure spells! |
